Patrick and Annie were very helpful, and even did an itinerary for us for a trip into the hills. The pool was a nice distraction in the hot weather. Very good location for seeing the many sights in Provence." - "We were looking for a base in Provence, from which we could explore the vast wealth of history, culture and scenery of Provence. This place proved nearly perfect for that purpose! This rental was our first experience with an online vacation rental property. I must say, it was very pleasant. Owners Patrick and Annie were very gracious hosts, and though we struggled with our lack of language skills (Patrick's English being far better than our French!), we were always able to communicate effectively. We were driving a rental car, and wanted a place where we could park the vehicle off the street, behind a wall/gate. This rental provided that. The apartment itself is attached to the main house (most of the owners' living space is on the second floor). There was a bit of noise through the floor, and from water running, etc. But otherwise the ground-floor apartment is quiet and comfy, and quite secure. Annie maintains a beautiful yard and immaculate vegetable garden, so in addition to a nice apartment, the surroundings are very attractive. The swimming pool is available for guests, though we did not take advantage of it. The kitchen/dining area is small, but well-equipped and effective. We did not do any real cooking, but did bring groceries in for breakfasts, and made use of the coffee-maker, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, etc. Patrick operates a very effective water-softener, and the water is extremely soft. Sink/shower (and separate toilet room) are clean and bright. This home is in a relatively new suburb of Orange, and there are not many nearby places to eat. There is a very nice bakery within blocks, and we made regular use of its products! But downtown Orange is not far, with a multitude of places to shop and eat. There is a large Carrefour shopping center not far away. Patrick told me we were their first American guests, so I made it a point to communicate with him via email, in advance of our visit, composing in English and including a Google translation into French. This seemed to work well to bridge the language gap. I really can't recommend this rental highly enough!"

- "The apartment has a comfy bed, big shower, washing machine and dishwasher and refrigerator, a nice patio and location across the street from a large grocery store (named Casino). Our host, Jean-Michel, greeted us with a carafe of wine and was helpful in suggesting things to see. We had no problem finding free on-street parking right behind the apartment. I would not recommend parking in the Casino grocery parking lot, as there were some homeless people living in vehicles in that lot. We were guests in November, so parking may be different at other times of the year. Travelers should be aware that you will be entering the property from the garage door, and that door faces a one-way street. That said, we kept Jean-Michel aware of our progress toward Orange, and he promptly opened the garage door when we rang the doorbell."

- "Sylvain and Nadias house is fantastic its is situated within a 8 minute drive to the nearest Intermarche supermarket and 10 minutes from Orange town centre. We rented the first floor apartment which gave us private access to the fantastic pool area which is set in a wonderful big garden with two covered seating areas with large sofas and the one nearest the pool has a fridge/freezer to keep drinks cool etc...the pool area is an oasis and very welcome after returning from sightseeing. The apartment is very clean with air conditioning, which was a welcome addition as the weather was very Hot, there is a large balcony area with tables and chairs and an electric barbecue, there is also wifi available and the connection is ok there is a covered area to park your car and an electric gate to enter the property the house is ideally situated for touring around the area, which has lots to offer ..Orange, Arles, Avignon, Mont Ventoux, Nimes, just to name a few, all within an hours drive and only just over an hour from the coast. We found a lot of great restaurants within a 20 minutes drive from the house Sylvain and Nadia are great hosts, very welcoming and also very discreet.
