- "Having stayed on this development a couple of times before in a neighbouring apartment, we knew the area well and how beautiful it is. That being said, Sue and Mikes apartment was absolutely fantastic and better than where we have stayed previously. Their apartment was extremely well equipped, even having washing machine and dishwasher tabs in the cupboard (even though we had packed some just in case). The hosts were there to meet us when we arrived and had even provided a welcome pack that included water, a fresh bread stick, butter, milk, ham, eggs, cheese, crisps, orange juice, red & white wine and a pack of beers. They had even bought a couple of cans of fizz for our kids, such attention to detail. The apartment was spotless and had just had all new aircon units installed in the lounge and two bedrooms. Mike took us through the IPTV and aircon controls and left us to enjoy an unforgettable holiday in a beautiful location. The IPTV service stopped working a couple of times, but following Mikes instructions was back up and running in a couple of minutes. We really couldn't fault anything at casa Suzy and we are already looking at dates for next summer. Well done Sue and Mike, you've got it spot on. We look forward to seeing you again next year."

The modern bathroom includes a bath with shower, vanity unit, bidet, and WC. We provide towels for your stay and a hairdryer is also provided. The apartment is air-conditioned and has a washing machine available for your use.

There is a large shared swimming pool and smaller children's pool on the complex. The local area offers lots to do with beaches and coves including the beautiful Senhora da Rocha beach just five minutes walk away. This property is in the Gramacho golf resort that has 24hr security and is only a three minute walk to the club house and golf shop. The golf shop reception will help you with restaurant reservations, call a taxi or any other needs that you have. The club house restaurant serves great food, has a bar and a sitting area. The outdoor patio at the restaurant has fantastic views of the golf course and is perfect for a light lunch, dinner, or a cold beer after a round of golf. There is also a great gastropub that is about a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The name of the pub is Dos Santos. A five minute walk from the apartment there is a small supermarket for guests that need to pick up last minute items. There are larger supermarkets just a few minutes drive from the resort.

High speed Wifi is provided at no cost to our guests, all towels and linens will be provided, along with one pool towel per guest, a portable baby crib, and a table high chair for your convenience.

- "Awesome!!!!" - "We had an amazing 3 week stay. The property was exactly as advertised. We were welcomed with a few necessities - eggs, bread, oranges, long life milk, water and a bottle of wine. Dawn, owner, was very responsive - reaching out unprompted to check all was well. Sam and Marta, property management in Portugal, were also only a text away, fortunately we didn’t need them. But Marta came weekly for cleaning, bed change and clean towels. Eating, in or out, was very easy even with gluten free (celiac). Huge selection of Schar products at grocery stores. We enjoyed days lazing at the condo plus many days out. We loved coming back to the peace and quiet of the condo and complex. We’re not big golfers but did play a few times - only once at Gramacho (wonderful course, brilliant rental clubs - better than mine at home!) We would definitely look at other golf rental options (50-60 Euro per week we’ve since discovered) on returning as we’ll definitely go back! In need of a SIM card - Vodaphone at Faro airport were super friendly."

On the border of Armaçào de Pêra and its buildings from another era, Vale do Olival beach, the easternmost beach of Lagoa, reconnects with a rocky, jagged, magnificent coastline, announcing the other beaches of the municipality. It is in fact formed of several more or less closed coves. Vale do Olival really marks a border: on the left, we can guess the monotony of the beaches of Armaçào, on the right, it's adventure and discovery every time we go around or cross a rocky point. A winding path to the top leads to the next beach, Praia do Bejinhos, crossing chasms and underground galleries along the way. It's dangerous but very beautiful.
