Our apartment tastefully decorated offers an unobstructed view of the slopes and the glacier Peclet. An alcove, separated from the main room by a door with brick partition with 2 bunk beds (90 X 200). The toilets are separate. The shower room consists of a vanity, a walk-in shower, a heated towel rail and a hair dryer.

- "Thierry’s comms was excellent from the start to the end. The apartment is not huge, but is nicely furnished and has everything needed for a week’s stay, including full kitchen facilities (but bring your own loo roll, dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid). There were three of us and we had choice of two double beds and a double bunk. The reclining bed is very comfy. Nice and close to the slopes, and to the Caron bar/shopping area. We’d definitely stay here again - was good value."

Right above a supermarket and across from main shopping an public leisure centre (swimming pool) in Val Thorens. Location is super-convenient. The flat has a double bed in a side-bedroom separable from the living area with sliding doors, and a triple bunk-bed in a separate bedroom. The flat is well maintained, clean and well equipped. Key retrieval and return is well organised. The owners are friendly and helpful. The flat is on the 5th floor. The only possible gripe is that the double lifts in the building seem to have a stubborn unhelpful character of their own, leaving at peak times ample time to ponder the nature of their operating system. Great flat, we have had a good time there both times, would definitely come back.""

- "great apartment, a few minutes walk into the centre of VT, and ski in/out track at the rear of the building" - "I reserved the appartement about 5 months in advance through Homeaway. After having my reservation accepted, I never got any message telling me how to check in etc. About one month before the planned vacation I sent a message through the site to ask what the procedure was, I never got a reply. I had also asked this with the initial reservation, but also there I got no reply. Then I had a motorcycle accident and broke my foot. It became obvious I could not ski in 3 weeks time, so I again sent a message to Mr Pithoud through the site to see what we should do, again no answer. I also tried calling Mr Pithoud several times, but I kept getting an voicemail response. Luckily I had understood from the other reviews that the check in and keys were done by the Sport 2000 shop in the shopping center, so I called them. They told me that they also could not get in touch with Mr Pithoud, that he was probably out of the country. They were very friendly and told me that there would probably be no problems when I asked them if it would be ok if another family (friends) would stay in the appartement instead of us. I did try several more times to contact mr Pithoud through the site and by phone, and finally I did get a response, but this was only one week before the actual date, which caused quite some stress also with the other family, which needed to know if they could stay there, or if they needed to find another appartement. He was very friendly and everything was fine, which was great, but by this time I had suffered quite some stress.... The appartement was nice I was told, the location is great, and the price was very reasonable. The Sport 2000 people are also very nice and flexible, but please be aware that communication with Mr Pithoud might be difficult, especially through the site. Over a period of 5 months and several questions sent through the site, he never replied once. This I found quite unusual/surprising. Anyways, in the end everything worked out very well, and I was very happy that my friends could take over the reservation, so thank you for that mr Pithoud."

If you get nothing else from this review, then know that I have given it 5 stars for good reason, it was spacious, comfortable and well equipped Now for the longer review: Bear in mind that we are a group of 12 students traveling on a relatively small budget! Pro's: -Easily sleeps 12 -Comes with dishwasher, and lots of cooking accessories like 2 8-person grills for breakfast, multiple coffee makers, good oven + microwave -Can seat >12 people, the table folds out to almost twice its size, and along with the sofa and stools we managed to get 18 people (us + 6 guest) around for dinner, and it was comfortable. There was also cutlery and plates for this number! -Dishwasher makes the evenings so much easier -Not all cramped in, 3 separate double rooms, with plenty of space, as well as a bunk room for 4 which would be perfect for kids if you are a family. -Large area by the door for 12 skiis and boots, and plenty of cupboard room to store other things like food + helmets -Everything is very modern. It feels homely, not like some others where the bear minimum is done. Con's -Small room gets quite hot at night if the heating is on since it doesn't have a window -Lifts in complex are awful (take up to 5 mins to come!) and we had problems with drunk people being loud and trying to open our door at night That second point is a little unfair as it is nothing to do with the apartment, more the complex itself. But it is something to keep in mind if you are a family unit and are looking for a quiet accommodation. For young adults and groups of friends who want to take part in the nightlife, it is fine. Other points. If you arrive late you need to pick up the keys from a safe. To get there from the temples du soleil, exit the apartment and head uphill, passing a sport 2000, and going under a apartment block that covers the road. there is a frozen fountain about 50m further up the road on the left. turn left here and go inside a public lift complex. take the lifts up and walk along the walkway, past a large turning circle and up a flight of stairs into the main shopping center, with a spar and a swimming pool in it. follow the shopping centre through to the other side, where it exits to the street. directly opposite there is the 'orange skii shop' this is where you pick up the keys, from either a safe (if late) or a man inside. I hope that helps anyone who is confused about where to get keys."

- "Getting in touch with the staff was terrible. Building overall even worst, dirty and old. Room had a couch instead of a bed, half of the lights didnt work. They charge you for sheets and towels. We tried to make a phone call to their service twice but every time they just said “hi ok give me one second “ and and hung up the call! We wrote them several emails, almost every day, they answered maybe once, said that someone will come but no one arrived! Horrible horrible experience, It ruined our whole vacation! So that’s was our experience from this horrible room! I except you as the marketers of this room, to contact them and do something!!"

I had communication with the residence before arriving but when I was there the service on hotels.com for connecting with them was unavailable…also didn’t answer the phone (had to find a email address online.). All in all the residence-experience not top notch, but we were not spending many hours a day there, so ok. Slopes just outside main entrance and apartment located in the middle of everything! ☺️"
