Ocean Oasis is a recently remodeled and tastefully decorated 1/1 condominium situated directly on the Atlantic Ocean on beautiful South Hutchinson Island. This direct oceanfront unit sleeps 4 and is pet friendly (with pet fee and signed pet addendum for up to two well-behaved dogs) with leashed dogs allowed on the beach. Ocean Oasis is located in the Spoonbill building in beautiful and serene Indian River Plantation, also home to the Marriott Hutchinson Island Resort. Beautiful oceanfront condo on Hutchinson Island in Stuart Florida, fully renovated in 2017 and subsequently updated with repainting in the living room and kitchen, professionally refinished kitchen cabinets, new patio furniture, and more artwork. We also hired a new cleaning service in June 2023 and they've done a great job in bringing our condo back to level of cleanliness that we demand and you expect.

Watch the ocean from the entire open plan living room/kitchen area as well as the primary bedroom facing the ocean. The deep, over-sized balcony provides a comfortable setting for outdoor living. The living room has a large leather sectional couch with power recliners on each end and next to it is a nice recliner. Granite counter-tops and modern appliances in the kitchen. Living room TV has a 65" Samsung 4K Smart TV, with Xfinity cable programming with 140 channels. 40" HDTV in each bedroom as well. High speed wireless internet (75+Mb). Premium memory foam mattresses on all beds as of June 2019. Both sets of sliding doors were replaced with hurricane-rated versions in 2018. Two electric twin air-mattresses with pillows and bedding are provided, along with a pack and play for families with small children. A beach box on the balcony contains beach chairs, an umbrella and assorted beach toys.

The Pelican Building is located within the beautiful Indian River Plantation resort and is convenient to Downtown Stuart and Jensen Beach. Due to building height restrictions, the beaches are less crowded than the surrounding areas. The Marriott Sandpiper Tiki Bar is located within an easy stroll for a cocktail or lunch, but far enough away to be unobtrusive. Our pool is located on the north side of our building (close but out of sight and hearing!) with ample lounge chairs, tables, BBQ grills, and a restroom; it is rarely busy. Publix is less than a mile away so there is no need to go back over the bridge to shop for groceries. Our condo is well supplied with all the necessary kitchen utensils and many spices are provided.

The bathroom has been fully renovated. The home has been refurbished but maintains its old Florida charm including Dade County pine flooring. There are large oak trees and a mango tree that likely predate the 1925 home. Parking is plentiful with two driveways and additional on street parking. Sidewalks and crosswalks extend from the home to just about anywhere you'd like to travel in downtown Stuart.

One picture is worth a 1000 words does NOT apply to our spectacular condo! As Florida condo renters for years, purchasing, updating and decorating this unit was a labor of love for the owners. Working in the fast-paced NYC music industry, their primary consideration was peace, seclusion and privacy. Hutchinson Island is Florida’s best kept secret. This barrier island is nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the serene and beautiful Indian River. The owners found it quite by accident by searching Google key words such as, “private vacation getaway”, and “secluded island.” With the exception of one Marriott Resort, there are no huge hotel conglomerates, no crowded beaches, just miles of breathtaking, serene, shell packed beaches and miraculously, only a very few condos restricted to the maximum 4 story height. We choose the Spoonbill because it is only one of two ocean front buildings in Indian River Plantation offering one week rentals.

The Lyric stage hosts a year-round schedule of world-class performances from national and internationally renowned artists featuring concerts, comedy, musicals, drama and dance. The Barn Theater presents delightful plays featuring local talent.

6) Only 45 minutes away from Palm Beach International Airport, 25 minutes from First Data Field in Port Saint Lucie, the spring training camp for the New York Mets and 35 minutes from Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, FL, the spring training camp for the St. Louis Cardinals. Disney World and Universal Studios are only 2 hours away.
