Only 10 mn drive to the protected coast line and beaches of Guincho, Adraga, Azenhas do Mar and the lighthouse at Cabo da Roca, most westerly point of Europe. ONE OF THE MOST DRAMATIC TRAIN RIDES IN EUROPE follows the coast into the heart of Lisbon in just 30 mins.

Further deck up stairs (fenced) with awning, sun chairs, barbecue & large tables to feast in sunshine or for dinner (electric lights also)! Cascais is walking distance (10-15 mins on foot), Estoril 5 minutes by car. Coastal train ride to Lisbon is 35 minutes (shopping & culture), Sintra mountains (hikes and castles) 20 minutes, Guincho beach (

Surfers Paradise), 15 minutes. Good night life can be found locally or in Lisbon.

- "We spent a lovely week in Cascais in August. Bruno was a welcoming and responsive host ensuring our stay was relaxed and stress free from arrival to departure. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor facilities - the covered kitchen area was a big hit as well as the pool and garden. Children had lots to occupy them between swimming/sunbathing and the games room - was sometimes hard to drag them out! There is lots of other communal space indoors as well, so overall the property is great for spending time together with a large group while also allowing adults and kids to have some separate space too. Kitchen is well appointed (hard to remember where to put everything!) The house is in a quiet neighborhood a bit removed from the centre of Cascais. While we walked to Praia do Guincho with teenagers, this would be a bit far for smaller children, so access to a car or using bus/taxis is needed. We enjoyed being able to return to peace and tranquility after busy days out. Would definitely recommend."

- "The rental was spacious and reasonably clean. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and Estoril beach. We loved the Brazilian restaurant nearby! The courtyard space was a nice bonus. It is next to an open space, so very quiet and pleasant. The only real complaint was the pre-check-in process. The ad said there would be a security deposit, but didn't specify that it would be paid outside of the VRBO app. This was a surprise, and I'm still not comfortable with it. I don't know when the deposit will be considered fully released or what the process will be if there's a dispute. I ended up chatting for a while with VRBO support to ensure that the 3rd party being used for security deposit escrow was legitimate. Immediately after check-in, we were required to take pics of any pre-existing damage. This really dampened our satisfaction with the space, since we spent the first 30 minutes there searching for everything wrong with it and sending pics. I understand that damage to properties is a problem, but this really detracts from the VRBO experience. Made me wish I'd booked a hotel instead. "

The villa is located in the heart of Estoril. Once you pull into the private, gated entrance, you will spot a blue jewel from the 1920s. The terracotta roof and hand-painted tiles are charming, classic details. The house is 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, it has a private office perfect for the work-at-home crowd, and a family room on third floor that can easily be converted into a bedroom for extra guests. On the ground floor there is an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area. There is also a full bathroom and washer/dryer located on this floor. The second floor as the primary bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a 180 cm bed (king) cloaked in linen bedding made right here in Portugal. There is plenty of closet space, even though all you will need is your bathing suit and flip flops! The second bedroom has a 90 cm bed (twin) with an additional 90 cm mattress that roles right out from under the bed. The third bedroom has 2, 90 cm beds that can easily be converted into 1, 180 cm bed (king) depending on your needs. There is a 2nd bathroom to service these two bedrooms. The third floor of the house is the family and TV room. There is 75 inch HDTV, a piano, and lots of toys, books, and games for the kids. This floor also has a game/art table set up for family gatherings and creative projects. In this room, there is a comfortable, Innovative Living Sleeper Sofa that easily converts into a 160 cm bed (queen) and a full bathroom. On a sunny day you can soak in the rays from the top floor terrace or peek down and watch the kids running around the courtyard. The exterior of the house is graced with a big, beautiful palm tree, and small tropical garden, a lounging area, a Weber Grill, and a dining table for 10. There is room in the front of the house for 1 car and a few scooters or bikes.
This is our personal home that we live in with our 3 children year-round. We purchased the home in the fall of 2022 and it was love at first sight. Casa Azul has the perfect combination of urban conveniences and suburban, relaxed energy. While it is not a grand estate, as you may also find in Estoril, it is a stone's throw to the Ocean and boardwalk which feels like our own backyard. We love the juxtaposition of vibrancy and seclusion of the area. Since this is our private home we have furnished the home with a quality of furnishings and amenities that you will not find in typical rentals and hope that you will appreciate all of the effort we make to ensure that Casa Azul is a splendid beach retreat for you! We also want to let you know that the municipality of Cascais requires that we collect the passport number and information for each guest staying in the home as well as a 2 Euro per person nightly fee.
