Our home is very light and done in shades of gray, white and a splash of color here and there! We refinish and paint furniture so I like a little distressed pieces through out the house with the furnishings and decor!

There is a free standing large wooden garage behind our home with a finished apartment. When our home is being rented out, my husband Dave and I stay in the apartment. We are away often, so we may not be in the apartment during your stay.

We are right outside the city limits of High Point. Our home sits on 2 acres on a private drive. The patio and front porch make it very nice to enjoy your morning coffee as the sun comes up and a glass of wine while the sun goes down! You will find that most areas of shopping and restaurants are with 4-5 miles! High Point University is exactly 4 miles..Downtown High Point is 3 miles from our Home.

I have to say the overall reason we love our home is of the quietness and peacefulness it provides

There are two bathrooms featuring a tub with shower, sink vanity and toilet. The hall bath is shared while the primary bedroom has its own en-suite.

Remain comfortable year round with the central heat and air. Parking is limited to (2) spaces. There are several grassy areas to walk pets or grill out.

Property features free wireless internet, 50 inch smart TV, kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls, cooking utensils, basic kitchen supplies for cooking such as salt, pepper, oil, foil, and you’ll always find a few non perishable food items to get you by until you get settled in. Plus a few baking pans as well. There is a coffee maker, filters, coffee and some condiments for you to enjoy and cold bottled spring water in the fridge.

We have stocked up with bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, Iron and Ironing Board and a few items ranging from band aids to soap and shampoo to get you started.

Cozy Home located next to Historic Downtown Thomasville on a quiet street. Original pine hardwood floors have been restored and stained to provide a clean modern feel. The spacious living room has large floor to ceiling windows with lots of natural light and a ceiling fan. The pine floors flow into the bedrooms with new closets and ceiling fans. The eat in kitchen is perfect for cooking and entertaining. You will love cooking with all new stainless appliances including a stove, built-in microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The home is complete with a new washer and dryer. The kitchen and bathrooms feature tile floors. The updated bathroom has large tub with shower, new sink vanity and toilet.

Storage is not an issue in this house which features a coat closet, and kitchen pantry. There is also additional storage in the utility room located off the carport.

Remain comfortable year round with the new central air system. The carport offers covered parking and provides additional storage. The spacious backyard is perfect for grilling and enjoying on summer afternoons.

Property features free wireless internet, 42 inch smart TV, kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls, cooking utensils, basic kitchen supplies for cooking such as salt, pepper, oil, foil, and you’ll always find a few non perishable food items to get you by until you get settled in. There are a few baking pans in the bottom drawer of the oven. There is a coffee maker, filters, coffee and some condiments for you to use.

The bathroom offers bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and a few items ranging from band aids to soap and shampoo to get you started.

Our beds offer clean sheets and comfy pillows and will be all made up when you arrive.

Laundry will be a breeze with our newer washer and dryer. The dryer is in a separate room off the carport. We have provided a few tide pods and dryer sheets for your convenience.

Throughout the home we have added special touches and commonly requested items like tooth picks and ink pens.

We take COVID very serious and have provided disinfectant wipes, sanitizing cleaner, antibacterial hand soap, and several name brand cleaning chemicals which we use to clean and sanitize the home to prepare for your arrival. We ask that you use these items to maintain a clean and safe environment. Since these items are sometimes difficult to source the inventory may vary. We ask you to be conservative in the use and application of these items so all our guests can enjoy them and maintain a safe environment.

The washer is in the kitchen but the dryer is off the carport in the utility room.
