- "just need a broom to sweep off front porch" - "It was so clean, cozy, and has unique decor! It brought back some childhood memories! The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils and dishes. There is also a Keurig machine and a toaster, which we used both. And since there wasn't an ice maker in the freezer, a bag of ice was provided, which was a nice touch and something we wouldn't have thought about! It is great that there is an additional toilet and sink to help out when everyone is trying to get ready at once. And there are large mounted TVs in both bedrooms as well as the living room. There was also adequate driveway parking! It was located on a very quiet street and very close to the main road which made it easy to get to. Kim, the host, was great and VERY responsive when we had questions/needs! It was a pleasure to stay here and it helped make one part of our holiday with family easier! I would definitely recommend and stay again if we were in need of a place in the Bedford area!!"

In between the barndominiums you will have a large blacktop area for outdoor activities and a basketball goal and also offers an activity area where kids can play. Staying at Donkeytown also gives you a beautiful 40 acres to explore with hiking, picnics, and fishing in our two fully stocked ponds. After dinner we soaked in the hot tub while it drizzled. An absolutely perfect visit! My only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer! Blooming has any kind of food your heart desires or would like to try for the first time! It always has plenty of fun activities and shopping!
If you’re looking to be close to nature, Sprill Mill park is about 15 minutes south. They offer cave explorations and a pioneer village experience. All great for kids and families!
