For example, there were plenty of USB charging ports in the room, which is a small, but helpful touch. - "Booked hotel as it was in the path of the eclipse. Did not expect much considering the hotel is in a small Indiana town. Very pleasantly surprised. Staff & managers were friendly and attentive. Was impressed by the gentleman who serviced the breakfast area. He moved continuously the entire breakfast refilling items well before they had run out. The morning of the eclipse, there were a number of checkouts. The hotel had brought in more housekeeping staff (at least this was my impression) to get rooms cleaned and ready for new guests. The hotel was super prepared and carried out the day's work seemingly without effort. Don't know if I'll be in this area again but would book this hotel again in a heartbeat!"

- "This was our place to stay on a family trip for the total eclipse in April 2024. Washington, Indiana, was perfect for the eclipse, just about in the center of the strip of totality. This listing seemed perfect for our needs - 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, nicely decorated with WiFi and smart TVs, and a full kitchen. I was so pleased that it was available. This property was better than we expected. Absolutely perfectly set up, with linens and towels and kitchen wares ready for our stay. We were literally within walking distance of a city park that became our eclipse viewing spot. Weather was perfect, the park was beautiful and full of families and photographers. We had some very good meals at restaurants in the city, and it was easy to pick up any items needed at the stores in town. This is a 1950's very well built solid house that has been completely remodeled and has all new plumbing, wiring, and hvac. It has a large master bedroom with full adjoining bath. There is a balcony area and full bath upstairs along with 2 nice sized bedrooms and ample closet space. It also comes complete with a laundry and 1/2 bath on the main floor. The huge kitchen,dining, living area is great for entertainment and relaxing. Not pictured yet is a 60" tv in the living room and also tv's in the balcony and master bedroom. Coming in the future will be 3 full bedrooms a kitchen, and full bath in the basement.
