There is no allocated parking with this studio however there is on-street parking in the area. It's just a 5 minute walk to a dog-friendly bush walk along Lane Cove River that leads to a cafe and dog park. There is also a local grocer, butcher and seafood.

Getting to the city is a short 20 minute drive.

The space
The apartment is an open plan living, dining room and kitchen. We have a 6 seater dining table.

There are two bedrooms (queen and king size beds), a bathroom (with bath) and a separate toilet.

As we normally live in the property, the wardrobes and cupboards will not be available for use.

We have A LOT of plants, so enjoy their different shapes and sizes and the fresh air.

There is a worm farm that you're welcome to take a look at! But please don't add anything. We've got it covered while guests are staying.

Usually parking is available on Cope St but it can occassionally be difficult to find a spot, particularly late at night. Cope st opposite Penrose St will always have spaces.

There is a 4-seater dining table off to the side of the kitchen. Some basic essentials such as butter and milk, salt and pepper etc. are provided for your stay.

The European laundry conveniently houses a frontload washing machine and separate clothes dryer and laundry tub. Washing detergent is provided for your stay.

The loungeroom includes a Lounge Lovers sofa bed and smart TV and flows through to the partially undercover courtyard with leafy aspect for you to relax in.

The large bedroom includes a comfy queen-sized bed and built in wardrobe and also looks through to the courtyard.

The bathroom is also step free with outward swinging door for full accessibility and is appointed with floor to ceiling tiles, frameless shower screen, mood lighting, and ample storage. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided for your stay.

Ducted air conditioning allows full climate control and the electronic blinds open and shut with the push of a button. Free Wi-Fi is included for your stay and the TV is programmed for local channels plus is smart-tv capable.

There is one private car space included with the property in the secure underground carpark with lift access back to the apartment level.

Enjoy your relaxing stay in this tranquil retreat overlooking the bush. You'll have 2 large bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms (main and ensuite), a living room and a kitchen with everything you need, all to yourself. Private entrance at the side of the house, and parking on site.

Enjoy the beautiful swimming pool at your doorstep, surrounded by gum trees, or roll out your yoga mat in the large yard to the sounds of kookaburras and cicadas.

The space
The main house is a very large split level design, and has been divided into two (upstairs and downstairs) sections. We will be upstairs so are able to help you out with anything you may need, or you can choose to have complete privacy during your stay.

You have your own entrance to your unit, a kitchen with cooktop, microwave, small fridge, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. There is also a washing machine and a dryer in the kitchen for you to do laundry.

There are two large bedrooms – the main bedroom has a queen bed, walk in wardrobe and ensuite. The second bedroom features a double bed, built in mirrored wardrobe, and a sofa bed (pulls out to create a second double bed if extra guests are staying).

The living room has a TV with Foxtel, and a very comfy couch where you can curl up with your favourite book.

The back yard and pool area are shared with the main house, but we are happy to accomodate your schedule if you'd like to have some alone time relaxing by the pool. The large yard is the perfect place to play with the dogs (we have three, but they can be kept seperate if you'd prefer not to have puppy play time). If you would like to bring a dog, please let us know and we can discuss options. Your dog will have to have a meet and greet with our dogs when you arrive to ensure a peaceful stay for all.

Other things to note
The glassware (including wine and champagne glasses) is acrylic because the unit opens out to the pool area. If you'd prefer some real glasses, eg for a romantic dinner, just let us know when booking and we will bring some down for you.

Please note that NO GLASS is allowed in the pool area. If it breaks, and the pool needs to be drained, you will be liable for this cost. Trust us, it's much easier to use the plastic glasses provided :)

Please also be aware that we are situated at the edge of a nature reserve. This means we get to enjoy all the natural flora and fauna you can imagine, including kookaburras, owls, lorikeets, possums, lizards, geckos, and yes... even spiders. Please be sensible and spider-aware, especially if you have small children. For example, don't leave your shoes outside overnight, don't walk around barefoot outside in the dark, etc. We've lived here 20 years and no one's ever had a spider bite, so we'd like to keep the record going :)

• We kindly ask that you refrain from consuming strongly scented foods, such as durian or curry, inside the room. This helps us maintain a pleasant environment for all our guests.
• Please maintain low noise levels between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. and refrain from creating any disruptive noise.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited. A $200 charge will be deducted from the security deposit for any evidence of smoking.
• No parties or events on the premises. If such activities are reported during your stay, you will be asked to vacate the property immediately, and a charge of $300 will apply for any evidence of such gatherings.
• We kindly remind our guests that pets are not permitted in our guesthouse. This policy helps us maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all our visitors.
• If you find yourself locked out and require assistance from the manager, a $100 fee will be applicable before 10 p.m. Please be aware that we cannot assist with key-related issues after 10 p.m. each day.
• In case of a lost key, a $200 fee will be incurred for key replacement.
• The use of illegal drugs is strictly forbidden on the property. Any violations will result in immediate contact with the authorities. Violation of this rule will result in termination of your occupancy, eviction, and forfeiture of rental fees.
