Walk to everything, lots of bars with live music, lots of shops, lovely pier to stroll on, and right across the street from the beach! Pool clean and uncrowded. The noise from the stereos of the cars and motorcycles were annoying, but expected. We just didn't think bikers liked Black-Eyed Peas so much to blast them on their Harley stereos. It made us laugh, so thanks bikers. We had a clean room, with enough amenities to make this a more-than-satisfactory stay. The parking attendants were a great source of information, as well as always polite and courteous. In regards to the beaches, the local beach access was not crowded by any means. There are more "hot spot" beaches to access up and down the island, but during the Covid pandemic, we didn't want it to be a part of the spread. One beach that is not at all crowded was at Bean Point. Go there to get away from the crowds, and enjoy some ocean life. Plenty of schools of fish, and some starfish, to see. Starfish are most likely covered in the sand under the shallow waters, so you may get lucky to see one, as we did. It slowly buried itself in the sand beneath, which was cool to see. Most restaurants had a 1-2 hour wait, with few having reservations. We ordered to-go from Wicked Cantina to save on time for one meal. Daiquiri Deck was good, and had great service. Bamboo Island Bar had great food and drinks, and excellent service, worthy of date night. Some restaurants we avoided as not all staff wore masks. Great vacation spot. We'll be back! Thanks!"
