Fishlake is one of the best kept secrets between Chicago and Detroit. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the the city and unwind in this very quiet and comfortable lake Cottage. It's an all sports lake that has a ski course.(Rental Boats near by) Great fishing and great neighbors. The cottage has all you need to relax and have a good time. 2 Kayaks are available for use. The hot tub is great after a long day on the lake. You can't go wrong with this place. This is a 1 bed 1 bath that has high end finishes.Full Kitchen for as small as it is. This isn't the kind of rental that isn't completely stocked. The sofa in the TV room is a pull out bed that is brand new and actually very comfortable. This place can sleep 5 people comfortably. With an air mattress available if needed.
In the summer the sunsets are exactly center to the cottage. It's absolutely what you need after dealing with the the daily grind of the city. You can't go wrong with this place. It's just so magical and rejuvenating.

Ride bikes along the trails, and very quiet roads of the neighborhood. Bring your fur baby and go for long walks through the neighborhood. All of the cooking essentials included seasonings and grill are included, so you can cook up a gourmet meal and relax on the deck for dinner or walk to two neighboring family diner/brewery type restaurants when you don’t want to go to the trouble of cooking. The hot tub is shared space, but give us a 10 minute notice for privacy.

The stairs down to the basement were really steep and my heart sank briefly that we should have thought to pack a baby gate (because we have a 10-month-old who is crawling and loves to move), but then I noticed there was a semi-permanent one installed there by the owner. - "Our family had a wonderful time at the lakehouse! It is a quad level home and the layout of the house flows nicely. All the bedrooms had comfortable queen beds and closets for hanging up clothes. The 3 bedrooms upstairs shared a nice sized bathroom (no tub). The single bedroom on the lower level offered a little more privacy and had a jet tub! The kitchen was well stocked with seasonings, sauces, paper supplies...all the basics! The microwave was really cool, and there is an ice maker (just make sure you turn it on when you arrive). The frosty mugs were very nice to have as there is lots of sunshine! My husband and our kids enjoyed walking to the dock to fish and also taking the kayaks out. The garage offers lots and lots of water supplies- kayaks, paddles, tubes, life jackets, water toys...the only thing we didn't find was goggles. The water was very clear and had tons of lily pads! The hot tub was most enjoyable, and we spent a good amount of time just hanging out on the deck, soaking up the sun. The sunroom was probably my favorite place to have coffee and relax and my son's favorite place to nap! Absolutely beautiful home, and our favorite vacation place by far! A great place to relax and hang out. Our family truly enjoyed our time together at the lakehouse, and we would love to go back next summer!"
