Our spacious two-storied apartment is situated in a beautiful garden behind our home. It is attached to our home by decking but is completely self-contained with it's own entrance. There is free off-street parking and private garden. Guests have complete privacy and can come and go as they please.

Free wifi is provided and Chromecast is set up on the TV.

The apartment has three bedrooms accommodating six - two queen size beds (one upstairs, one downstairs) and two single beds (both upstairs). The upstairs queen-bedroom can only be accessed by walking through the single-bed bedroom but a thick privacy screen can be drawn across for those using the single beds.

The apartment offers a kitchen with everything you could need to cook for yourselves, and a spacious sitting area and sunny light-filled dining area.

The bathroom and laundry are separate ends of a single utility room and share a common sink. The laundry has a family sized washing machine and clothes dryer with laundry powder etc provided.

Tea and coffee, biscuits, milk, fruit and pure rain-water is provided free of charge.

There are two toilets - one upstairs, one downstairs.

We have hydronic heating in all rooms and a choice of air-conditioning or pedestal fans for cooling.

It is a short stroll to Port Fairy's main attractions - shops, restaurants, galleries, and the beautiful Moyne River, the wharf and East Beach.

Guests have both a beautiful secluded garden and a private decking to enjoy - quiet places to enjoy a picnic or read a book, have a coffee or a wine.

Port Fairy is a small rural town. The apartment is close to other houses and a small, free-range poultry run. Guests will be able to hear the chickens, neighbouring dogs and other rural noises. Children are welcome to help us feed the chickens and to collect the eggs.

We have a gentle old Labrador dog called Coco and a friendly visiting cat called Mittens. You might see either during your stay so please let us know if you’d rather they were kept away.

The apartment is part of our new house with a connected locked door to hallway. You have your own side entrance and complete privacy.

Included are quality Sheridan linen and towels, beach towels, beach chairs on request, sunscreen, rain umbrellas and a small clothes line for towels and beach gear. An outdoor shower is available for your use.

The kitchenette has a coffee machine, microwave, bar fridge and filtered drinking water, quality crockery, cutlery , glassware and essential utensils. The apartment is equipped with a Smart T.V, internet access, ducted heating and a tower fan. Original artwork is displayed throughout the apartment along with reading material and games.

There is an electric barbeque in the courtyard. You are welcome to use the front lawn area for relaxing.

DOGS- We love dogs, but can only accommodate small dogs. Please contact us if you would like to bring your pooch. Note that the front yard isn't secure. They are welcome to join our West Highland White terriers, Bosley and Maisie in the secure backyard. We request that dogs don’t go on the furniture or bed. Please bring a dog bed or mattress.

Babies are welcome and we have a porta cot ( bring your own linen) and a high chair.

We are a short walk to Pea Soup beach, a safe and protected beach. South Beach is next to Pea Soup and is a popular dog walking and swimming beach.

We are in a quiet court of only 6 houses with wetlands opposite. The only noise you'll here is the soothing sound of the ocean. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Our spacious, two-storied apartment is set in beautiful gardens behind our own home. Although near to our home, it is completely self-contained, has its own entrance and guests have complete privacy. Guests can and come and go as they please. It is a short stroll to the main street, restaurants and beaches. There is off-street parking only metres from the front door. Free wifi is provided and Chromecast is set up on the television.

The space
The apartment is spacious, very clean and well presented. Downstairs is a lounge/living area, kitchen, bathroom/laundry, toilet and queen bedroom. Upstairs there is a queen bedroom, singles bedroom, and toilet. It should be noted that to get from the upstairs queen bedroom to the toilet, guests need to walk through the second upstairs bedroom (which has two single beds). To protect the bedroom ‘s privacy, however, there is a heavy curtain screen which can be pulled across whenever needed.

Guests have their own set of keys giving complete, independent access to the apartment itself. Welcome to our cosy self-contained apartment–four blocks from the town centre in a quiet location amongst bluestone buildings and open space echoing coastal and seafaring days gone by. A short bike ride or walk will take you to the Wetland Reserve or Pea Soup Beach.
The apartment build incorporates local bluestone, timber floors and an abundance of light with outdoor views of the garden and established
shrubs and trees. The inside is spacious with an open plan style of living.

The space
Apartment TWO
There are 2 bedrooms with Queen queen-sized beds and an additional single bed in the larger bedroom. Electric blankets in each and a heater in both rooms. Extra blankets are stored in cupboards.
The living room has a large wood gas heater, TV, NETFLIX, FREE WIFI, and comfortable couches – again a generous space. A sofa bed in this room can be used for extra people – an adult or 2 children. Access to the sheltered alfresco area and garden is from the living room. The light switch, however, is on the inside wall next to the laundry.
Cushions, for the outside director chairs, are in the large wooden trunk as you enter the Tangello apartment. Directors chairs, in the garage, are accessed via the white door at the end of the undercover alfresco area. Please return the chairs before leaving your stay at Tangello.
The dining area opens onto a spacious and well-appointed kitchen. An island bench for food prepping or sitting around and excellent cooking facilities are available for those wanting to mix and match eating arrangements while on holiday.
A sunroom, with 2 very comfy chairs looks out onto the lawn, shrubs, and trees. An ideal spot for relaxing.
Next to the bathroom is a separate laundry with a dryer, iron, ironing board and washing machine.
A single tap on the left-hand sink in the kitchen provides fresh rainwater and fresh rainwater in the bathroom.
Apartment two is spacious - with character, warmth and privacy contributing to a relaxing and unforgettable time in this unique town.
The entrance to your apartment is via the main driveway on the right-hand side of the house. As you go up the drive towards apartment TWO you will be passing apartment one on the passenger’s side. The entrance to apartment two has a wooden tub on either side of the front door.

Guest access
This apartment is one of 3 self-contained semi-attached houses all on a single level - no stairs. Each section is fully set up providing accommodation and all the essentials for a home away from home lifestyle.
The front and back apartments 1 and 3 - are rented so there will be people living there independently from you. Double locked doors on the adjoining points of the apartments will ensure your stay is secure, quiet and private. All apartments have their own designated entrances.
We ask all our visitors and occupants to be respectful of others in the apartments and the surrounding neighbourhood.
The garden at Tangello has 2 garden beds, trees, and lawn. There is a simple dividing fence across the block that secures the garden space for guests who have small children.

Other things to note
The kitchen is stocked with saucepans, frying pans, a casserole dish, rice cooker, baking tray, salad bowl, and cooking utensils- spatulas, knives, and chopping boards.
We supply flour, sugar, pepper& salt, and tomato sauce.
Dinner mats for the dining table are in the kitchen cupboard and table napkins are on the bench between the kitchen and dining area.
An old industrial shop counter/table is undercover outside and a set of T Lights in the kitchen cupboard will add a bit of sparkle to your dinner.
Be sure to extinguish before heading inside.

A clothes drying rack for wet beach towels and swimming clothes is in the garage.

The space is thoroughly dusted, vacuumed, and cleaned following each Airbnb visit, however, there might be some unforeseeable hair remaining following the owner's visit as they have a dog.
For guests who are booking for more than a week, you can request fresh linen for extra days. There is an extra cost for this service.
The gas heater in the living room is serviced annually and passes all tests in terms of safety -in particular carbon monoxide gasses.
On the coffee table in the living room, there is a set of instructions for turning the gas heater on.
The Welcome Folder on the benchtop in the living room also has a copy. Please follow the instructions as they ensure the longevity of the heater.
We have recently installed a reverse cycle heater/cooler in the living room along with the remote attached to the wall.
Another newbie is the WEBER BBQ. It's a good-sized one and is in the alfresco area outside. We ask guests to follow the simple cleaning instructions after use. The laminated instructions are attached to the BBQ. The cleaning equipment is in the tall cupboard in the kitchen in a large plastic box.
There are 2 sets of WIFI passwords and ID's. These are on the '5 Polding St ESSENTIALS' in the blue WELCOME folder. The passwords are also on the back of the modem

Babies are welcome, we have a porta cot ( bring your own linen) and a high chair.

We are a short walk to Pea Soup beach, a safe and protected beach. South Beach is next to Pea Soup and is a popular dog walking and swimming beach.

We are in a quiet court of only 6 houses with the wetlands opposite. The only noise you'll here is the soothing sound of the ocean. We hope you enjoy your stay.
