As you enter our home through the back garage entrance & go downstairs, you'll find your own very spacious area that is private to you alone. The space is fully furnished & spacious, there's a 40" smart TV in the living room, and tvs in both bedrooms. Plenty of storage, too. The kitchen is complete with dishes, glassware & eating utensils, stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher & coffee maker if you choose to eat in. There are 2 bedrooms and both have queen beds. There's a dining room area and 1 bathroom with a soaker tub & shower stocked with towels, also, a stack washer & dryer for your convenience. Pets are accepted upon my approval at $10 per pet per day. Home away includes the first pet in their fees, for guests having more than one pet, a request for further funds will be sent in an additional request.

- "We were delighted to find this property that accommodated pets and the apartment was perfect for 4 adults and our medium sized pooch. While it is pet-friendly, one of the bedrooms is designated as no pet allowed as it is carpeted. The rest of the apartment flooring is tile. the apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable and we appreciated all of the amenities supplied. The large property and nearby bicycle path were very convenient and an easy way to get some exercise. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

Stay in the heart of historic downtown Frankfort! This second level unit is situated in the Hallmark suburb of Frankfort. It is located in an immaculately restored 1863 building just steps away from fine dining, walking trails, parks, shopping, and quality entertainment. This upscale studio style unit has been completely restored. It features high end finishes throughout such a custom shower and heated tile bathroom floor. Come relax and enjoy Historic Frankfort!

We are only accepting dogs at this point.
Pets are at homeowners discretion. Theres an additional charge of $20 per pet per day. Owner is responsible for damages. Older dogs and puppies that have bathroom issues are not allowed. Dogs that chew and destroy are not allowed. Dogs MUST be walked far away from our home, we are on 2 acres . . . Owners are responsible for cleaning any pet mess. Look at additional rules regarding pets.

What I think is the nicest feature is our location. Walking distance to many stores and restaurants and the bike trail that will take you through and into downtown Frankfort. Meijers Grocery store is right across the street and JC Penneys and Kohls, Salleys Beauty Supply, Party City and a Dollar Store. are just a few blocks away. So is several eateries . . . Panera, Chipolte, and several others are also blocks away. Our place includes 1 parking space. The train station is down the street and Chicago is only 40 minutes away. Huber is available for your convenience and you will be allotted one parking space with your stay.

Guest access
The large, divided off area in our lower level will be your own private space during your stay. We live upstairs and are on 2 acres that has a beautiful, open back yard we are willing to share. There's even a firepit to enjoy late night sunsets. If your pet meets our approval, they will love the runaround space!

Other things to note
Parking is limited. One parking space will be available for you. Also, when we remodeled, we went for the painted rafter ceiling look. While we like the look, it is also not insulated so you sometimes can hear our footsteps. For the most part, since the kids are gone there is not as much noise but we promise to do our best to keep the noise level to a minimum.
