- "Our host was helpful, responsive in a very timely manner & our home-away-from-home was nice and offered us privacy. We enjoyed the full wall of windows/door to the patio deck. There is lush vegetation out back. We loved the morning sunlight each day that came into the place. The living space was a good size for the 2 of us; bed was really comfortable and cozy. WiFi was strong, there was a TV though we didn't have time to watch it. It was nice having a small kitchen tho we didn't cook there. We had a private bathroom with a shower that had great water pressure and temperature control. Everything was as noted on the listing. Our train ride to Munich for Oktoberfest was about 23-30 min. but was a nice ride. The town & lake area is quaint and relaxing. The walk to & from the train station gave us daily exercise but was a beautiful walk. After a few days, we found a different route for the times we didn't want to trek the several sets of city steps to our "home." There is an outdoor spiral staircase on the property to get down to the studio, though we don't have mobility issues so it wasn't an issue. The neighborhood is nice, quiet and peaceful. All in all, we greatly enjoyed our stay and would stay again should future travels bring us back to Starnberg. *"
