If you want a holiday with fresh air, clean beaches and peaceful bushland then you will love this place. Situated between Yamba and the famous Angourie surfing beach on NSW’s beautiful Northern Coast, our Pippi Room has a large bedroom with an adjoined bedroom with bunks to sleep two. We have a trundle bed as well, making the total guest capacity up to five. You have your own private balcony looking into the forest which fringes Lake Wooloweyah, and a spacious airy bathroom. PLEASE NOTE THIS SUITE IS ACCESSED BY STAIRS.
There is a green sports field across the road at the Community Hall. Although this is a popular dog-walking spot, it is rarely crowded. It has a children's playground and your dog can run, play and chase balls. We have dog-friendly beaches locally and our closest beach is dog friendly. We are also close walking distance to the Lake’s boat ramp with picnic area. There are so many places to explore. Yamba region is fringed by stunning beaches and the relaxed town centre has many family friendly restaurants and coffee shops to enjoy. Most cafe’s are dog-friendly with outdoor dining. You can also take dogs on the Ferry service which runs across to Iluka and also conducts Clarence River tours.
Please note the base room rate is for the King-sized bedroom. Bunk room guests are charged at $40 per person per night. If two guests book and only require the main room then we may close the bunk room to avoid extra cleaning costs. We include a self-serve continental breakfast with seasonal fruit. You can make tea, coffee and toast in the room. And there is a good bar fridge in your room. We do our best to cater for any special dietary needs for breakfast if you let us know in advance. We have a set additional cleaning fee of $79 to cover the additional extra work associated with pet stays.

Please leave our home tidy. Wash and put away dishes and put everything back where you found it. Please place any used towels in the bathroom. We will do the rest.

Parking is available in the driveway at the left of the large iron fence and on the street. On street parking is free but please be considerate of the turning circle in the cul de sac.

SAND
Please remove all sand before entering the property. Sand is easily concealed in towels, clothing and on the bottom of beach bags. Any drain blockages caused by sand within the house may incur a fee.

Whenever you are absent from the property please close and lock all windows and doors to maintain security and prevent rain and water damage.

This stylish accommodation is in the picturesque river town of Maclean.; a couple of minutes off the motorway and the centre of town. Whilst the property can accommodate up to four people, there is only one bedroom with a queen sized bed and ensuite. Any extra guest(s) would sleep in a high quality, comfortable, sofa bed in the loungeroom.
You can drive into your own secure garage and walk through your laundry into the guesthouse. There is also a rear exit opening out onto a lovely patio area and a main entrance that opens wide onto your private front deck. Please note that the garage roller door height is limited so taller vehicles such as SUVs and higher vehicles with pack racks may have to park on your dedicated driveway. There is also plenty of room off road and on the side of our street for parking your car/boat etc. PS The street is VERY wide!!

Maclean is quite hilly and there is no public transport. While walking to and from the town centre and generally around the town is possible, it would be quite strenuous! There is a taxi service, some businesses (such as Sanctus brewery) have a courtesy bus you can book, and a private Uber like fixed price company (Rabbit) has just started in the area. In any event you would need your own vehicle to explore the Clarence valley and visit Yamba, with it's stunning ocean outlook and sparkling beaches.

Although the guesthouse is attached to the main house via a walkway and landing, the guesthouse has been designed to enhance your comfort and privacy through the judicious placement of windows, blinds and privacy screens, and the installation of high grade insulation in the floor, walls and ceiling. Located in the heart of Palmer’s Island Village 2 minute walk to Clarence River, a kids park with no through streets where families can enjoy bike rides, fishing or take walks up or down the river, enjoy a morning coffee at the Riverwalk cart located at the Fishing Haven Holiday Park where you can higher a boat, or with the plentiful amount of boat ramps close by you can bring your own water crafts and enjoy our beautiful River and peacefulness from the hussel and bussel. There's pristine beaches, excellent surfing, and national parks. Yamba's shopping centre is just a 5-minute drive for supplies or check out the variety of different culinary delights in the heart of Yamba. This property is available for all ages.
