- "Excellent. I am in Florida for disaster relief. No other hotels available. The owner made sure I had a place to stay and helped with anything needed. Yes, you are staying on a boat however, they make sure you are able to get to your car at whatever time to make it to work at whatever time day or night with free overnight parking. I was a little skeptical at first with it being off of land and out of the ordinary but they made sure it was accommodating for me. They provided disaster relief free food and water. Electricity usage is ran off of a generator and a battery which is more than the hotel I had to pay double for which had no electricity. There are multiple boats with other guests that are being accommodated with as well. This is really something I suggest people to give it a try. I am booking the next week. After you meet the crew you will understand how working hard people despite of the hurricane put all of their needs second to assist people they haven’t even met yet. Pay it forward people! We would like everyone to read the description of the property prior to boarding. Once you have booked, we will need a email address to send over attachments prior to boarding the boats. The attachments will need to be signed and dated with everyone who will be boarding the boat. We understand guests like to have friends and family visit throughout their stay, however, they will need to sign the attachments as well. This is a MUST, and we need to be notified every passenger on the boat at all times for safety reasons of the vessel and being in compliance with the USCG.
WAIVER: The waiver needs to be signed by every person (s) who will be boarding the boat, even If they do not stay overnight, this is a MUST. Please screen shot a photo from your phone and sign the document as stated, and email it back to TheSailorPark@Gmail.Com PRIOR to boarding. If there is anyone under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must sign the child’s name and you must sign your name next to theirs and note on the waiver if you are a parent or guardian. This is a MUST. We highly recommend bringing your own children’s life jackets to for their specific size. WATER TAXI: The water taxi is a third party service that has agreed to assist the guests upon request. We have NO partnership with the company, however if you pre pay through us, we will order for you during your stay and a discount will be applied for their services through us. The times of pick up may not be exactly the time initially booked due to the tides, weather, wind, ect. PLEASE BE PATIENT, we will get to you, I promise!

The boats come with a safety escape for all passengers, which is either a blow up raft, kayak,
Or dhingy, depending on the boat you are staying on. We do not permit switching around the Safety escape of dhingys, kayaks, ect. as they are suited for that specific boat. So please, refer to our rentals listed above and we will accommodate you.
*Ask about our kayak tours around the mangroves!
* You will be guaranteed to see a dolphin or two during your trip!
We highly recommended you bringing the items you will need, not necessarily what you
want. A cooler with ice is highly recommended.
We provide the basic essentials like Silverware, plates, cups, linens. Everything else will need to be requested or brought with you.
Please make it known to notify us if something is needed during your stay, so we are able to assist you as soon as possible.
PARKING is on a first come first serve basis on Anna Maria Island. Side streets allow you to overnight park. We have no control over parking or any tickets received. **If you park at the NORTH COCQUINA BOAT RAMP, you MUST leave a note on your car with your phone number, full name along with writing, “We are out in the Bay overnight this evening, overnight parking is permitted” (Name, Phone number, License Plate Number.)
Please call the day of your arrival with confirmation regarding your stay and an ETA at the NORTH COCQUINA BOAT RAMP on Anna Maria Island. I will then forward your number over to the water taxi service whom will pick you up initially and maneuver you to the booked sailboat.
*You will receive a $75.00 parking ticket if you fail to place the note in your dashboard
*Just a friendly reminder, you will be on a boat in the bay! We are NOT at a marina. Showers run off of a solar powered 5 gallon hanging bag that is used for camping to rinse off.
ELECTRICITY : If your boat rental runs off of a GENERATOR, You are able to pre pay for gas after you use the 5 gallons of gas provided to you at no extra charge. We charge $25.00 for 5 gallons (which is what the generator holds) and should last you approximately 12 hours, depending on your usage. You do not need to run the generator continuously.
If your boat does not have a generator, the battery usage needs to be limited as well. If the battery happens to die, please let myself or my staff made aware; and we will bring you a freshly charged one.
***FYI: We place all of our guests on a specific boat according to the boats we feel would suit you best. Unless you have specifically requested a certain boat and have paid extra, we will place you on an available boat we feel will suit you and how many guests are in your party.**
Also, as the waiver states we do not administer refunds, unless NOAA has issued a warning for hazardous weather related to Tropical storm or a hurricane. However, if you refer back to the signed waiver, our cancellation policy will allow you to book at a later time if your initial reservation was not fulfilled.
Please note that we are not held responsible for items left on the boat. The rental of the boats is at your own risk and weather permitting. We advise you to download the app *WIND FINDER*. This is a great reference with wind and the tide changes.
Per The Sailor Parks discretion, we will notify you if the boats are not safe to board, a change to a future date will then need to be scheduled. Absolutely NO exceptions.
*Patience is key on the boats- we are on Florida time, as I would like to say. 😊

You have it all in this location...beach, bay, pool, shuffleboard, all in a fun atmosphere. 55 plus community so no nonsense neighbors! Walk to beach, lounge by the bay, sit by the pool or play shuffleboard...you have it all. This is just across the street from the b beaches of Bradenton Beach, public access. We have boat docks, fire pit, pool that is directly in front, heated pool and more.
