The best being the shower is now enclosed with glass walls and door. Pictures show a toaster but there was none. If we would have asked I am sure Helena would have supplied one. Description is a little off on distance to beach. More like 500 meters but it certainly beats the 1000+ kilometers to get to the nearest ocean from home. Great location to buses. Most bus drivers speak English so easy to communicate needs. Helena was very helpful in ordering a taxi for us for our return to the airport. - "This property is absolutely lovely. Everything was very clean, and the rooms are light and spacious. The teenagers thought the pool was great. The outside daybed is perfect for chilling and reading. The whole property is fenced off which makes it feel very secure. You can walk to the beach from the property… 20-30 minutes, but ubers and buses are very easy to use, so we chose to make use of those. The hosts are super helpful, and gave us lots of information about the buses, local restaurants, beaches and how to get there.. and also where to buy the bus tickets from, because it wasn’t obvious! If we were to visit this area again, I would definitely stay here. I only dropped one star rating for the listing, because we realised that the Portuguese listing and the English listing are different. The English listing suggests that you have access to all five bedrooms, which isn’t the case. Despite that, would recommend this property."

- "The property was fantastic. Clean, large spaces, enough bedrooms for everyone to choose from. The outdoor space was terrific. Large pool with enough sunbeds for everyone. We had 17 people with us - so had BBQ two nights using the outdoor grill and outdoor dining. Large enough table indoors too for family dining. Beautiful spaces and everything was super clean and modern - a perfect stay away. The manager was able to be contacted through WhatsApp and she always replied very quickly - most of my questions were before I arrived, we settled right in when we got there. If you arrive early with lots of luggage, as the villa doesn't allow check in until 4 - use some of the bag safe shops in Lisbon whete you can store your bags safely while you grab a bite to eat or explore the area. Shop, cafe and one of tge best Portuguese restaurants literally one street away. You must try O Julios for both morning coffee and lunch - the best meals duringbour whole stay - we went there three times in one week! Beautiful beaches and Ubers are super quick and cheap to use for transport if you don't want to walk. The local shop has all your essentials- the family who own it are delightful- they will helo you with anything! The best bit about the location of this villa is that you wont see another tourist nearby - everything around you is very local and everyone is so welcoming. Uber to Lisbon Airport is just under 30 euros for an XXL. You will love your stay!"

- "We had a wonderful stay. Ian was an attentive host and quick to reply. Upon arrival, he took us to the supermarket, since we had no car, to buy what we needed to have during our stay. I asked why there were no basics and he explained that to ensure hygiene he does not keep even basic spices. The beds were firm and the bathrooms (4 of them) were all equipped with showers and toilets. This was very convenient as we were 4 adults meeting for a writing retreat. Uber can readily pick you up, but dropping you off can be a challenge. Ian was accessible to give directions and from then on, we knew how to instruct drivers too. We would absolutely stay here again due to its seclusion. If you are staying here as a get away for Lisbon, be prepared for traffic on the bridge or to take a train or ferry across the water. For us the location was perfect and the host was very kind and helpful. Enjoy your stay!"

A pleasant detached house, with great natural light, located just a short walk (100 m) from the beach and on a quiet and safe street (it’s behind the police station but you never know!). The location it’s ideal to go surfing, go to the beach and visit Lisbon (only a 25-min drive). It’s on walkable distance from restaurants, supermarkets and public transportation.
Because the host is a bad photographer the house it’s better than the photos and has: a living room, five bedrooms, a full kitchen, a master bathroom, a full bathroom, a powder room, a small garden and a barbecue.
