- "The property is great, all this ha needed to have a relaxing stay are included and available. We had a great time at Alejandra’s place." - "A very comfortable two bedroom first floor house with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. The kitchen had everything you would want and we made use of making breakfast and lunches there while my daughters were at a music festival at SeekGeat stadium. It is very close to public transportation - about a block walk to the 307 bus line. The JewelOsco is right across the street which made for easy shopping. Just a short walk to Starbucks, Dunkin’ and restaurants made for a nice walk and beautiful mornings to eat outside on the table and chairs after we would take our food back to the house. The living room is comfortable and easily had room for all 3 of us to sit and watch TV. The neighborhood is cute and feels very safe. When coming in at night, the outdoor lights were all lit and made it safe parking in the alley. I also was very thankful to negotiate a late check out.The only negative thing - it says it is a single floor ‘apartment’, which is accurate when you know that there is someone living upstairs. My daughters were a little uneasy about that and we only found out after we read the hosts message the day that we were checking in. However, we never heard or saw the man upstairs, so it all worked out fine."

The apartment is on the second floor of the building. Guests have access to the whole second floor and the laundry room. The laundry is coin operated. Guest have their own entrance.
Other things to note
The first floor and basement have friendly tenants living year round in the building. Tenants on the first floor have a small poodle. There is a camera outside of the building over the front door that is constantly recording. Guests also have access to the shared backyard. AC window unit is available from May 15 until September.

It didn’t bother us too much. A previous reviewer said upstairs neighbors are loud. This is true! Could hear their conversations at various hours. I’m pretty sure they were having sex at one point. Again, earplugs. It is a ground level stay, so we checked and locked windows. A few small rough edges: several summer insects, both deceased and living to be dealt with, kitchen cupboards a bit greasy, front lawn could use some work, basic (but fine) bed, pillows & mattress. For the price, it was an overall good & adequately clean stay."

- "Perfect location for us and easy to find. Assigned parking spot is a plus so car is off the street. Very close to super target for food and necessities. Coin laundry available but plenty of towels and linens available. Key code locks on building door and unit door so very secure and no keys to lose. Full kitchen and well equipped. No dishwasher but we are good at doing dishes together. Shower is excellent with plenty of hot water. No elevator so be prepared for 3 flights of wide stairs that are carpeted with railings. Both beds are queen size and a bit soft so bring a strong back! A very good stay for us and we plan to return next summer."

The loft is a wide open space with the rooms being the bathroom and the walk in closets. there are curtains to draw for privacy in the upper loft with a queen size futon as well as the main floor with a full queen size bed blocked by a glass wine locker system that has curtains as well. Very awesome unique space. .

- "The place is very nice but I would not recommend for a long stay. There are various reasons for me to say this but let’s keep it short. The shower head pressure is terrible, the heater cannot be adjusted and last but not least, there’s a Hair Salon below the apartment. Whenever the salon is open, the whole apartment stinks of acrylic fume which can give you a bad headache and make you feel dizzy. I completely understand the owner can’t probably do much about the salon situation (which he ignored completely when I mentioned it to him) but when I asked him to adjust the temperature his solution was for me to crack a window (which I could only find 2 in the whole apartment that stayed open) and when I notified him about the water pressure situation, he said he would replace the shower head but never did."

We live upstairs with our baby and pets (dog, cat, and backyard chickens). Your stay is fully private but you may run into us in the garden. We're happy to give directions or recommendations on things going on in the area!

True artist living loft space!!! One of a kind space in a safe area of the western suburbs close to the city and easy commute to shops stores. very close to trains buses and expressways. Private parking lot. No unit above or below. Quiet and private spacious updated wide open loft. Hardwood floors throughout forced heat and ac slated steel designer bathroom.. The space
The loft is a wide open space with the rooms being the bathroom and the walk in closets. there are curtains to draw for privacy in the upper loft with a full size futon as well as the main floor with a full queen size bed blocked by a glass wine locker system that has curtains as well. Very awesome unique space. .

No smoking, pets or parties allowed. Not toddler friendly as the upper loft space is not child proof. Please bring house shoes or slippers as street shoes inside are not recommended please during winter months and inclimate weather. There is an inside carpet and shoe cabinet inside the door.

Guest will have access to full loft space as well as outside side entry for smoking if needed. As well as parking lot for parking of up to two cars

Other things to note
This space is only to be used as an overnight stay space with full amenities. It is not to be used as a party space of any kind. Please no loud noise after late hours no smoking of any kind permitted inside. Please if possible remove soiled outdoor shoes on carpet inside stair case and or bring clean house shoes if possible. Any smoking inside will result in $150 minimum charge. Any party activity will immediately be stopped and guest will be removed from property along with a fine charge of $250 minimum charge depending on incident.
