- "The room was very nice, comfortable, clean, and quiet. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. The locked mental health center behind the building is very visible , I am a psychiatric NP so I was fine w that but other people might feel more calm not seeing that. But more intensely was the nearby fairly large homeless camp. I saw the police checking it and there were porta-potties, for them which tells me the community is trying to help them, that is good. But people get nervous near homeless camps,. I'm not sure what you can do about that. The back parking lot had some construction materials which maybe could be moved. You really try to do a good job for the customers and it shows. I also appreciated that I could bring my dogs here at a very reasonable rate. Your pool and sauna area was very attractive. Your receptionist said he checked the doors on the camera at night, I had not asked, but that was nice. I recently stayed at a very expensive hotel in San Diego, paid for parking there, three of my four tires were badly slashed and they did not express much care, all they did was re-imburse the parking fees, they did not attempt to help at all, that gave me a very different feeling about them compared to your less expensive hotel in a small unassuming town. - "Was making our way back to Oregon and chose the Klamath Motor Lodge as our halfway point. Our stay, while just one night, was very enjoyable. The front desk staff were friendly and informative. The room was clean and clearly sanitized. The heater worked well. When we requested an additional blanket the staff quickly brought us two. The breakfast was a simple continental fare, but the hard boiled eggs were fresh and the frozen waffles were delicious after being toasted. I loved the individual servings of peanut butter. The Gillis House is the largest single family home in Siskiyou County. It’s been a movie set as well as an episode on the PBS show “If These Walls Could Talk.” The mansion has two new kitchens for your private use. One bedroom can be converted from a king bed to two extra long twin beds. Let us know your preference. The massive downstairs offers a large, fully-equipped chef's kitchen, huge living room, library with big screen tv, game room with poker table and 12 foot long custom table in the grand dining room. as well as a first-level bedroom for those guests who would prefer not to walk up stairs. The remaining four bedrooms are on the second level along with a kitchenette.

- "I grew up in Yreka and have been by this house a thousand times. Being able to stay here and have such a great experience was amazing! I stayed here with my family and my brother's family. There were so much space and never did we feel too crowded. The cleanliness of the house was great. I am pretty picky and I was blown away by what a great job they did with such a large home. All the furnishings fit the house beautifully and the remodeling that was done was very tasteful. The house is beyond stocked for almost anything you like to do. I wish we had more time so that I could've used the incredible kitchen! Communication with the owner was great and easy. We didn't get a chance to meet in person but their property manager was nice to deal with as well. This is such a piece of history for the town of Yreka and I'm grateful that they have kept this house up and are allowing people to stay there. I hope we get another chance to stay here in the future!"

- "The house was a great place to stay while in Yreka for a tournament. It definitely had its quirks, but met our needs. It was cold in the bedrooms, and we put the extra blankets on the beds. The heater kept the living room warm, though. The house didn't have a binder with instructions on how to access the wifi, or how to get the tv to work. We got the password after contacting the owner, but were not able to get the tv to work. It is a working property, so be prepared for there to be noises outside in the morning, but those sorts of things don't bother us. We would stay again if we have to go back to Yreka"

- "Our stay was mostly good with some confusion tossed in. There weren’t enough towels for the four of us, but that was resolved fairly quickly with brand new towels. It was unclear as to who was supposed to be dumping the “tank” and where to empty the trash. It’s a decent trailer, in a convenient location and very reasonable. After an unexpected change in our previously arranged lodging, and despite the confusion, I’m glad it was there!"
