Who doesn’t like labels to know where things go! The backyard has lovely landscaping, quite a large pool and hot tub, and a private deck with seating for 4. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate with outside use, but it was nice just to look out the window and see trees and plantings. Jen was wonderful to deal with, and very prompt to reply to any questions. The only downside is no laundry in the suite, although the listing does say it can be arranged for longer stays. This one bedroom apartment has a spacious open concept lay out with a large well equipped kitchen and living room area. There is a sofa bed and electric fireplace in the living room . Roku TV and surround sound plus many many movies for the whole family to enjoy. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom plus access to a single foam mattress if required. There is no laundry facilities in the apartment but I do offer a free laundry service if in need . The half acre property is completely fenced and perfect for your dog to run leash free and the host dog is always up for playtime. There is a patio with a fire pit surrounded by gardens exclusive to guests but you’re also welcome to roam the property at your leisure. There is free parking for one vehicle in the back yard parking lot.
It’s a lovely neighbour hood to explore with the Grand river right across the road , ball diamonds and soccer fields , parks and trails and two of the cities favourite restaurants are all within walking distance. It is a quick drive to anywhere in the city yet still in a small town setting . A short drive outside of the city puts you in the heart of Mennonite country with villages that offer local attractions and markets. Also close by is the Elora racetrack and casino.
I also offer the opportunity for you to take a private three hour canoe trip down the Grand river where you’ll be surrounded by nature . I will provide all the essentials and the transportation .

- "From check-in to check-out we couldn't be happier. Kristy was professional and helpful from the get-go. The property is clean and has everything you could need. We were attending a wedding, and I needed an iron and ironing board. We had been travelling, so needed to do laundry, and washer/dryer there with cleaning pods. We wanted to save cost and eat at 'home', and we didn't lack for anything to do that. The bedsheets are super white, perfectly pristine, and soft. I slept every night deeper and longer than I do at home. Our teenage daughter was able to have her own room, and the little deck out front was agreeable to enjoying a morning coffee. Parking is just out back of the house. You go right through the front door, so it feels like your 'own' little house. You can hear footsteps of people above, but this is a house, not a concrete apartment, so to be expected and personally, I find it a homey sound. The bed is squeaky, but it didn't keep us from getting a good sleep and it certainly didn't affect the comfort of the bed. Overall just a terrific set-up and will book there again next time we're in KW."
