- "The apartment is a large single room plus shower-room. Access is via an external staircase. We had all the equipment required for self-catering. The cooker is a two-ring table top type. Carrapateira is within easy walking distance. There is a small grocery shop with all the essentials. We enjoyed a meal at the Microbar and a pizza at the vegan pizza house near the shop. The Microbar serves excellent coffee and cakes. The highlight of our visit was the cliff top walk to Pria do Amado where we saw the magnificent display of wild flowers at the time of our visit (late May). We also walked on Pria da Borderia, sunbathed etc. The sea was too cold and rather rough for swimming but there were many surfers."

Very nice studio with mezzanine in the traditional village of Carrapateira, 20 meteres away from the church. It has spectacular views to the ocean, the beach of Bordeira and the dunes.
It sleeps up to 4 people, even though it is ideal for 2. The studio disposes of Wifi, satellite TV, a complete kitchen with oven, dishwasher etc everything you need to spend some marvellous holidays in this beautiful and quiet place.

This studio apartment has stunning views over the dunes and the beach of Bordeira from the whole room and the terrace. It has a bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/ freezer, vitro stove, oven, dishwasher, coffe maker, toaster, blender, etc so you can prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner and enjoy your meals either on the beautiful terrace or inside with spectacular views as well. The studio sleeps up to 4 people, with a double bed in the mezzanine and a sofa bed downstairs.
It is situated in the center of the village, only a few meters away from the village plaza. It is not far from the beaches of Bordeira and Amado. also
It is a very idyllic place for a perfect holiday! Ideal also for surfing, kitesurfing, trekking and enjoying the lovely unspoilt beaches!

The studio has a separate entrance, the whole space is only yours!

We did some reform and maintenance jobs in beginning of 2019.

Carrapateira is a very nice, traditional portuguese fishing village. It still maintains its character, there are no high buildings, all the houses are built in the traditional style, and in white.
The surrounding beaches, Praia do Amado and Praia Bordeira are still virgin, with no buildings on the beach. If you walk a couple of meters, especially in Bordeira, you will be alone, even in summer.
It is no party place, even though in summer there is sometimes a bit of ambience on the village square.
There are a couple of good inexpensive restaurants, some cafes/ bars, a small supermarket and some surf shops in the village. a big supermarket( Lidl) and pharmacy in Vila do Bispo.

There is plenty of free parking spaces, not far from the apartment.
There is no efficient public transport to get to Carrapateira from Faro airport, even though it is possible( but time consuming). It is convenient to rent a car in Faro.

## Space

The apartment has one large double bed and a mezzanine for two kids, a private bathroom with a shower, a kitchen and a living room with amazing views through the large windows.

Surrounded by nature, this location is ideal if you are looking for the tranquillity of the Algarve countryside during your holiday and having a good time. It is far enough for open views and the natural country feel (including animals crossing all day long) and close enough to everything you need, just by the side of the Aljezur village, where you can find a great variety of restaurants, Portuguese bars, and several supermarkets where you can find everything you need for your breakfast or cook a nice meal.

Several animals surround our farm, so don't get scared if the donkey's come to say hello!

Faro Airport takes you about 80 minutes by car to get to Vale da Telha. If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended as public transport is only available to Aljezur town but not up to Vale da Telha. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.

This 45 square meter apartment is our own dream. We spend the winter and spring here, in summer we want to share our little kingdom with other lovely people. Our small apartment is newly furnished with great attention to detail. A bedroom with new bed and luxury mattress, a living room with new couch and a loggia with sea view and daybed invite you to total well-being. Several dream beaches are 3 - 20 minutes away by car, 5 restaurants right outside the door.

Parking is available for free at the door. A small supermarket is 5 minutes. removed by car. Our apartment has sea views and almost every day you can watch the sunset from the daybed. Unless you do that at one of the wonderful beaches or the majestic cliffs. The apartment is located in the middle of the natural park "Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina" in the southwest of Portugal, a beautiful landscape with lots of wild nature, small charming towns like Aljezur (10 min), Odeceixe (20 min) and Villa da Bispo (30 min ), Cliffs, secluded beaches, dune landscapes and much more. From the first visit, we were mesmerized by the beauty and uniqueness of this landscape, and we think it's not just us. In good weather you are always outside, but it is important to have a nice place to stay, which offers everything you need to feel good. Our apartment is equipped with own photographs and pictures of own works of art and therefore unique. The first renovation after the purchase we made in June 2019. Due to time constraints, we were only able to revise the kitchen, but not yet renew it, but everything is there that you need for cooking on holiday. In autumn 2019 we are planning a new fitted kitchen.
A few words to the TV: It is an Internet-enabled Smart TV. Wi-Fi is available in the apartment. However, there is NO satellite TV or cable TV. HDMI cable for connecting your own devices is available. DVD player is also available. So please bring your own devices with stored movies such as laptop, DVDs and possibly your own login for Netflix & Co.
