Beth was a great communicator and responded quickly to any questions I had throughout the whole process. She also had a really comprehensive set of resources on site of things to explore in the area. Instructions for check in and check out were very clearly communicated. We would definitely love to return at some point in the future. What a great location and a great experience!"

Whale watching occurs March through May and depending on the high seas November through December. The arrival of the Aleutian Geese to Castle Island as they migrate north is a spectacular event from February through March. Nature is abundant in Del Norte County all year long and the easy beach access offers our guests the chance to explore tide pools and view spectacular sunsets along Pebble Beach.

It's small enough to escape the crowds and traffic but big enough to find all of the amenities you'll need including groceries, restaurants and a large drug store. Only a short walk to a large City park with great views of the local lighthouse.

Explore the many nearby beaches or take a hike in the redwoods. Jedadiah Smith State Park is very close and has beautiful redwood groves along the pristine Smith River. Crescent City is about 15 miles south of the Oregon border so it's close to many attractions from casinos, to river rafting, to miles of hiking trails and unspoiled beaches.

Beautifully furnished for your comfort and the style of the Pacific Ocean in mind, Beachfront Studio features a one bedroom, one bath studio apartment with a comfortable queen-size bed, an equally relaxing double-size futon/bed, a large sofa and an open-concept living room/kitchen/dining room/sun room with YouTube TV and various movie channels and wireless Internet access.

The apartment has a large kitchen that is fully equipped. The bathroom has a shower/tub and you have access to the laundry room. The property is located on Pebble Beach Drive, with unmatched ocean views from the property or you can head down to the beach - just a short 1/2 block walk away!

Best of all is the breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean. Directly in front of you lies a grassy area with table and benches to enjoy majestic sunsets, miles and miles of deep blue ocean and sea stacks where you may often see migrating whales and adventurous surfers.

Directly behind of our back yard, we own another piece of property which we call the Rothbar Puppy Park. The puppy park is approximately 1/2 acre that is fully fenced, with a small garden and lots of grass and textures for your pups to explore and enjoy. Within the puppy park is a 10x12 ft. puppy spa with warm water and electricity to bathe and dry your 4-legged friends after a romp on the beach. We accept dogs only. no cats.

When you initially book our apartment, please indicate the number of guests (3–person maximum), the number of beds needed and the number of pets and size of the pets. We allow only dogs, no cats.

There is an additional $25 fee for pets. We have found that our house keeper requires additional time to thoroughly clean the apartment when guests have pets. We appreciate your understanding. This fee will be requested after you have confirmed your reservation.

In addition to these wonderful accommodations, my art studio adjoins the apartment. I use this studio for art classes and to create various art that includes silk painting, fused glass and mosaics. You may make arrangements to participate in a variety of art classes for a nominal fee.

Completely renovated 1920’s home with lots of natural light and period architectural and woodwork detail, Redwood Bungalow is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath vacation rental located within walking distance of the ocean and downtown Crescent City.

The house sleeps up to 6 people, 2 in each bedroom and 2 on the full size sofa bed in the living room. The upstairs master bedroom and bath have distant views of the ocean, Battery Point Lighthouse, and the mountains behind Redwood National Park.

Built in 1923, Redwood Bungalow was renovated and the attic converted to a master bedroom in 2019. The fir floors down stairs are original, the upstairs flooring and claw foot bath tub came out of a 1920's farm house. Reclaimed redwood was used for much of the building materials, including the front deck and the interior stair handrail. The redwood shingles are eco-salvaged from a family owned local redwood mill that's been in operation for over 50 years.

The house is conveniently located near downtown and local restaurants and is walking distance to the beach at the south end of Pebble Beach Drive (2-1/2 blocks), Sea Quake Brewery (5 blocks) and Battery Point Light House (6 blocks). Jed Smith State Park, Stout Grove and the Smith River are about a 15 minute drive.

Relax in the redwoods! Be our guests and relax in our adorable 19 ft camp trailer after a day at the beach, and hiking the amazing trails through the Redwood State Parks. The camper is nestled adjacent to the main house on our 2-acre property in the Fort Dick area of Crescent City. Enjoy your morning coffee with a beautiful view of some towering redwood trees, giant old-growth redwood stumps, and beautiful green ferns. Only 4.6 miles from the beach. Pets ok! Must be cat friendly.
Huge redwood stumps, towering redwood trees surrounding the property, and beautiful ferns make you feel like you are tucked away in fairytale land. Enjoy covered outdoor seating and a picnic area. Inside we offer a small full bathroom, a Queen bed with a super comfy memory foam mattress, pillows, and a comforter. A single bed folds down over the Queen for children (100lb weight limit). The kitchen offers dual sinks, a microwave, a stovetop, and a coffee pot. The oven does not work. Coffee, sugar, and creamer are provided! You will also have a fridge and freezer! The small bathroom will have 4 towels, a hand towel, and 2 washcloths provided. The shower is small, but gets the job done! Parking for two cars. All linens, including the comforter, are washed on sanitized between each guest. Please note that there is an RV toilet in the trailer. RV toilets do not function like home toilets. Flush instructions are in the trailer and in the “other things to note” section of the listing. RV hot water heaters are very small. Please note that the hot water will only last between 5-10 minutes

RV toilets do not operate like traditional home toilets. They use very little water and must be used differently to avoid clogs. Please follow these instructions to prevent a clog during your stay. Our property boarders Pelican Bay State Prison. You can not see the prison but you can hear the yard speakers, range practice, and sometimes music. It’s mostly quiet, but you can hear it at times.

During the winter months, we get A LOT of rain and wind. Please be aware that limbs and debris may fall from the redwoods and the power could go out for 1-6 hours during big storms. The redwoods can also fall during these storms. So please note that if a strong storm system is coming in we may ask that you cancel for a full refund for your safety. The host is not responsible for any damages due to weather. Will not refund for weather unless a weather event has a major impact on the area.

Our home is located on a quiet street surrounded by beautiful Redwood trees. There is access to the Coastal Redwood forest or our local beaches just 5 minutes from our home. For the fishing enthusiast there is world class Salmon and Steelhead fishing just 15 minutes away. (Salmon Oct-Dec) (Steelhead Dec-April)

The space
The room is located in the back of our home off of our little home gym. The bathroom is our guest bathroom, it is not connected directly to guest room. You will have to pass through the house to access the bathroom. (We typically only have one guest at a time)

The private suite is attached to our house. Enjoy redwood forest all around you. Native plants and wildlife are a highlight of our property. Area information is abundant including a large collection of wildlife and natural history books and field guides . Wifi, 55-inch Smart TV, Netflix, DVDs, games, robes, slippers. Cuisinart air fryer toaster oven, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, induction burner, mini-refrigerator, small gas grill, gas fire pit, cocktail mixing set. We do not have a full kitchen; please have a look at photos. It is not designed for gourmet cooking. There is a covered front porch and your own deck facing the back yard. The space and deck are very private. We have a friendly young border collie dog who may visit. Pets are welcome; we request $10/pet/night payable on arrival; the fee was not part of your reservation, but that has been amended to new reservations made after 5/17. No aggressive dogs allowed. There is a basket of pet amenities.

This home sits on 1 acre within a quiet neighborhood. Lots of sunshine fills this property and is great for a family getaway. If you want to be centrally located this is the home for you. The beaches, Redwood forest trails, and grocery stores are within a five-mile radius. This home is a guesthouse that sits about 50 feet off the back of the main house. There is currently a shared yard that is not fully fenced.

Our trailer is located in our driveway in a quiet neighborhood. We are located only one mile from a huge sandy beach, 2 miles from the Giant Redwoods of far-northern California, and 30 minutes from the Trees of Mystery. Our Tiny Bunkhouse comes fully stocked with everything you need for a great camping experience, sleeps 5, and has a kitchenette, and tiny bathroom complete with tiny shower. We offer delivery to the local campground of your choice, or you can stay in our driveway.

The space
Trailer sleeps 5. The full size bed sleeps 2, the dinette converts into a bed for 1, and the bunk sleeps 1 on top and 1 on bottom. The full size bed comes with sheets, pillowcases, 2 pillows, and blankets. The bunks come with one sleeping bag each with a liner, and one pillow with pillowcase each. If you plan on sleeping on the dinette, please let me know so I can include an extra sleeping bag and pillow.

The fully stocked kitchen has all pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. needed for basic camp cooking. There is a microwave, an indoor two burner cooktop, and also a single burner outdoor stove. Please be aware that the fridge and freezer are small. Kitchen comes with paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, sponge, baggies, salt, pepper, cinnamon, cooking spray, imitation vanilla, and some sugar.

Trailer is tiny, as advertised. Showers must be brief or you will run out of hot water. Toilet paper and towels are provided, but you will need to bring your own soap and toiletries.

Trailer has everything needed for a fun camping trip. Lantern, flashlights, roasting sticks, camp chairs, camp table, and camp games. An ice chest is available upon request. We are only 1 mile from a beach where you can have a campfire.

There is not a TV in the trailer, so please bring your own entertainment. Wi-Fi is available, but not very reliable in our neighborhood.

You are welcome to stay in my driveway, or I'm happy to deliver the trailer to your campsite within 10 miles of my home for no charge. Please message me for more information.

Guest access
You have exclusive access to the trailer and one parking space in front of the trailer. Please do not block the mailbox. You can use the driveway as a patio for the trailer if desired. You are welcome to use the front yard of the house.

The Tiny Trailer is really tiny. The water heater is tiny and the holding tanks are tiny and the interior space is tiny.

Just 3 miles south of Crescent City, my little bungalow offers all you will need to make yourself feel at home. Crescent Beach and the entrance to one of the most amazing Redwood forests anywhere are both a little over one mile away.

The space
Hello everyone.... Some quick info: The property is less than 3 miles south of Crescent City in what is called the Bertsch Tract neighborhood. Behind the main house (which is where I live) there is a little bungalow that I had been renting to long term renters for about 12 years or so. After having many serious troubles with tenants, I decided to list the place on Airbnb to try something different and it was a great decision! My guests have been so nice and respectful of the property and seem to really enjoy staying here. I am very thankful for this!

The space is cozy and private and has everything you need to feel at home and to cook meals, etc. I have tea and coffee and usually some soup or oatmeal and random condiments stocked in case you get here late after a long drive and want to grab a snack without having to go shopping right away. In winter, my guests love to fire up the wood stove and enjoy it's warmth and ambiance. I supply shampoo and soaps and a hair dryer so my guests do not have to worry about those little things. The beds and linens and towels and washcloths were bought new when I started and while most of the furniture is second hand and the appliances have been around a while, I keep everything clean and tidy and I continue to improve upon and fine tune the space as time goes by and as I learn more about what travelers need and expect. The listing is kept current as things change little by little, so it will generally look very close to what you see in the pictures.

The long driveway can handle 2 or 3 cars and you will park right by the front door for easy loading. I have a cherry tree that puts out thousands of sweet cherries almost every year in July, a plum tree that is on that same schedule (not as consistent as the cherry tree though) , and an apple tree that has hundreds of apples, ripe later in the summer. Feel free to enjoy them. The landscaping and grounds are a work in progress as the last tenants had 3 large dogs that were a little rough (and so were the tenants!) on the property, but I have grass again now, yay!, and am slowly but surely improving upon the rest of it.

For now, I don't have have laundry facilities in the guest house, but I do in my house and am happy to do laundry for you.

I really want to be fair price-wise so just so you understand, I sometimes have to hire a cleaning person due to other items on my schedule and I don't charge my guests for that (there are no cleaning fees), nor do I charge 10% tax I pay (transient tax!), and I do supply firewood for when it is chilly. Many other bed and breakfasts charge for those kinds of things, so I just wanted to mention that to make sure you know there will be no hidden charges coming from me.

If you are looking to go out at night or wondering where to eat or where the special places to go see the natural beauty, I always have some good ideas and I always send a list of local sights to help you decide what to do when you are here. I play music regularly around here too so if you want to listen to some music I will let you know where I am playing, or who else might be.

A good friend of mine runs a river rafting and bicycle touring company (mention you are staying here for a discount), and if you want to rent kayaks, surfboards, paddle boards, or beach cruiser bikes, I know place that does that too. Let me know if you are planning activities like that and I will get you the contact info. I have an extra surfboard or two as well.

If you are not just passing through, staying two nights might be something to consider. It takes a while to get here if you are coming in from Portland or the Bay Area, and there are a lot of very nice places to visit so having a full day to do some exploring is a good idea, just a thought though, and quite a few of my guests have wished they would have done that once they saw that the trees and beaches here are like nothing else.

A tiny house cottage set in a garden amongst the redwoods, surrounded by rhodies, maples, birch and apple trees. Beautiful in all seasons. The cottage is foam insulated and thus very quiet for a good night's sleep. I use fragrance free detergent on linens. The space
You’ll be on one acre with a fire pit, hammock and yoga area amidst the redwoods. The cottage is spacious and spotless. The loft is not suitable for children. Plenty of parking area if you are towing a trailer, etc. Luggage cart for ease in moving belongings to the cottage.

Guest access
You'll have a large area to access: outdoor yoga platform, fire pit, and other outdoor seating areas. Part of the acreage was recently cleared so you can enjoy 'forest bathing' under a canopy of redwoods.

Other things to note
If you're a coffee aficionado, you can leave your equipment in the car. I provide a Chemex, Aeropress, French press and grinder. Beans from a local roaster are also provided for your enjoyment.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. The beautiful Smith river is a heartbeat away with it's pristine, crystal clear blue waters. The Pacific ocean is about 5 miles away and you can hear it at night. You will be camping in the Redwoods with clean, fresh air. The town of Crescent City is 10 miles away and the quaint town of Brookings oregon is about 15 miles north. There is no street noise and no street lights. We are in the country on 2 acres of beautifully landscaped yard.

This cozy little get away is perfectly comfortable for your next visit to the redwoods or to check out the ocean. The Wildflower Hideaway is a retreat that’s tucked away form the stressors of your day to day. You’ll relax, unwind, and enjoy this space that’s all your own. The Del Norte Golf Course is located on the same street. Peacock river bar is a short walk, bike, or car ride away. Enjoy the warm and sunny Hiouchi area for your vacation!

The space
This space is located close to Peacock Bar on the Smith River which is a fun swimming area and easy biking from the house. We are off of HWY 197 which is between highway 199 and highway 101. Directly across the street, from the main house, is the Del Norte Golf Course which has a large open field where deer and Rosevelt Elk sometimes graze in the early morning.
The guesthouse is set back from the main house about 100 feet and has a separate enclosed backyard and driveway. Wheelchairs are welcome, there are no steps, the walkway has a gradual slope leading up the the doorway and it is all one level inside.
Living quarters:
The master has a four poster King bed and a very large closet. The living room and kitchen are one space with an island that has seating for two. The bathroom is located down the hall leading to the second bedroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed. This room does NOT have a door. Crescent city is known for the beautiful coast and this apartment is where you want to be! Walk to the beach in less than 2 minutes. This cozy apartment is right on the Pebble Beach Drive where you can go agate hunting, go for a long walk, and see amazing sunsets.

This unit is close to town. The apartment has bedrooms with two queen size beds, a kitchen, bathroom and laundry! All utilities are included with this monthly rental.

Enjoy a stylish but cozy cottage that is over 100 years old. Totally renovated with most modern conveniences, at this centrally-located place near downtown. Quiet neighborhood close to everything. Grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, Beach Front Park, the light house and the Harbor. All within walking distance. This is one of the oldest districts in Crescent City with craftsman style and Victorian houses. Charming. Bring your bikes, we have some great bike paths.

The space
The house is on the front portion of the lot. We have not gotten to the back portion yet. We will eventually place another unit back there, but you have your own fenced, and private back yard and a huge back porch.
