- "We had a rooftop unit and it was absolutely fabulous!!! It is confusing to find to book in and get your key but after you do it is well worth your stay! Have a bit of patience finding it and it will be worth it. When you enter the town you will see signs for the main reception but they will only give you a map to get to the property. At the parking there is just a sign that says "information" which is actually the "reception". The unit itself was clean and had everything we needed!! The upper floor was so nice! there was a couch and patio doors that opened out to a HUGE rooftop patio with an outdoor shower, and patio table and chairs as well as lounge chairs. From the view on the patio you could see the whole shoreline and the ocean and you could watch the sunset. Just gorgeous! Also following the path right in front you could walk to the beach in only a couple of minutes. So quiet and peaceful. We didn't use the indoor pool as you had to purchase bathing caps but we used the outdoor pool and although cool in May my son still really loved it. We stayed 8 different places in our trip to Portugal and this was by far my favorite! They even left a welcome bottle of wine, bottle of sparkling water and fruit. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to return. "

- "The property is well located in the town close to beaches, the old town and to the shopping area but unfortunately building had begun on the site opposite the house the day we arrived. This was very noisy in the day with bulldozer, drilling, metal cutting etc. and presumably it will be continuing for some time. The house is clean and well-equipped, as described, but the bed we found to be narrow and very creaky when either of us moved. We had no communication from the owner until I messaged via the website to ask about the check in procedure a few days before we arrived. When we did arrive the keys were not in the key box as we had been told they would be and we had no number to call. Luckily we happened to see some people in a nearby house that appeared to be run by the same company and they were able to give us a number. The caretaker did not appear to speak English at all but she did come quite quickly to apologise and give us the keys."

I do have a disabling condition with my leg so it made getting up and down the stairs very challenging. But if you are able to navigate a lot of stairs, it’s a good place to stay. Most of the cabinets in the kitchen are very high, therefore not ideal if you are short. The bed was a bit firmer than we prefer. Biggest drawback is that parking is on the streets and in Portugal that can be challenging although since we were visiting during December we did not have issues finding a spot."

Our house, located in the main street of the village and with parking at the door without charges, is T1 type with bedroom, living room, kitchen and full bathroom. The bedroom, with double bed, has differentiated spaces to clean your clothes and personal belongings. The living room, with dining space and living area, has a couch for one person and a double bed structure. The kitchen is fully equipped with essential appliances, including microwave, toaster, magic wand and coffee machine. You can also enjoy a washing machine, iron and ironing board. The apartment also has two balconies overlooking the main street and a terrace where you can take a shower after the beach, have a barbecue, dinner by candlelight or just rest reading on a lounger or hammock. We also have wifi internet and cable tv available with a variety of channels. In the living room, in addition to all amenities, we have magazines, books and films available on DVD or in the old VHS format.
Our holiday corner sleeps up to 5 people, but if you have an extra guest, throughout your stay, our oriental-style sofa will be able to accommodate one more person or you can even use a small travel mattress that we make available if requested.
