Our fully self contained apartment has off street parking, is North facing, and overlooks the famous Brown Trout Statue in Gore. There is a very pleasant small park where the statue is placed, and our apartment overlooks all that area. Look forward to a pleasant stay with lots of facilities and places to look at close to hand.

The space
Gore is known as the Brown Trout Capital of N.Z.
It is an easy 1-2 minute walk to loads of things like:- catching a fish in the river, Photo opportunities, Bus Depot, Supermarkets, a wide range of shops, Restaurants, Moonshine Museum, Hands of fame area along with the " Gold Guitars " statue. ( Gore is also recognised as the Capital of Country Music in N.Z.) There is also a well recognised Art Gallery close by, and the local Library.
Other facilities in the town include covered Ice skating rink, swimming pool, with a hot spa pool, and sports centre. A Heritage centre is also well worth a look. Gore also boasts a Movie theatre. A short drive out to Mandeville and you can visit the aircraft museum and also have a look inside the famous workshop where complete planes are built from scratch. Dolamore Park is another worthwhile visit place, where a beautiful stand of native bush, complete with easy bush walks is located.
