Located close to the lively Wray Avenue precinct the apartment offers a quiet retreat just a fifteen minute stroll to the hustle & bustle of the port city of Fremantle.

The apartment is entered from Edmund Street through a garden gate. The gate leads to the french doors and a small but charming garden and courtyard. Both the garden and the apartment provide a cosy and private space. Choose between a cosy garden nook to read or enjoy a tea/coffee break or have a BBQ in the courtyard. The accommodation is best suited to couples, a single visitor or family with one small child.

Our house is located in Fremantle, Western Australia. Fremantle blends the old with the new in its intriguing pedestrian-friendly cityscape where you can explore maritime, convict and colonial history in one of the best preserved examples of a 19th century port, while buzzing markets, lively bars and casual street cafes offer something for every taste and budget.

The bustling Cappuccino Strip and South Terrace is at your doorstep and there is always a festival, an art exhibition, a theatrical performance or a comedy show to enliven your stay. But make sure you indulge yourself with the shopping, dazzling beaches and vibrant nightlife as well.

Fremantle is famous for the Fremantle Doctor, a cooling afternoon sea breeze that takes the edge off the hottest day and provides consistent wind for offshore racing. Crewing on a keel boat at the local yacht club is readily available for the more adventurous.

Getting around
Our house is located at the top of Wray Avenue close to South Terrace bars and restaurants as well as the port city. There are buses available from South Street and Edmund Street into Fremantle - there are some printed schedules kept in the handbook - however timetables vary so please do check online. The railway line provides a quick link to the city of Perth or you can book a leisurely scenic cruise on the Swan River, either one way or return, if you prefer. Two of the best ways to enjoy the historic port city and explore its culture and heritage is by foot or bicycle.

We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of the apartment and your safety and enjoyment of the space is important to us therefore all door handles, switches and the key box will be wiped with methylated spirits in addition to general cleaning products between stays.

Your hosts Karen & Clive live in the adjoining house and are readily available should you need assistance. Some guests like to say hello and you are welcome to do so but it’s not expected.

In the spirit of the Vbro community cleaning costs have been kept to an absolute minimum. This is only possible by asking guests to do their dishes and leave the space tidy prior to departure.

The 2 bedrooms are located upstairs with a shared spacious bathroom. The master room has a king-sized bed, WIR and own balcony where you can enjoy sunset views. The second bedroom has two very comfortable king single beds. The second bedroom also has room for a portacot if required and a foldaway single bed.
Secure car parking for 2 cars.

A few minutes walk to the cappuccino strip and across the road from the free CAT bus which will a tour of Fremantle and close to the Perth line train station.

* There are stairs in the apartment with all bedrooms located upstairs.
* The iceworks is located in the Heart of Freo, so you will hear the hustle and bustle of Freo!
* Please be advised that if a Gate remote is lost or broken the replacement fee is $130 per remote.
Cleaning fee includes all bed linen and towels
* the 5th guest will be sleeping on a rollaway bed more suited to children than adults.
