Welcome to our vineyard - our piece of paradise in the Ferguson Valley.
After sixteen years of trading on weekends selling our wines, cakes and coffee we decided to close and create this lovely two person private stay with all the comforts you require to enjoy this magic area.

There is a brewery just 400 metres across the road and wineries - two within walking distance - all around with foods for you to enjoy - with many activities to discover in this exciting area. Featuring three hundred meters away is the Ferguson Valley mountain bike course for those athletic persons!

This private and separate dwelling with the outdoor area having a BBQ for entertaining set in a quaint garden setting. Inside is a queen bed with fresh linen, towels and a beautiful appointed bathroom.

Our bar area has been reconfigured into cute kitchenette featuring a microwave, kettle, toaster. The dining area has views over the vineyard with the lounge area featuring leather lounge suites for your comfort, TV, DVD central heating / cooling and all the general condiments you require for tea and coffee, and many more little efforts to make this a holiday experience unforgettable!

Tallowwood Apartment is fully self-contained and private. Under the main roof but separate to the main house where we live (on the opposite end), Our location is on the edge of Donnybrook in a rural residential neighbourhood. There are paths so you can walk to the town centre which is 1.5kms away.
You're welcome to bring your friendly pet with you, and 2 x children 12 & under if they're house trained! We have a Tibetan Spaniel named Teddy who loves everyone (after he's had a good bark at them!).

The space
The apartment measures approx 100 m2 of internal floor space.
The bedroom is full size and has an adjoining ensuite.
There is a small family room as you walk through the front door (location of the sofa bed), which then leads into the main living area. An oversize laundry runs off that area, and the large fully equipped kitchen overlooks the backyard of the property. There are two toilets, one in the ensuite, the other in the laundry.

Guest access
The entire apartment is yours to enjoy, and also the patio area to the rear of the apartment. There is a gazebo in the far corner of the block you are welcome to use, and the whole back yard if you so desire!

Other things to note
There’s a sofa bed arrangement in the front living area for children 12 & under. We come and go, and depending on the weather may also be sitting out the back relaxing after work with a drink. Happy to chat or respect your privacy, you're the guest!
