Nice and friendly staff" - "The night before Christmas Eve, as most of those who celebrate the holidays found we too, had a packed filled day and weren't sure how to do it all. My husband worked 3rd shift, we had to travel, and he still had to sleep before 11:00am. for brunch and Christmas celebrations is family. I couldn't see any way possible to fit everything in. I explained and they had solutions. The staff was exceptional, everyone worked hard, smiling *NOT on their phones. Very attentive to guests and going out of their way to take care of each guest as they were able. Very Impressed with almost everything about this place. This is the first time we've been that the hot tub was luke warm. I got in anyway due to having back surgery recently (didn't submerge the area) and would have loved a nice hot tub experience on the leg that was affected by the ruptured disk surgery. The lack of hot water almost got to me, but our Christmas was spent in a nice hotel with our now grown young people and we couldn't have asked for more. The other thing I noticed was during the meals, things did get messy on the counters and around the area floors. Staff was quickly there to make up for the mess. This group of people are exceptional in my opinion. Oh yea, did I mention it was Christmas? They worked with smiles, helpful information, and a cheery disposition throughout the stay. Thank you staff, not only for working, but having a wonderful attitude. You helped make our Christmas brighter. "

This brand new home is setup to be quiet, convenient and comfortable for the entire stay, whether it’s just for a couple nights as a getaway or a prolonged stay for a business trip. Its a ranch style split floor plan which features three bedrooms and two full baths with the ability to accommodate up to 8 people. The master bedroom has a king bed with separate bath and large walk-in closet. The second bathroom has a queen bed and the third had a twin over full bunk bed.

High speed internet and cable is provided. There are flat screen TVs in the living room and master bedroom setup with cable and Netflix. There is a washer and drier in the laundry room for your use. The kitchen is well equipped, including a full set of cookware and a coffee pot with filters. Mid stay cleanings for longer bookings can be arranged. In addition I will do my best to provide special accommodations should reasonable requests be made.

Unfortunately I do require there be no lit candles, smoking or pets in the house. Both myself and children have allergies and this is a part time home for us. I appreciate you being respectful and treating the home as such, since it is just that. I currently do not allow access to the garage but there is enough room for two larger vehicles in the driveway.

Other things to note
Access is via key box, so we are very flexible about your arrival time. We will leave the lights on for you. There is free enclosed and outdoor parking with plenty of room for trailers, so bring along your boats, show cars & ATVs (ATVs for park use only) . We can accommodate Rv's up to 27 feet in length.

You will have access to the the entire home shown. We are an enviromentally friendly place. Please use minimal amount of linens including beds. The number of guests on the reservation should match the number of beds used. All beds are equiped with the exact same new mattress except for the size. The 2 car garage, front, side and backyard to use the fire pit, grill, swing set and play games that are provided.

CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS
Before checkout please put all used dry linens in the clothes basket located in the closet. All wet linens put in the net clothes basket located in the master bedroom closet and put it in the bathtub. Wash all used dishes and put them away. Carry trash to the big can in the garage. Put key back in lockbox and make sure all doors are closed tightly, locked and secure including the overhead garage door. The back door needs to be pulled hard to make it latch. Nestled on a hill in historical downtown Newburgh, this home built in 1862 has an undeniable charm. It’s perfectly situated to view the activities of a small quaint downtown along with scenes of the river. Downtown offers clothing boutiques, bakeries, specialty shops and restaurants all within walking distance.

Guests will enjoy the privacy of the entire home offering two full bedrooms (king and queen beds), full bath, kitchen, dining and living rooms. The home has been recently updated with an entirely new kitchen and bath. The loft is accessible via the king bedroom but unfurnished at this time...more bedrooms coming soon!

The kitchen is stocked with essential cookware for guests to enjoy and entertain during their stay. All of the basic needs are provided including dishwasher and laundry detergent, toilet paper and paper towels as well as some toiletries.
