- "Small, but everything you need. Onsite facilities are great for the kids. Just couldn’t work out how to work the microwave." - "A beautiful spot to relax. Walking distance to shops. Close proximity to the towns along the Great Ocean Road and various other tourist attractions." - "Myself and my 4yo stayed for the full time with my husband only stopping in in the way to a job. Between the pool, Jumpz and the tennis court we really had no reason to go do activities elsewhere. My 4yo just wanted to swim, jump and practice his tennis. My husband and I loved watching my son jump from the deck bar. It was the ideal holiday for just parking the car and never having to move it. We did go for some walks to the shops and to the playground at times. The playground is about 200m from the resort, and the IGA is about 500m. Perhaps if we were staying longer than 5 days it might be necessary to do more day trips or external activities. Overall we found the resort very clean and organised. But this particular room had some small quirks - a bathroom fan that was very dusty, under the couch (so seen when you fold out the bed) was very dusty too, and there was a lot of ceiling cobwebs. Other little tiny things included the dishwasher which didn’t fit the plates that were provided and there being zero bench space for prep! But if you are eating out every day likely you wouldn’t notice. :-) The bed and loung were otherwise comfy. And that was what we needed most! X"

- "Great location walking distance from everything, friendly staff" - "The unit was light and in the perfect location within walking distance to the beach, shops, cafe and restaurants. There are only hanging racks in the bedroom for clothes with only 3 hangers, no wardrobe and only 2 small drawers. The large gym was great, pool under renovation so not open the whole 2 weeks I was there. There was a horrible smell of old mould that wafted in and out. I had to go and buy some incense burning sticks to mask the smell. The very small fridge would freeze everything if I tried to make ice blocks. I would stay in this resort again for the location but maybe not in that particular unit because of the smell."

- "The indoor pool was great. Apartment was nice and clean however in need of some maintenance with a hole in the bathroom ceiling. Terrible communication with booking as it’s an offshore call centre and had multiple issues as unable to receive calls back when promised and got stuffed around with key collection from them. Luckily office in Anglesea was still open even though we arrived just after 5pm and staff were lovely, but would be better to have a direct number to their office. Beds were so hard and uncomfortable, considering price paid to stay I expected more luxurious. Our daughter tripped/stubbed toes a few times on bedroom to lounge room lip near carpet (which was very dangerous). Bedroom needs a fan installed as no aircon in there and was so hot, curtains don’t block out much either so was very bright in the morning or to get daughter down for nap. Great location and resort is lovely, just needs a bit of maintenance done to apartment and more comfortable beds. Walking distance to everything so very convenient."

Up to the top of the hill, and into your holiday retreat. Park under cover then walk straight in to a beautifully renovated Retro Anglesea Beach House. You'll be immediately captivated by the amazing view through a wall of windows, out over the deck, the treetops, and you have 180 degree views to the North East, taking in Anglesea Golf Course, The Villiage, and the Sea to Point Addis. You'll find it hard to leave the comfort of the electric recliner lounge with the stunning view! The gorgeous new kitchen is fully equipped with French Door Fridge, Neff Oven and Induction Cooktop, Dishwasher, Microwave and Nespresso Coffee Machine. Set up for casual cooking, a BBQ on the deck, or, support the local eateries on your vacation! The deck is set for outside dining, or a casual seat and a cuppa or a drink to watch the view.
When it's time to retire, it's down the hall with both bedrooms having large picture windows also taking in the magnificent view. Both King and Queen beds are extremely comfortable, with quality linen, for a peaceful night's sleep. Keep the blinds up, and enjoy the amazing sunrises! A central original Retro bathroom services the house, and whilst small, the water is hot, the shower very roomy, and there's great water pressure.
Private use of entire top floor and deck allows for privacy and enjoyment.
N.B. The downstairs unit is rented occasionally. No internal access between floors.
Kangaroos, parrots and cockatoos frequently visit (Please Don't Feed them!) It makes for great photos and happy memories.
Anglesea Heath and National Park are at the end of the street, for fabulous walks or bike rides. It's a comfortable downhill walk to the Village, the beach, the cafe's etc, but don't forget it's up hill to return! Let's face it, Anglesea is small, so a short drive to the Villiage, beach, cafe's etc, and a wonderfully secluded, quiet location for taking in the spectacular view, that photo's don't do justice to, for a great time away! A 75" TV with Netflix, and unlimited WIFI, should you need something to do when the sun goes down.
A little slice of Anglesea Heaven...it has to be seen and enjoyed, to fully believe how wonderful this home is.
Perfectly located between Torquay and Lorne, the ideal spot for exploring locally along the Great Ocean Road.

It feels very modern and has elements of mid century charm, simultaneously. We called it the dream house, and could live there, quite happily. The balcony provided next level tranquillity, with treetop views which reach out to the sea. We were treated to native birds, including Crimson Rosellas and King Parrots. We were also lucky enough to have some early evening visitors - a little family of Eastern Grey Kangaroos, in the backyard, below! It is clear that Christine really cares about this property. It is kept in immaculate condition, and has lots of homely little touches. Can't wait to stay, again."

- "The 2-storey apartment is one of six in a complex on the Great Ocean Road but it's not immediately obvious and entry is actually off Tonge Street just around the bend at the end of the shops as you leave Anglesea. It's well situated with a range of shops, cafes, restaurants etc very close by including Love House at the Surf Club and Rose Chinese where we enjoyed good meals. Off-street parking leads to the ground floor which houses 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry. Sliding doors off the bedrooms lead to a very private lawn area and outdoor seating. Upstairs is the main bedroom with a very large bathroom, a well-stocked kitchen and a living area with enormous TV leading out to a deck with dining tables and a bbq. There are no coastal or river views from this balcony (the trees have grown since the photos were taken). The nearby road is very quiet so both of us slept well but, from about 6am onwards, the traffic starts to build. We enjoyed our visit and would stay here again if we return to Anglesea. There is a very pleasant walk nearby along the river. Note: linen is not provided and when we realised this, we rang to be advised that we could not request it more than 48 hours before arrival. When we tried to contact the agents again later, they were unavailable. After further calls and two emails, we eventually secured the bed linen, towels etc and collected these when we collected the apartment key at the Anglesea office."

By far the worst property we have stayed at in many years of coming to the Surf Coast." - "The property was self contained with your own kitchen, close enough to walk to cafes and the beach. resort facilities were fabulous Tennis, indoor swimming pool ect. the only negative side is there was no WIFI which we found unusual as we all use our laptop and phones and had to hotspot on our devices which used up large amount of our data. The resort had WIFI unfortunately our unit did not, this will be our only reason that may deter me from booking the unit again. Otherwise it would off been great."

Rubbish left under bed, crums all over the floor, couches filthy and utilities were dirty and old. Could have a lot more potential in my opinion considering the steep price!" - "Great location. Located a short stroll to the Anglesea golf course, famous for its resident population of Eastern Grey Kangaroos, it is a great spot for both golfing enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
With a fully enclosed garden it is dog friendly and pets are welcome inside under supervision. Dog friendly beaches and great walking trails nearby make it the perfect spot for a holiday with your four-legged friend.

Make sure to also bring your runners as there are many walking tracks to explore. The kids will love seeing our local Kangaroos at dusk, only a short walk from our apartment at Anglesea golf club.
