The living area downstairs is huge, but very formal, however, the sitting area upstairs is also large and has more comfortable seating. The bathrooms were all very nice and clean as well. The patio seating is wonderful and covered with a large awning, which made it great for sitting outside even during the warmest part of the day. The pool is simply fabulous, with a shallow end and a deep end, and easy entry stairs as well as a ladder. I should add, though, that the jacuzzi is in the swimming pool, not a separate hot water jacuzzi. The gardens are some of the most beautiful I've seen in my life and the gardener came every day to tend them; he was respectful of our wishes to work out front when we were swimming, etc (for privacy) and is clearly very proud of his work! For us, the best features of this villa are the privacy and the absolute quiet in the area. We didn't hear a car honk it's horn for four days and enjoyed the stars overhead every night.
