When the cleaning company came I asked if they can close all windows before they leave and they did not, so more bugs entered. I have also called the management team to assist with the house not having hot water and they said they would send someone to take a look and no one showed up; I did not have hot water at the property for over a week. It wasn’t until one day I was leaving to go to work, and I found the owner of the house working on the yard in the property, unannounced visit, who ended up assisting me with the hot water issue. This beautiful house, built in the 1930s, was completely renovated in 2016. It is a designer house with a new interior, but with all the charm of a traditional Portuguese house. Every detail has been made with LOVE. It is located in the Banzão-Colares pine forest (Sintra), in a very private and safe area, surrounded by the beauty of Sintra forest. Wonderful beaches and many historical sites are very close. You can walk or cycle on the beach.
This two story house can accommodate 11 guests with every comfort. The first floor has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The second floor has three more bedrooms and two bathrooms. Three crib or infant beds are available upon request. There are two living rooms (one with smart tv), a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen.
The doors are open to the living room, with garden furniture, an outdoor dining table and chairs, a kitchen near the barbecue, surrounding a beautiful pool (8 X 4 Mts) WITH FENCE PROTECTION, with 8 sun loungers + 4 garden chairs with towels.
Heated pool on request (Pool heating: EUR 25 extra charge per day). Pool heating depends on weather conditions - usually possible from April until October.
We have an additional bike rental service. It's great to go to the beach and restaurants by bike.

The village is spread up the hill from the Atlantic Ocean. Adraga beach, was ranked as one of the 20 perfect European beaches’ by the Sunday Times.

The property composed of a villa with 300 sqm and land with 8000 sqm is located in a protected area in the Natural Park of Sintra Cascais. The access is very easy and although there are other houses in the area, there is total privacy. The location of the property is excellent since it is 5 mn away from Praia Grande and Praia da Adraga and of a small village that has all we need, supermarket, pharmacy, small clinic, hairdresser, butcher, fresh fish, groceries coffee shops etc a5 minutes away from the Sintra Historic Center where you can visit all the historic Sintra monuments classified by Unesco as world heritage and 15 minutes away from the center of Cascais and Guinch Beach. Lisbon is just 30 mn away.
The house is very well decorated. It has 5 bedrooms (with double beds) of which 3 are ensuite bedrooms. The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. The bedrooms have french windows to the garden. All beds have comfortable mattresses and 100% cotton sheets. Bath towels and beach towels of excellent quality are also provided. There is a big living room with comfortable sofás that through big glass sliding doors leads directly to the garden, to an exterior area with 12 seats and tables for outside lunch, dinner or breakfast. The house has a dining room with 12 seats and a big table. The TV room has two comfortable sofas, the TV is a flat screen and there is cable TV. All the house has an excellent view to the garden, sea and mountain. At night one can see the light from the Cabo da Roca light house . The house is surrounded by a big lawned garden where there is a heated pool fenced for safety of small children. The kitchen is modern and is fully equipped with all that is necessary to cook.
