This apartment style condo is wonderfully tucked into the village area. Situated between Porch, the Nashville Hot Chicken and Catfish restaurant, and a local favorite, Mullet Bay restaurant, is this fabulous abode high above Ocean Boulevard. You are located in the heart of all the hustle and bustle of city life, with the best shopping, parks, restaurants and the famous fishing pier at the end of Mallory Street. You don’t even need to get in your car! Upon arriving at Ocean Tabby, there is one dedicated spot and free additional parking behind Porch.

Walking into the unit you are greeted by a large open space with the kitchen, living, and dining all in one large room. A huge, airy, full kitchen anchors the first level living area, where the sofa pulls out to a full bed. A full-size washer & dryer and half bath are also located on the main floor.

Giddy up to our fabulous studio apartment, up a flight of stairs, takes you into a whole other world. Enjoy your days on the nearby beach and your evenings in this fun tribute to everything western! Kick back on the leather seating and then rest easy in the comfy queen. Full size appliances and a charcoal grill make mealtime easy, but you’d probably rather mosey (5 minute walk) to the nearby village for fantastic grub. Spacious bath with full size walk-in shower.

Please note, we are located on the same footprint as another building with tenants. The backyard is a shared space with other tenants who rent additional units. There is a fire pit and 4 chairs for a perfect summer evening gathered together.

The spacious bedroom features a king bed and a dresser, ensuring a restful stay. A twin bed can be offered for a child upon request. Please notify me before arrival.

The air conditioner was not equipped to remove the humidity, so a dehumidifier was required, wich needed to be run constantly. to access the apartment, you had to traverse a spiral staircase. Guest with mobility issues, would be severely challenged. This was not mentioned in advertising the property. The Host was professional and concerned about accomodating us during our stay. I appreciated him for that. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Check in was flawless."

The artist studio can be found on the first floor, so you'll head up the stairs to your private luxurious accommodations. The modern kitchen to the left including full size refrigerator and floor to ceiling windows looking toward Downtown. The kitchen has all the amenities you could dream of, highlighted by the backsplash custom painted by the artist for the space! KITCHEN:
The kitchen is equipped with a freezer/fridge, microwave, and gas oven/stove. We supply cups, mugs, plates, bowls, and silverware. If you need any kitchen utensils, bakeware, or appliances while you’re here, please let us know. We’re happy to share whatever we have on our personal floor with you. The kitchen also features a washer + dryer with detergent available for you to wash clothes during your visit.

BEDROOMS (3):
2 bedrooms have a dresser and closet for storage as well as a TV. Sheets will be freshly washed and sanitized for you to enjoy a peaceful night of rest! One of the bedrooms has a trundle twin bed, and a futon. It doesn’t have closet access.

When the weather is nice, take advantage of our outdoor dining area, where you can savor your meals while soaking in the beautiful surroundings. Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway or a home base for exploring the countryside, our retreat is the perfect choice.

You will love St. Simons Island! It's a family friendly place with many historic sites as well as great restaurants and of course the Beach! My place is only 5 minutes from the beach, 10 mins if you bike. My place is cozy and comfortable, a safe place couples or for women who are "solo adventurers or business travelers".

The space
As my guest I want you to feel welcomed and comfortable. Your accommodations include the Master Bedroom with queen bed and private bath area which is on the second floor (approximately 12 steps). You are most welcomed to the use of the kitchen and I will make space in the refrigerator for your personal food items. I want you to feel comfortable so ask any questions I might not haven addressed in my House Rules sheet provided for you when you arrive.

Guest access
The kitchen is available and I will clear a space in the refrigerator for you personal items. (sorry but I don't use a microwave, but I do have a toaster over for bagels, muffins and toast). Of course I have a stove you can use to bake or cook. Again you are welcomed to access to the living room and dinning room and downstairs bath and shower is also available.

During your stay
I will very likely be on site when you arrive and will also provide you with a key for coming and going. check in is at noon, check out is at 3:00 p.m. If I am not here I will leave instructions on where the key is located. But those times are flexible, please just call to adjust either.

Other things to note
I have Internet ready TV but I do not have cable. Netflix, Youtube and Amazon ( if you have an account you can order movies on your account) are available for entertainment and news and of course I have wi fi and will give you the code for that also.
