It has been fully renovated to a high standard including new windows which makes it warm and cosy in the evenings. It was quiet during our entire stay and the communal parts of the building are cleaned daily so it has a very well kept feel throughout. Everyone we met was very pleasant and polite. Karl is a great communicator, very responsive to any queries or requests and is a genuinely nice person to deal with. We can honestly say there were no issues about the booking process, meeting the local agent (who was also very responsive), with the accommodation or with anything at all. The apartment is located in Tignes le lac in the 'le bec rouge' building. The 2 rooms, living room and bedroom, open onto a large south-facing balcony from where you can admire the lake, the Tovière slopes, Val claret, La Grande Motte, paragliding flights, torchlight descents. The apartment is very bright, sunny from the first rays and calm. It is on the 8th and last floor and there is little or no noise at all from the corridor because there are only 3 apartments per landing.
Arrival at the apartment on the first day and departure on the last day are made in the basement. The car arrives at the bottom of the elevator, it unloads in the shelter, which is very significant in bad weather.
During the stay the car is useless, everything is done on foot or with the free shuttle.

The apartment is small, but as advertised, and was very cosy for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children), with the sofa divan in the living area becoming the double bed. The kitchenette is well equipped with what one needs for simple one / two pot cooking! The communication with the host, Mr Amado, was excellent. He was highly responsive and incredibly helpful throughout the process, including helping us to sort out hire of sheets and towels, which we realized quite late, were not included in the rental. The greeting at the property by the building manager, Mr Simonetti was very good - he was incredibly helpful. All in all, it was a fabulous week of skiing in a great resort."
