The swimming pool is fantastic and there is a beautiful pool bar and cooking area outside. You can easily walk to the centre of Orange where there are bars and restaurants and historical monuments to visit such as the Roman amphitheatre and the Arc de Triomphe (yes, Orange has it's very own Arc de Triomphe). There is a military airbase on the edge of the town and we got great pleasure watching the Mirage jets in training. There are pretty villages nearby to visit such as Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Seguret.
