Self contained private studio, separate to our family home but on the same property located in the beautiful Lyttelton Harbour. Own kitchen and bathroom. With prior arrangement additional mattress for kids can be added. (Please note this is a studio so all sleeping/living in one space) 10-15mins walk down to the centre of our quaint town where there are great cafe's, shops, restaurants and bars. We are a busy family of four coming and going but the studio is a little cosy haven.

The space
The Studio is completely self contained with its own bathroom with shower and kitchenette. Single hob and microwave plus all the other kitchen essentials. There are two skylights in the ceiling , if you want these blacked out just let us know.

Any kids coming are welcome to bounce on the tramp.

You will need to walk up the long gravel driveway , through a gate on the left and follow the brick path to the studio located behind the garage

Other things to note
Our Studio is located on the back of our garage. We live in the house across the front garden with our two children and our 2 dogs Bella and Bonnie. We are an active, busy family and are away from the house most of the time with work, school and weekend adventures. There will be comings and goings at the beginning and end of the day but we will endeavor to make the space peaceful and enjoyable to be in. If dogs are not your thing we can keep them in the separate garden. We do access the garage which is storage for our restaurant but we will be as quiet as we can .

This unique space is all about location. Its set high with views of the surrounding hills and harbor, cleverly styled minimally with an open plan living space.

Our 31 ha farm overlooks Lyttelton and Corsair Bay. We breed goats and raise lowline cattle for the local farmers market. Enjoy easy access to all of Lyttelton's charms, while staying in a private space with spectacular views and farm walks.

This lovely self-contained wheelchair-friendly flat is brand new and warm, with easy access and parking. It has a full kitchen/dining area, Queen bed, couch and window seat.

The space
The flat is 50m2 and open plan. The sofa folds out to make a second double bed. There are picture windows looking out to Governor's Bay, Lyttleton Harbour and Quail Island. It has a substantial deck and easy access.

With access to a range of local walks, markets, eateries and activities, a break away will leave you feeling enriched and indulged with great memories to take with you. We aim to provide as much information and comfort as you need to have a great experience.

The space
The Whare is fully self-contained with independent access down a flight of 40 steps (those with limited mobility and/or heavy luggage may find the steps difficult). It includes brand new appliances and is well positioned to make the most of the sun and expansive views that a west-side Lyttelton property has to offer.

Welcome to our beautiful architecturally designed BOS Studio. Interior cork flooring and walls, recycled timber, floor to ceiling windows, along with watercolour drawings, retro & modern furniture, and new appliances, give it a unique vibe. You will have all you need to hunker in for a cosy relaxed couple of days, or use as a base to explore Lyttelton, Christchurch, Diamond Harbour and Banks Peninsula. Sit back and enjoy, surrounded by a tranquil garden and views out over the working port.

The space
The space is airy and light-filled. The kitchen, dining and living are open plan with two comfy chairs. The bedroom is spacious with a king bed. There is a separate doorless bathroom. The space is compact and has everything you need. Wooden blinds can be dropped over the big glass views to block out sun/heat. There are floor fans for cooling in summer and a fire in winter. The studio is perhaps best suited to a couple or a single guest. There are no doors between rooms - the bathroom and bedroom lead off a small hallway. A light bamboo curtain is over the bedroom door. Necessities are supplied such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry powder and kitchen staples. Outside there is a large deck with tables and chairs. Seasonal herbs and vegetables are available in the gardens.

There are 46 steps down from the road to the studio. Your phone light is recommended to light the way. Please take this into consideration when booking, in the event you have health, fitness or movement issues.

Other things to note
During 2024 there is a small 18sqm space being erected next to the studio. There may be construction sounds during some daylight hours on some days. Please be aware of this before booking.

The fireplace is available for use in the colder months.
