- "We stayed here 2 years ago and returned because we loved it so much. If you're looking for something quiet, in a beautiful little village that is close to Mayrhofen then look no further. We used the apartment as our base for skiing in the Zillertal Valley and all lifts were easy to get to in our hire car. There is a bus into Mayrhofen but we did not use it. The apartment is about 15 minutes drive from Mayrhofen, 25 minutes to the lifts at Zillertal Arena and Kaltenbach. The accommodation is faultless, clean, spacious and just so warm and cosy. There is a fantastic "drying room" for wet ski boots and gear. The kitchen is well equipped and has all you could need. The family who live above are such wonderful people. 2 days we came back from hard days skiing to find fresh baked pastries and biscuits !! We absolutely cannot recommend the apartment enough, it's fantastic. Martin was always available to message with any questions. We hope to return again soon. Just fabulous !"

The apartment has an ideal location. Everything is within walking distance. You can walk into the centre where you will find a supermarket, restaurants, some shops and entertainment venues. After a walk of only 300 metres, you will reach the ski lift (Finkenberger Almbahn) or take the ski bus that stops right in front of the door. When there is enough snow you can even ski nearly to the house. From Finkenberg it is also fun to go skiing on the Hintertuxer glacier (which is even open all year). Alternatively, you can discover the almost endless slopes of the Zillertal Arena!
In summer, hikers and mountain bikers will enjoy the unspoilt green nature with steep cliffs as a varied landscape. A highlight in the region is the Wasserfallweg in Hintertux. A hiking trail that leads past caves, through canyons and over bridges to two beautiful waterfalls.

Hoffe, wieder zu kommen." - "Wir verbrachten eine herrliche Skiwoche zu elft in Finkenberg und wohnten im "Rosenheim". Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet mit ausreichend Toiletten und Bädern. Für eine Gruppe unserer Größe war der große Wohn-/Ess-Bereich ideal. Die Schlafzimmer sind eher klein, was nicht weiter tragisch ist; allein das 4-Bett-Zimmer hat bei Belegung mit 4 Personen zu wenig Kleiderschrank-Kapazität. Die Küche ist recht groß, aber hinsichtlich Geräten eher wie eine Einfamilienwohnung ausgestattet. Für 11 Personen zu kochen ist da schon eine Herausforderung, ebenso wie die Kaffeemaschine für 10 Tassen. Gesamturteil: Wir kommen gerne wieder!"
