Bruns B&B is one of the original high-set Brunswick Heads guest houses. Located in the heart of town, it is just a short stroll to the river, beach and cafes.

The accommodation consists of two classic Queenslander bedrooms with high ceilings and timber lined walls, one room featuring a queen bed and the other can be configured into either a King size bed or 2 single beds. Both rooms has TV and DVD player on request. There is one large shared bathroom with shower and a large bath. Each room sleeps a maximum of two guests. Rooms are available for min 2 nights and max.14 nights.

The rooms are in the north facing front part of the house. Each bedroom opens onto the sunny enclosed veranda with a small kitchen, dining and lounge area.
All linen is supplied. Clean towels and linen available for stays over 3 nights or on request.

Check-in and out times are negotiable where bookings allow.

Local attractions
Stroll to beautiful river beach -Torakina or the Surf beach in less than five minutes, paddle a kayak on the river or take a walk along the river and enjoy being surrounded by nature. Browse boutiques, specialty shops and galleries and stop for refreshment at one of the local cafes or the Brunswick Hotel.

A short drive will take you to Mullumbimby, Bangalow and Byron Bay. Enjoy a picturesque drive through the hinterland, or explore one of several local national parks that are part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. Visit Minyon Falls in Nightcap National Park and the spectacular volcano remnant of Wollumbin-Mount Warning in Wollumbin National Park.

Relax in this calm, stylish and unique studio retreat. Wake up to the sound of birds from the adjoining nature reserve, before heading off for a morning swim at one of our beautiful beaches. There's easy access to shops and restaurants in Ocean shores and Brunswick Heads. Or you can prepare a meal in your kitchenette with a stove, microwave, bar fridge and all other necessary appliances. Eat and relax in your private courtyard, or enjoy a morning coffee looking out to the nature reserve.

The space
This is a lovely and quiet separate studio located at the back of our property. The studio has a private entrance as well as a private outdoor courtyard.

There is space for you to park your car on our property and the studio has everything you would need including a well-equipped kitchen with a stove and microwave, however no oven.

In the studio, there is a dining table with room for two, and outside in the courtyard, there is space for eating as well as relaxing. On the southern side of the studio near the front door, there is more seating that looks out to the trees in the nature reserve.

There is a desk looking out to the courtyard for those who need to work, along with plenty of storage for clothing and other items.

The bathroom is small yet spacious, and it has a generous-sized vanity with plenty of drawer and cupboard space.

Guest access
Full access to the completely private studio and outside courtyard. You will have your own parking space on the property and we'll give you access to the laundry whenever it is needed

Other things to note
We live in the house upstairs, however the studio is completely private including a private entrance and outside courtyard.

This property is not in Byron Bay, it’s in Ocean Shores.

We have a dog, Frank who you may notice around, however, there is no way at all for him to access the studio with its private entrance.

Welcome to The Little Beach Cabin, a cozy little space for those quick getaways or just need time away for yourself, the cabin has a fully fenced backyard for your furry child and a 15 min. walk to the beach. Here you will have full privacy with your own entrance and back yard.

The space
There is a washing machine in bathroom for you and a sunny verandah to relax, we are 5min drive away from ocean shores shopping centre and a 15min walk away to a couple of cafes and New Brightons Shop/Post Office and of course South Golden Beach / Doggy Beach and SGB Skate Park.

There are about 10 steps down the side of the property to get to studio entrance.

The steps to entrance has a sensor light so you can see your way at night.

Backs onto a reserve that has a walking trail through it. Watch the beautiful stars and Byron lighthouse from the grassy backyard just a step outside your patio area. ✨

Awesome house on canal and short walk to beautiful South Golden Beach. Easy 15 min drive to beautiful Byron Bay, 7 min drive to Brunswick Heads. Sunset can be enjoyed from the comfortable deck. Queen BR available in quiet street close to shops, transport and festival sites. Kayaks available for use (2nd room also available on another listing).

The space
This is an unassuming location on the hidden treasure of Capricorn Canal. Close to all amenities but it feels like you are far away from anywhere. The deck is a beautiful space to relax, read, listen to music or sit quietly contemplating life. Alternatively you can get out on the water and go for a kayak all the way to Mullumbimby or Brunswick Heads. The beach is only 5 mins away so you can take an easy stroll to the beautiful South Golden Beach ...a very relaxing space.

Guests will have access to all rooms except for the hosts bedroom and office. There is a separate bathroom to the hosts and would be shared if the 2nd listing is also occupied. We have a separate sitting room if you prefer privacy or join us on the deck or in the separate lounge room. You are also free to use the amenities in the kitchen if you prefer to eat at home.

During your stay
As a host I aim to meet you on arrival and give an orientation to the location and tips for the area. My partner or I will be available for any assistance that you may require but will also give you space and privacy that you require
