We were lucky to find Linden 1. In the beginning we stayed in Linden 2 for a few weeks. Both rentals are part of a beautiful, old, renovated, Piemontese casina with a lovely front and back garden. The property is an L shaped house divided in several parts. They are all independent with separate entrances. Linden 1 is a fully functional house with 3 comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, a little but fully equipped kitchen and a living room. There is a lovely, covered area outdoor for meals al fresco, in front of the living room. It is an authentic Italian house with lots of period features, which the owners also use for own stay. The house can be rented for shorter periods as well. The house is situated in Revigliasco, which is a quiet, little old village in the hills about 15 min drive from Turin. It is set in forested area, bathing in pure, fresh air with great views of the rolling hills and Alps at the backdrop. It has a bakery, grocery shop, a butcher, a pharmacy and last but not least, two fantastic well known restaurants, one of which is situated opposite of the front door of the property. A stroll in the village is particularly enjoyable in the early morning when on the clear day, one can enjoy the views of nearby Alps. The property owner, Claudia, was fantastic and very helpful with all of our queries, such as : where to buy bread or how to get to the doctor. We communicated in our basic Italian although Claudia speaks perfect English. Claudia was always prompt to reply and always did her best to accommodate our requests. We were so lucky to find this lovely house and stay here for a few months before finding a more permanent stay. We can highly recommend it to anyone for shorter or longer holiday. It is recommended to have a car with which you can reach the villa in a few minutes from Piazza Freguglia, Cavoretto, follow a sinuous road for 1500 meters that will take you to the 600 meter high villa where you can breathe the pure and without smog air of the hill of Turin.
From the villa, in 5-10 minutes you can reach Piazza Zara (free parking) or Piazza Carducci (for a fee and display parking). From there, in 10-15 minutes by bus or subway, you can reach the city center and the main tourist, cultural, commercial and commercial sites of the city.
We are able to provide contacts for transfers to and from the city for our guests who do not have a car or who do not wish to use their own.
The villa is 10 minutes by car from the Lingotto exhibition center and 15-20 minutes from the railway stations and the highway. In an hour and a half by car or train you can reach the main ski and mountain resorts in Piedmont (Sestriere, Bardonecchia, Sauze d'Oulx, etc.) or in Valle d'Aosta Courmayeur, Gressoney, Cervinia, etc.) . HELPFUL TIPS
You need to take the car to get to the nearest grocery stores or supermarkets.
In Piazza Freguglia you can find a very well-served shop for food and detergents (opening hours 8:30 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 19:30). The shop is closed on Wednesday afternoon and Sunday.
There are two supermarkets within 10 minutes drive of the villa.
Once down the hill, immediately after crossing the river on the right is the Pam supermarket (Corso Bramante 93), opening hours: every day from 9:00 to 21:00. Going straight on, crossing the bridge over the railway, always right you will find a Carrefour supermarket (Corso Turati 75) open all day.

Casa Aiva is part of the big house we have been living in since 2010, when this place fascinated us with its hilltop location, enchanting view and the profound sense of well-being it conveys.
Aiva means Water, like the precious spring on the property, but it also stands for Air - clean (we are 500 metres above sea level); Enchantment - of a panorama stretching from Turin to the Cuneo area; Holiday - relaxing, in contact with nature and in a sustainable environment; Agriculture - with wine, jams and honey.

The furnishings are well cared for and biocompatible with ecological materials that respect the environment and health. It enjoys absolute privacy and an independent entrance.
It consists of a bedroom, large bathroom, equipped kitchen, living room and veranda dining room. It can accommodate up to 5 persons (+ 1 infant - up to 1 year old).
The bedroom consists of a large double bed with wooden slats and latex mattress and two armchair beds, which can also be placed in the living room, as required.
The living room is equipped with a double sofa bed and satellite TV.
The bathroom is furnished in chestnut wood and equipped with a shower with a glass shower stall, washbasin, bidet and toilet.
If you like to cook... here you will find good equipment: 5-burner cooker, electric oven, microwave, kettle.
The dining room has a large table, but it is also possible to eat on the patio outside, under the pergola.

The flat does not have air conditioning, as the summer days, even the hottest ones, are always pleasantly breezy and the climate quite dry, a condition that keeps mosquitoes quite far away (the bedroom has a mosquito net anyway).

From June to August the house is reserved for adults only, to ensure a relaxing atmosphere, and you can use the swimming pool, shared with possible guests of the 'Ciabutin', a cottage in the vineyard that accommodates a maximum of 2 people.

We have an elderly dog, his name is Leo, and we always take care that he does not disturb our guests (during the day he normally stays in his garden).

We managed with our 12 yr old on a single sofa bed with us in the double bed main bedroom. And a teenager and adult in a double sofa bed and single bed in the living room. One point to note is the advert and price is for 4 people so it’s extra for a 5th person. Bathroom (spacious clean and lovely with washing machine) - only the one bathroom but we managed. Pool is lovely - temperature was always fine. Lovely mountain views - it is much cooler in the evenings. Drove to Turin markets a few times and Pinerolo market. Also did some energetic mountain walks locally. Convenient for supermarkets too so easy enough to shop. Had some tasty meals in the local restaurant (fish speciality) too. Very detailed informative folder by the owners in places to visit etc which we found very useful. Al in all, an excellent relaxing place to stay. "
