Two exterior doors face Lake Huron with a wrap-around cedar deck to relax & watch the sunrise or use the seawall stairs (4) to walk down into the water!
*Note: Water levels reached record high (2020) but are quickly decreasing. Our beach is returning @rapid rate as of April 2025!

Use our beautiful Bay City State Park to launch/anchor/moor YOUR boat right in front of the suite (our home). Or use snowmobile to glide onto the ICE to fish! Larger equipment has nearby entry access plus beautiful Bay City State Park at @beginning of our road (beach)

We have a brand new large H-Shape [half circle] drive! You have entire access of the right side of the H drive that seamlessly connects to your floating wrap around deck, which directly connected to private entrance of your suite! 3 cars/trucks can comfortably fit on your drive. Or 2 trucks w/boats on trailers. Or if you’d like to free up your trailers from the drive- you are more than welcome to park across the street (marsh side) and/or park your trailers there when not in use. No worries though on parking, space, or safety!

DO NOT forgot your BIKES!! The #1 FAVORITE ACTIVITY our guests enjoy are the bike trails along the Marsh & State Park that begin @ our driveway!
IF you FORGET your bike, or space does not allow-you may rent our bikes! See rates. Bring your camera, binoculars, & water bottle for daily excursions! Most of our guests use our bikes 2-3x a day and venture a new trail each time! You may see deer, squirrels, beavers, egrets, large turtles, lily pads w/frogs birds & ducks nearby, fish and an endless amount of critters small & big-who are comfortable w/guests. Yes, even the deer hang out in our front yard- early morning & at dusk too! And yes bikes are used year round in between snows ;) Or cross country ski or snowmobile down to the Marsh and enjoy the wildlife this way!

- "I loved all the little things the owners set up. It was well equipped and comfortable. It is a home we will go to again for sure." - "It was an easy process from booking, to checking in to the stay and departure. We were in town for the weekend to attend an event in Frankenmuth. The commute between the rental and Frankenmuth was only about 15-20 minutes. There were several dine-in and carryout restaurants and a Walmart for groceries nearby. The rental was adorable and had everything we needed, including a welcome basket and water juice, etc in the fridge. The only additional thing I could have used was a digital clock in the bedroom, but that is just due to my OCD of needing to know what time it is when I wake up in the middle of the night. While it is only a one bedroom rental, the front room has a futon and they also provided a roll away bed and a privacy screen. That set-up was perfect as far as my daughter was concerned. She felt as though she had her own bedroom. I would definitely book again if I am in the area and highly recommend it to others."

There maybe noise from the main floor where we live. We have insulated the ceiling and the walls to reduce noise levels.

Our property is six acres. The back has a creek and small woods.

For privacy, guest have access to the front porch, front yard and the full basement.

Potential owner interaction in the back yard which includes a gazebo opened April 15 - October 15, deck, and quarter mile walking grass path.

There is a bond fire pit on the back of the property, wood included.

Originally built in the late 1800s, our historic district mansion had been converted into (5) apartments before we bought it in 2022. Our goal in purchasing this beautiful building was to bring back and emphasize the character that had been hidden by countless renovations. Spacious, light, and airy, this 2nd floor apartment features large windows, spacious bedrooms, and the character that you can only find in older homes. We hope you feel at home the minute you walk in the door!

We purchased this former mansion with the idea of preserving, as well as enhancing, the character and charm of this historic home. We have recently completed cosmetic renovations to this unit and added a state-of-the-art high efficiency mini-split A/C. Our renovations for this unit were aimed at being approachable and comfortable. We wanted to emphasize the light and airy feel that already existed in the unit while keeping the charm of items like the brick fireplace and beautifully aged tile in the bathroom.
