- "This place is cute with character and convenience. Everything was just as represented in listing. It was perfect for what we needed…a safe, comfortable place near downtown Louisville. The house had all the things you need but don’t want to haul with you when going out of town. The yard was great for our dog. Huge! The hot tub was great and roomy. The only thing was the chlorine was a little too much, it was strong smelling and the steam kind of burned your eyes. But I would rather it be too much than not enough in a rental. The bed was comfortable, although high for us short people, with lots of space in the bedroom for luggage and clothing. It was close to quaint downtown New Albany, with unique bars and restaurants, and yet convenient to stores and any kind of chain restaurant you could want. It was a wonderful stay and we plan to return and bring our friends. It’s perfect for two couples or a small family."

Cute and simple. Newly redecorated with a theme of flow and comfort. It’s an older home with newer features while maintaining that quaint character only older houses have. Like knowing a secret that can never be revealed. Book this house and expect a cozy comfortable stay away from home. Spacious living, dining room combination with two bedrooms off living/dining area. There are two queen sized beds in one room and one queen in other bedroom. Bathroom is very basic with shower stall, also new washer/dryer in bathroom. Kitchen has new stove and refrigerator and is large enough to prepare and plan gourmet family meal. New 55” TV hangs on wall opposite sectional sofa. Cozy down and watch Netflix. It was the first Christmas together in 5 years. There was bad weather so we left to get there early not knowing what snow accumulation would be. We arrived earlier than expected. Patricia graciously accommodated us. This was a huge relief after my husband drove 10 hours with a two large dogs and a teen. The house was adorable and immaculate. We were greeted with a gift for us and for the dogs. It really made me feel welcomed. The location was very quiet and we had no issues whatsoever. I will definitely be returning. The kitchen has all the equipment needed to cook meals: fully-equipped, open plan kitchen | full-sized refrigerator, oven range | dishwasher | microwave | toaster | coffee maker | utensils | 12 piece non-stick cookware sets while there is a gas grill for use as well. The dining area seats 4 people. The front door has a coded lock for front door entry. There is free street side parking and a driveway for use in the back. Our Roku TV gives guests access to streaming services. Help yourself to all our appliances. In the newly renovated bathroom, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. The back deck provides relaxation and restful place for sipping hot coffee in the morning or reading a book! The Stone House has an unfinished basement and garage for storage, these are locked for safety purposes for families traveling with children. There is a sump pump in the basement, so you may hear it periodically run it's cycle.

Self check-in via lockbox. Access code will be sent prior to arrival to obtain keys to access home. Front door access, side door has safety feature of exit only with no key needed, stays locked on outside.

This unit has a ground floor, street facing entrance. It features a complete kitchen with dining area, 2 full bathrooms, 2 Bedrooms, a large living room with wood burning fireplace, a full sized washer/dryer and a room safe. All of our apartments are stocked with fresh towels, extra linens, soaps, shampoo, cleaning supplies and coffee. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook with including some basic staples. ( We provide coffee, sugar, creamer, salt and pepper.)
You can access the building anytime after 3 pm on day of check in by using the coded keypad. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community.
Each unit has its own private entry. The property has a fenced patio garden area with outdoor grill that is shared by all. Plenty of street parking available in front of the building. The Wi-Fi is provided for free and is shared by all guests staying on the property. For the safety of our guests we have motion detection security lights and security cameras on the exterior of the property.

Any extra guest(s) that stays without being declared at booking or prior to arrival will be charged $60.00 per person per night.

Smoking/vaping is not allowed inside the apartments.
