The Gillis House is the largest single family home in Siskiyou County. It’s been a movie set as well as an episode on the PBS show “If These Walls Could Talk.” The mansion has two new kitchens for your private use. One bedroom can be converted from a king bed to two extra long twin beds. Let us know your preference. The massive downstairs offers a large, fully-equipped chef's kitchen, huge living room, library with big screen tv, game room with poker table and 12 foot long custom table in the grand dining room. as well as a first-level bedroom for those guests who would prefer not to walk up stairs. The remaining four bedrooms are on the second level along with a kitchenette.

- "I grew up in Yreka and have been by this house a thousand times. Being able to stay here and have such a great experience was amazing! I stayed here with my family and my brother's family. There were so much space and never did we feel too crowded. The cleanliness of the house was great. I am pretty picky and I was blown away by what a great job they did with such a large home. All the furnishings fit the house beautifully and the remodeling that was done was very tasteful. The house is beyond stocked for almost anything you like to do. I wish we had more time so that I could've used the incredible kitchen! Communication with the owner was great and easy. We didn't get a chance to meet in person but their property manager was nice to deal with as well. This is such a piece of history for the town of Yreka and I'm grateful that they have kept this house up and are allowing people to stay there. I hope we get another chance to stay here in the future!"

- "The house was a great place to stay while in Yreka for a tournament. It definitely had its quirks, but met our needs. It was cold in the bedrooms, and we put the extra blankets on the beds. The heater kept the living room warm, though. The house didn't have a binder with instructions on how to access the wifi, or how to get the tv to work. We got the password after contacting the owner, but were not able to get the tv to work. It is a working property, so be prepared for there to be noises outside in the morning, but those sorts of things don't bother us. We would stay again if we have to go back to Yreka"

- "Our stay was mostly good with some confusion tossed in. There weren’t enough towels for the four of us, but that was resolved fairly quickly with brand new towels. It was unclear as to who was supposed to be dumping the “tank” and where to empty the trash. It’s a decent trailer, in a convenient location and very reasonable. After an unexpected change in our previously arranged lodging, and despite the confusion, I’m glad it was there!"

Convenient for traveling between Washington, Oregon and all parts of California less then a mile off of I-5 freeway . Pets welcome upon approval leashes required. A spacious and inviting 320sqft master en-suite in downtown Yreka. King sized bed with cotton sheets, cozy blankets and soft pillows. The room has a mini split for your added comfort for you to control. Large casement windows face East and provide soft morning light. The bathroom includes a custom tile shower, freestanding soaking tub, and walk in closet. Take the french doors to the back yard patio to enjoy your quiet evenings listening to the sounds of the fountain or take a late night dip in the 12’ deep diving swimming pool (seasonal enjoyment offered June-October -please confirm).
Use of the pool is $10 per person. Please let the owner know that you’d like the use of the swimming pool during your stay. Cash on site during your stay is appreciated. Towels are provided.

Located in the heart of the Historic District and one block from the city park. Within 1 minute, you can be sipping a cup of tea at our local favorite, Zephyr’s Coffee!
Enjoy your afternoon walking through the beautiful Miner Street downtown area to dine at a variety of restaurants. A local favorite in town is the Miner Street Meat Market. Order a tri-tip sandwich and a cold soft drink, and make sure to say hello to Ken & the Crew!

Greenhorn Park is 2.6 miles S of the studio, which has a beautiful paved walking/jogging path which is 1 mile. There are multiple miles of mountain bike trials, hiking trails, and its beauty is much to be appreciated.

Just five minutes from the downtown Yreka I-5 on-ramp, this is a private getaway just on the edge of town. Decorated with stylish mid-century modern inspired out-of-this-world decor (with some books about extraterrestrials believed to be in Northern California) we can’t promise views of anything other than Mount Shasta and our resident wildlife - numerous deer and wild turkeys and hares make our tranquil property home with the occasional fox to liven things up.

Your family will love this 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath Victorian mansion, listed as the largest private home in Siskiyou County. Short walk to the historic, gold-rush downtown of Yreka. Exquisite new kitchen with gas Thermador cooktop and double oven. Morning coffee can be had in the kitchenette right down the hall from the 4 bedrooms on the second level. Four bathrooms service the second floor (two en suites). There is an additional bedroom on the first floor along with a separate full bath.

This 1895 grand Queen Anne Victorian boasts a fully renovated interior and fresh paint on the exterior. Guests get to enjoy the first and second floor of the house. The third floor is currently storage. Guests may use the downstairs fully-stocked grand kitchen with Thermador appliances and 48” range and double-ovens, laundry room and fifth bathroom as well as huge wraparound front porch and other outdoor spaces. No parties or weddings unless an event fee has been negotiated with the owner.
