- "We hebben een heel gezellige week gehad. Het chalet is wel behoorlijk bedaagd, de keuken is behelpen, het bestek is oud en beperkt, er zijn geen snijplankjes, wel een grote uitschuifbare snijplank waar het dan allemaal maar op moest gebeuren, van brood snijden tot vlees snijden, het is lastig koken voor een grote groep, er zijn 4 electrische pitten en 2 gaspitten, waarvan één het niet doet, de afwasmachine is een oude hotelafwasser met een gebruiksaanwijzing, hij doet het wel goed trouwens, maar het zieter niet uit. Je zakt soms door het bed omdat de latjes niet stevig genoeg zijn (in ben trouwens niet dik). Ze liggen wel lekker trouwens. De weg er naar toe is behoorlijk stijl, hoe dat moet met veel sneeuw op de weg is de vraag. De leefruimte is heel fijn, een deel om te eten, daar zaten de kinderen 's avonds spelletjes te doen, een een deel om te loungen. Al met al toch een heel positieve ervaring"

Located in the stylish and friendly ski resort of Champery, which will provide you with everything you need for a great winter escape. The apartment enjoys a peaceful location with stunning mountain views from the large south facing balcony (3x6m) to the rear of the property.

The open plan living area is light, airy and spacious, providing a great place to relax after a day out in the fresh air. The dining table is large so there is plenty of room to eat and laugh about your skiing adventures of the day. The kitchen is also part of the main room so you will never feel isolated when you are preparing meals.

The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, fitted wardrobes and drawers with french doors that open onto the balcony. The second bedroom also has wardrobes and drawers with a double bed. There is a shower room with toilet, shower and basin and a bathroom with two basins and that all important bath for when only a relaxing soak will do. There is also a private ski locker to hold your all important skis and snowboards and an outdoor parking space to the front of the building.

The apartment is ideal located as the ski bus stops right outside and you can choose whether to go towards the cable car or in the opposite direction to the chairlift at Grand Paradis. My apartment has a super charm, in addition it is very local. Only one minute away from the supermarket and the cable car gondola. My apartment is very nicely furnished and also very bright. The bedrooms are big enough and you have a lot of space to store your clothes. The apartment has 3 balconies with beautiful views into the mountains. An outside parking space is also available. The tourist taxes are included in the price.

The ski locker (or any other equipment) is located outside, to the left of the main entrance, north of the chalet. The key is hanging inside, on the main door frame. A shoe cabinet is also available in the entrance hall. Your ski boots can dry there.

By car:
1.5 hours from Geneva and Bern airports, 1 hour from Lausanne and only 20 minutes from exit no. 18 at St-Triphon near Monthey on the A9 motorway. From Monthey, take route 21 to reach Troistorrents, Val-d'Illiez and Champéry.

By train:
2.5 hours from Geneva airport, 3 hours from Bern and 1.5 hours from Lausanne. With the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) line, the Dents du Midi region is just a stone's throw from Lausanne as well as Sion and Geneva airports. From Aigle, the AOMC regional train (Aigle - Ollon - Monthey - Champéry) will take you to your destination.
