And it was my first time trying "Forgotten Taste Pierogies", I returned two more times during my stay. Note: The Moon Township location only offered takeout. The owners were great host/hostesses. They checked in with me a couple of times during my 12-day stay just to make sure I didn't need anything, etc. I would definitely stay here again."

Hydrangea Cottage was a former carriage house to one of the stately Victorians on Broad Street. The first floor has an open floor plan which includes a fully-equipped kitchen and a powder room. The second floor features one queen bedroom, one full bedroom, one bedroom with a twin and sofa bed, and one twin bedroom. There is a full bath with a stocked shower and laundry as well. Nespresso, WiFi, Sonos, two fire pits, and a doggy door with enclosed area.

- Each bedroom has a comfortable mattress with comfortable linens and down bedding.

- There are several spaces in the home that are suited to remote work. For a more casual environment, we love working at the kitchen island. Need to take calls away from friends & family? Enjoy working at the desk in one of the upstairs bedrooms. The house is equipped with high speed WiFi.

Laundry
- There is a washer and dryer located on the second floor. We provide laundry detergent and fabric softener.

TV
- All TVs are "smart" and are setup with house Netflix and Sling accounts.

- "Hydrangea Cottage was such a blessing to our family this past weekend. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine which was such a special way to start the weekend. We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed our downtime at the cottage. The large kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. There were plenty of dishes and pans. Everyone enjoyed the Nespresso machine and the cute retro microwave. The floor plan allowed us to enjoy each other's company to the fullest. All of the bedrooms had comfortable beds and were lovely spaces. My daughters adored the main bedroom closets and said that room was a girl's dream room. We were plenty warm in the house during a really cold weekend. Many thanks to Margorie and Cait for sharing this cottage with us for our weekend! And extra thanks for shoveling the driveway and having an easy path into the house. If we're ever in town for a non-winter month, we would love to use the back patio and firepit as they look like lovely spaces to gather in and enjoy."

The hosts have thought of everything and then some - hair dryers, k-cups, shampoo and shower gel, even pancake syrup were there. Communication was stellar - this was the first VRBO where I felt confident that I would have no trouble upon arrival. Such a relief! We were able to get in and settled quite easily. There were PLENTY of towels, a fully stocked kitchen, and even eggs and milk in the fridge for us! Wow! I didn't feel like a VRBO guest, but like a personal guest being welcomed and cared for. We are already booked to return and stay here when our son graduates from college in May and the whole family is looking forward to it! Thank you!!! This is not a negative comment, just an FYI - this may not be the best rental for young children or high-energy elementary schoolers, as there are a lot of breakable items. We are a 20 min drive from Downtown Pittsburgh and a 15 minute drive from PIT International Airport. The location is close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. without traveling far to get there. This house was very adequate for 6 “young at heart” women. Away from the noise, and near what you need, this Neville Island home offers quick, easy access to the Robert Morris University Island Sports Center, posh Sewickley, and the airport.

The house sits on a large riverfront lot, allowing you to enjoy the placid scene of the Ohio River from the large deck or backyard.

Our design emphasizes both style and function. While we want you feel like you`re someplace special, you should still find all the comforts of home - children and pets are welcome!

This home has two floors. The ground level includes two large bedrooms on opposing sides of the house, with a full bathroom in between. The washer and dryer are in the hallway to the bathroom.

Upon entering the house, when you look to the right, you`ll find one bedroom has been set up for youngsters. There is a TV lounge area, and a table for board games, activities, or eating. This room also has a bunk bed with two full-size mattresses (in case you need extra space for 1 or 2 adult couples).

Across the hall is a similarly sized bedroom with a queen bed and a crib.

The second floor is the house`s primary gathering space - a fully-equipped kitchen (featuring an expansive coffee station), dining room (seating for 8-10 + 1 high chair), and a bright and airy living room with a whole wall of windows overlooking the Ohio River and the backyard. The living room also includes an electric fireplace.

There are 2 additional bedrooms on this floor, and another full bathroom with a tub. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the other has a king bed and a dedicated workspace.

Outside: there are two sliding doors in the living room that open to a very spacious (runs the width of the house) deck. This deck includes two gas fire pits, an outdoor dining table (for 4), two love seats, and two Adirondack chairs. There are stairs down to the backyard.

All bedrooms have Roku TVs (see below for TV sizes).

We`re committed to doing whatever we can to make your stay the best it can be. We absolutely love this city and would be delighted to share with you some of our favorite restaurants, museums, parks or attractions. We respect your privacy and will communicate as little or as much as you wish.

The home is set back 2 blocks from the main road through Neville (Grand Ave). Most houses are modest in size and well-kept. It sits on a riverfront lot.

For groceries and restaurants, you will have to cross the river either into Coraopolis or Sewickley, but for convenience items there are two great gas stations within a mile (Sheetz and Speedway).

The RMU Sports Center is a 2-minute drive in the other direction, and there you`ll find a cafe that serves Starbucks Coffee.

This location also offers quick and easy access to and from Route 65 and Interstate 79.

Neville Island is easy to drive around, and also serviced by the Pittsburgh city bus system.

The immediate area around the house is residential and walkable, on both side of Grand Ave. You walk from the south side of the island to the north side of the island in under 10 minutes.

We`re available to help make your stay the best it can be, but the level of communication is entirely up to you. It is always our pleasure to make suggestions on where to go and what to do.

You will also receive a guidebook three days before check-in with recommendations and instructions for the appliances in the home.

We appreciate you taking a moment to familiarize yourself with these policies to ensure a smooth experience for all guests.

1. Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement/check-in form that you are required to sign and return at least 72 hours before your arrival. The address and door code will only be provided if the form is complete.

2. If you are local and / or under the age of 25 please notify us before making your reservation.

3. We may place a small deposit hold on your credit card 2 days before your arrival to cover any accidental property damage that may occur and it will be released after your check out. This is primarily for guests without an established track record of reviews from previous hosts.

4. We would like to inform you that for direct bookings, a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow our standard cancellation policy.

5. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 9:00 pm until 9:00am; please be respectful of the neighbors.

6. Absolutely no parties or events allowed

7. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number. And guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible.

8. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted inside the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage.
There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.

9. There can not be any more than the registered number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund.

10. This is a pet-friendly property! We’re glad if you were able to bring your pet along, but please note we have a few additional rules:
• Please note that a $25 Pet fee will be applied per pet, per night.
• Please disclose pets at the time of booking. All pets must be added to your reservation so the applicable pet fee can be applied.
• We are unable to host breeds of dogs deemed aggressive, per our insurance policy.
• No more than TWO (2) animals, no larger than 50 pounds.
• Pets are not allowed on furniture & please clean up after your pets.
• Do not leave your pet home alone unless crated (doggy doo-doo bags are provided).

11. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos.
• At departure: Please wash or place any remaining dirty dishes in the dishwasher
• Please bag up all trash and place in the outdoor containers (see house guidebook for instructions)
• Please follow all posted/guidebook rules for properties with special amenities like fire pits and hot tubs

12. For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera.

13. Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation, for any reason, will be considered no-shows. No-shows are non-refundable, and no credits, reschedules, or exceptions will be provided under any circumstances.

14. Please remember to take all of your belongings with you upon checkout. If you do leave something important behind, we will do our best to send your items back to you within a week.

15. If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs.

16. If you were a previous/current guest and did not respect our house rules and our property, we have the right to decline your next reservation.

FOR MEDIUM-TERM (30+ DAYS) STAYS ONLY:

17. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in).

18. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we may require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning may take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning may be mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property.

19. The cleaning fee for the mid-stay clean may be deducted from your security deposit or through Airbnb resolutions if you booked via Airbnb.

20. Cancellation Policy for Direct Booking Long-Term Reservations (30 days or more). For reservations of 30 days or longer, a separate cancellation policy applies:
