It is adjacent to a great walking/biking trail through through the reserve. It's a short 5 minute walk to the quaint town of Fuseta, where there are some nice restaurants and coffee shops. A car is not essential because you can take the little train or other to Fuseta to discover the surroundings.

- "The property was clean and spacious and there was a safe large back yard for our granddaughter to play in. We were able to sit out in an evening and watch stars, satellites and planes pass over without having to put an extra layer on. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was large. All communication with Francoise was excellent and she continued to keep in contact throughout our stay. It was an easy walk to the local markets, supermarkets and local bars. The beaches were about 10 minutes walk away (with 3 yr old grandchild) and we went to the lagoon and also took water taxis to the coastal beach. Skies were clear and blue every day. We tended to eat mainly at the apartment but would recommend Bar O Farol, adjacent to the water taxis, for snacks and drinks. There is a shady children's park next to the bar so we could sit and watch our granddaughter play. All in all, an excellent apartment and holiday. With approximately 117 m² of living space, the apartment offers plenty of space for families with children, couples or friends who are looking for a relaxing holiday in the sun. Connected to the apartment are a community pool and a parking space in the underground garage. Two lifts bring you comfortably to the apartment. It has air conditioning. The air conditioning system not only cools in summer, but can also be used as a heater in the winter months.

The apartment is in a prime location by the sea and the lagoon belonging to the Ria Formosa Natural Park.

Fuseta has 2 beaches. It is only a short walk from the apartment to the beach in the lagoon. This beach is particularly suitable for small children because there are no waves of the sea in the protected lagoon.

The second beach is located on the island of Armona in front of the Fuseta with its kilometers of fine sandy beach, which invites you to a hike. You can get here with ferries that run at short intervals, especially in summer. The crossing takes only about 10 minutes.

Fuseta itself is a small fishing village, but offers everything you need. Bank, post office, pharmacy shops, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. Fuseta also has a covered market where you can buy fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables every day.

Fuseta train station is just 100 meters from the apartment. By train you can also explore the attractive city of Faro, the winding Moorish Olhão or the Roman city of Tavira.

Sports activities such as windsurfing and kitesurfing are also possible in Fuseta. Those who like to play golf will find the nearest golf course a few minutes' drive from Fuseta.

An excellent orientation was provided by property management and a very good resource guide was available inside. Concierge services were available upon request. The apartment was very clean, well maintained and the weekly cleaning services excellent and discreet. Del Mar Village itself is very well maintained, with stunning gardens and updated deck and pool area. The apartment layout is outstanding with a very large living area space, leading you to the beautiful terrace overlooking the pool and gardens, and of course the Rio Formosa. There is also a complete entertainment centre. The kitchen is generous and very well equipped for a holiday home, entry hall, bedroom and bathroom are also a good size . Large windows compliment the feeling of light, nature and spaciousness. The interior design also has significant storage areas in the entry hall and the bedroom to keep yourself organized. The terrace provides sun and sea views all day long, from sunset to sundown. In the evening, it becomes an astronomical delight with the moon and the stars giving a stunning show. Del Mar Village, and the apartment, is amazingly quiet and peaceful in this beautiful setting."

It is perfectly clean, with attractive furnishings and thoughtful and plentiful facilities, including lots of kitchen utensils for self catering! Although we often ate out at the various restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the BBQ fish at Corvo and the new burger bar with an interesting, tasty and healthy alternatives to the usual. The restaurants/bars and beach/boats to the island beach are all within an easy walk and the flat is in an atmospheric location above the square; which isn't as noisy as the area in front of the lagoon - there the concerts are fun but loud and late, but the square goes quiet around midnight and before that the cafes are buzzing in a delightful way! We really missed looking out over the square after we left, as it is the best place to be in Fuseta of an evening! The kitchen terrace had a pleasant view over the rooftops too! It is a light and sunny apartment, compact but well designed with a large kitchen and adjacent dining room! The gadgets were enjoyed by our boys - especially the large TV and internet dongle, as they like to stay in touch with the outside world... Paulo was a hospitable host and we are really grateful for him awaiting our late night arrival from the airport and prompt replies to messages. We love Fuseta and would definitely recommend this apartment, both the facilities and location! There isn't a lift/elevator so there are a few stairs to the second floor - we were fine, we just left the buggy in the lobby and took our toddler up but older people might struggle with them and we found it quite a walk to the bins especially the recycling ones, but we made this a part of our daily routine and for us it wasn't a problem. We would definitely return, thank you Paulo for being a helpful host and for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment!"

We found a very warm welcome with fruits, red wine and cookies in the kitchen. You can do a lot of activities in and around Fuseta. You can walk to the beach or take a bike. The bikes are available in the garage. We also rented a City Bike with Baby seat in Tavira. They even delivered the bike to apartement. We took a water taxi to see other beaches and the Atlantic. It takes about 10 minutes. Fuseta Tours was our choise. We also did the dolphin watching with then. We liked the small groups and there flexibility. We took the train to Tavira or Olhao. The train station is close to the apartement complex. Boarda de aqua offers good coffee there. For lunch you get the freshest grilled fish in Casa Corvo or Cafe dos Mestres. There is a bakary, a butcher, a market hall and several supermarkets in the village. You get everthing you need in walking distance. Fuseta is a nice and quiet fishing village. A lovely location for relaxed family vacation. Everthing was perfect right from the start. Thanks to Kevin and Sonia."

Welcome to our space! Because the moment you step into it, it also becomes a little yours. The house was furnished to be a comfortable family house where we would go and spend our holidays, since time is scarce and we do not always have time, we invite you to enjoy it for us:) It is in the village centre, near restaurants and bars, grocery shops and supermarkets and 5 min. walk from the beach or boat to the island. Take care of it with love like we would do. We are grateful!

The space
Since knowledge doesn't occupy any space, here are some bits and pieces (referencing our dear old wikipedia):
*Fuseta, dates back to 1572, when it was then referred to as Fozeta, a name that is derived from the diminutive for foz (referring to river mouth);
*Fuseta first appeared on the books during the Portuguese Age of Discovery. Gaspar Corte-Real, a nobleman and resident of this area, claimed to have discovered the land now known as Newfoundland in 1500.
*By 1790 the settlement included 90 fishermen and six fishing boats, which fished in the waters around Laraxe between April and September. From October to the end of Easter these fishermen would fish around Setúbal, and unloaded in Lisbon.

Until today, Fuseta remains indeed small, but full of life. Concerts and events fill the area in July, August and even beginnings of September. On the second Sunday of each month there is a flea market with crafts, antique or just plain old stuff.

Armona Island has a unique ecosystem and a lot of space if you like your privacy in the beach. It is also recognized has naturist beach (further right in the island). Also great for walks, or collecting beautiful seashells!

The building you will be located is fairly recent, it was decorated to be more a family house but we have decided to open it up! The person that will receive you when you arrive is Idina, she is kind and speaks foreign languages.

Apartment to rent in the center of Fuseta. It´s a calm village located near Parque Natural da Ria Formosa. It can accommodate till 4 people, also possible to rent monthly or weekly.

The space
The flat is located in a quite central area of Fuseta. You can reach walking the beach or the boat to go to Ilha da Armona (one of the islands of Parque Natural da Ria Formosa). The flat has a 15sqm bedroom with a couple bed, with all bed clothes and towels. It has another bedroom with 18sqm with two individual beds.

At the living room with 25sqm you have a sofa and access to the tv. Wi-fi

The kitchen has one table with 4 chairs and it is fully equipped with the main devices you may need during your stay: cloths washing machine, an oven, a microwave, a toaster, cutlery, plates, cups, mugs, electric kettle, etc.

The bathroom has 4sqm with tub, as I said before, you have white towels.

Outside there is a balcony with a small barbecue, where you can do your seafood (by the fish market) or whatever you like.

On the top of the building there is a shared terrace.

My holiday apartment with air-conditioned bedrooms is located in the small village of Fuseta, very close to its beach.
After a 5 minute short walk you reach the promenade with a park, playground and direct access to the beach.
There you will find parasols, a beach bar with drinks and snacks and many opportunities to get to other secluded beaches.
The cheap ferry or private water taxis will take you to all desired locations in a short time.

The space
From the apartment it is also just a walk down the street to the city center, where you will find breakfast cafes, restaurants and
a pedestrian street with all kind of shops, tapas bars and a pharmacy.

In the building of the apartment is a small supermarket on the ground floor for really quick shopping.
A large supermarket is only half a mile away.

Next to the small market hall in Fuseta there are cheap and very good al fresco fish restaurants.
