Or a good night sleep after a day of adventuring the local tracks and waterfalls.
Other things to note
Springbrook is an amazing unique place. Most days situated up in the clouds above the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast . 30 minutes away from major Gold Coast shopping Centre Robina town Centre and roughly 45 minutes away from Burleigh heads Beach.
Once up on the mountain, it is rather isolated . Which is why people love this place so much. However, there is some things to note before your stay.
There is no corner stores or supermarkets on the mountain. Your closest one is Mudgeeraba Coles. The mountain does not have town sewage or town water. So this is important to know how you use the water here and the toilet. We have a large water supply, but it’s always good to use sparingly. The toilet you use like any other toilet but just take extra caution to not put anything else down the toilet except toilet paper.
We do have solar and the house has full of grid capability with a generator change over switch. This is important to note because many times a year the mountain loses power for his little as an hour but for as long as days at a time. Our generator does power our light circuits and some power points. But not the entire Property or the Granny flat. So well unlikely it is possible that power can get lost on the mountain and this is something to keep in mind. With no power it often means no phone reception and running a generator can really ruin a quiet day. If this does happen, we’re happy to refund up to 50% of your stay if you require it.
