Villa Chloe is located within the luxury Country Club resort of Praia D'el Rey. The resort sits atop the fabulous Atlantic Ocean with the most amazing beach and ocean views and is set in the pine trees. The resort offers two of Portugal's premier golf courses (voted the 9th best golfing resort in Continental Europe 2018/2019 and Westcliff golf course accolades are even better). The villa is in a quiet part of the resort and in a great location. It is only 5 mins walk from the clubhouse and tennis centre and 3 mins drive or 10 mins walk from the beautiful private long sandy beach.
Villa Chloe is decorated and furnished to a high standard. It has 3 large bedrooms, with the master bedroom on the first floor with a balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. There is a large family bathroom with bath, shower and bidet on the first floor and the third bedroom with twin beds is also on the first floor. The second bedroom on the ground floor has an en suite with a bath, shower and bidet. The living room has a large 'L' shaped sofa which provides ample space for 6 people, french doors leading out to a fabulous garden room and a separate dining room which also has french doors leading out to the garden. This is a family orientated space with flat screen TV, free WiFi, Playstation with games library and DVD with DVD library. The kitchen is well equipped with a granite work top and has all the appliances that you would want including a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, coffee machine.

- "Firstly I would like to say thank you to Helmut as the communication has been first class with all the changes around COVID. The villa is in a great area for families and golfers as the villa is a 5 min walk to the practice area and first tee through the gated complex. Really impressed with the villa, exactly as it says in the description and very clean and with modern tech around the house. You will def need a hire car to get around as taxi's can be expensive if you dine outside of the local area, although recommend eating at nearby Obidos and surrounding places. Welcome pack was very nice with basics and very detailed information pack about the villa and what to do. One information missing - Would have been good to get some taxi numbers in the pack but the nearby hotel / clubhouse has these too. Main golf courses - West Cliff and Royal Obidos is around 10-15 mins drive which both are great courses and Praia Del Rey walking distance from the villa. Located in a small hamlet in a rural area on a hillside, this wonderful villa benefits from marvellous countryside views. This recent all ground floor villa has a comfortable living room, a dining area, french windows to the terrace. The kitchen is well equipped, and there are three bedrooms, one en-suite shower room and a further bathroom. Outside the garden has pretty flowers beds, and next to the pool there is a porch with comfortable chairs and a dining table near a built-in barbecue, perfect for a alfresco dining. Praia del Rey Golf and Beach Resort is a resort with a beautiful golf course. Villa Ninho dos Corvos is a 5-minute walk from the clubhouse. The linens all smelled fresh and were white , so clean . The kitchen was the most well-stocked kitchen of any VRBO home that I have ever rented and I’ve rented plenty. The backyard was private and finished beautifully . The pool was warm (29c) so they really heat it and it’s comfortable . The location is just a 15 minute stroll down to the expansive beach and lagoon along with a few very nice restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet with a few more people occupying homes over the weekend- there were less people during the weekdays. Driving down to the castle was about 15 minutes where there were so many wonderful shops and restaurants as well. The location is absolutely prime. We visited Sinatra, flew in and out of Lisbon. The owner and the manager are two different people. The owner is a little bit more responsive than the manager but they are getting a system down as they learn the ins and outs of being VRBO members and there weee no issues - We did not want to mess with the streaming apps on the tv because we thought it might be rude to do so , which meant we could not watch tv (owners have it set all in French ) We were not given any instructions whatsoever (how things work , where to find things , etc ). The owner and manager could really do with writing up some basics for incoming guests going forward . The immediate area is a hidden gem and this house is definitely worth staying in . If we weren’t buying a home of our own in the neighborhood we would surely return without hesitation ."

THE VILLA
Our detached villa is an attractive modern, bright and spacious home which is new to rental market. The property has been designed to be in perfect harmony with its surroundings; warm shades of terracotta and pastel shade furnishings that echo the typical style of Portuguese interior architecture.

There is a large sitting room which is ideal for the whole to relax. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and dining room which is suitable for any family or large group staying at the villa. There are two separate French patio doors opening out from the sitting room to the sunny poolside. Outside there is a solar heated pool, beautiful landscaped garden, dining tables and sunbeds where guests can dine, relax and soak up the sunshine.

There are 4 large bedrooms (sleeping 8 comfortably) with 3 ensuite. The ground floor has two bedrooms, one with twin beds (and cots if required) while the second is a large ensuite double bedroom with French patio doors opening out to the poolside. In addition, there is a family bathroom on the ground floor.

Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms. The very spacious master bedroom, with a king sized bed, has French patio doors opening onto a large balcony overlooking the pool with spectacular views of the golf course and the sea. It also has a dressing room area and a large bathroom (bath and shower), double his/her vanity sinks, bidet and separate wc. The second bedroom is a double room with ample wardrobe space and an ensuite and access to the balcony with a seaview. We also have a study upstairs with beautiful views of the sea while you work or relax. The large balcony can used for relation or drinks with views of the golf course and sea.

THE RESORT
Praia del Rey is located on the Portuguese western coastline 100km north of Lisbon. This stunning coastline has beautiful sandy beaches and an area of protected natural landscapes. The local villages are unspoilt and visitors are welcomed by the local community. There are ample restaurants catering to everyone's taste from fine dining to casual good value wholesome local fresh cuisine.

Our villa is situated in this five star Marriott resort which boasts magnificent sporting and relaxation amenities for families, groups and individuals.
The Praia del Rey 18 hole par 72 links golf course (designed by the American architect Cabell B. Robinson) presents tremendous challenges for both the advanced golfer and high-handicapped player. This magnificent golf course is considered to be one of the finest in Europe. Some of the fairways offer stunning sea views over the Portuguese Atlantic coastline while others provide a variety of challenges to keep the golfing enthusiasts coming back again and again!
There are a number of additional golf courses within a few minutes drive. Royal Obidos (designed by Seve Ballesteros), West Cliffs Links Cousrse and Bom Sucesso Golf Course are 18 hole championship courses.

There is a tennis club within a few minutes walk from the villa. The tennis academy provides seven courts and equipment may be hired in the clubhouse. There is coaching available for adults and kids during the summer months.
Praia del Rey resort also provides a range of activities such as childrens' play grounds, walking and cycling tracks, magnificent spa treatments, gym facilities and yoga to keep all the family occupied during their stay in Praia del Rey.

Within a 10 minute drive windsurfing and sailing is available in Obidos at the lagoon. There is also a large surfing community with lessons available and equipment hire in nearby Baleal. Karting is also available in Baleal and there is a water slide park in Peniche.

Casa Vista Airosa has beautiful views over the landscape and the Lagoa of Obidos.
The house is ideal for a family that wants to go on holiday with grandparents or for two families. There is a bedroom and bathroom downstairs. On the first floor there are three more bedrooms and two bathrooms. A cot and high chair are available. The beds have good mattresses and duvets (partly down).
The (closed) kitchen is fully equipped and equipped with all large (washing machine, dishwasher and fridge-freezer combination) and small electrical appliances. The living room has a spacious dining table with 8 comfortable chairs, a sofa and two armchairs. Reading material, board games and TV are available. There is free WIFI.

From the house you can walk straight into the fields, where a lot of fruit is grown. For walking enthusiasts, the municipality has set out several short and longer routes in the area around Obidos, including the village of Sobral da Lagoa. There is a shop/cafe in the village, where you can buy fresh rolls and fruit and vegetables every day, but you can also do other daily shopping here.
There is much to do in the area for active holidaymakers, young and old. There are several golf courses nearby. You can sail, SUP, surf and canoe on the lagoon. Lessons can be taken at Escola da Vela in Nadadouro, among others. There is also surfing on the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Popular surfing beaches can be found in Peniche, Baleal and Nazaré.
Foz do Arelho is a child-friendly seaside resort. The beach on the lagoon is safe and large, making it a nice place for those seeking peace and quiet. There are many eateries along the boulevard. For the older children: remains of dinosaurs have been found near Lourinha and a park has been created with life-size replicas. Dino Parque Lourinha (dinoparque.pt). For water park enthusiasts: you can go to Peniche and Nazaré.
There are also two mountain areas nearby, the Serra d' Aire e Candeeiros, where caves can be visited, and the Serra de Montejunto. Walking routes have been set out in both areas.
Nice towns to visit are nearby: Obidos, Nazaré, Alcobaça and Caldas da Rainha are definitely worth a visit. Lisbon can be reached within an hour by car and can also be reached quickly by bus from Obidos. For culture lovers, a visit to the city is highly recommended. There is very little noise nuisance, particularly during the 2 summer months (July and August) when activity is reduced.

Work in the area is stopped from Friday noon to Monday morning.
