The space
Our cozy tiny house consists of three separate rooms: a living area with integrated kitchenette, a small hallway and a modern bathroom with shower and toilet. Thoughtfully furnished and lovingly designed, it offers everything you need for a relaxing break in a small space.

The large terrace invites you to linger in the countryside – ideal for a breakfast in the morning sun or a quiet evening with a view into the distance.

The house is located on a fully fenced property of around 1,200 m² with plenty of space to relax – perfect for dogs too!

We are particularly proud of our sustainable energy supply: The entire electricity requirement is fully covered by alternative energies. This way, you can enjoy your time off not only close to nature, but also in a climate-friendly way.

On the property, there is also my wife's beekeeping in a separate building. Occasionally she is there in her workshop or takes care of the bees – of course with the utmost respect for your privacy and peace. A separate, private access with gate is at your disposal.

Despite the rural atmosphere, you are well connected: Tiefurt belongs to Weimar, so the city bus takes you comfortably to the city center.

In the village itself you will find everything for everyday needs: a bakery with fresh rolls, two cozy restaurants and a bus stop within walking distance. Ideal for those who love peace and quiet – but don't want to miss the city.

The vacation home die Blechbüchse is a stone's throw from Weimar's Landfried district (15-20 minute walk to the city center of Weimar).
The Landfried was popularly called the "tin can quarter." The residential area used to be a working-class district of the adjacent "Weimar Werk" (created from the former Gustloff works). In 2003, the Blechbüchse district was demolished. To commemorate this, our vacation home was named "Blechbüchse" (tin can).

The space
The Blechbüchse is a detached vacation home with two self-contained residential units. This apartment of about 40 m² consists of a living room, bedroom and bathroom. In the bedroom there is, among other things, a double bed in the size of 2 x 2 m. The living room has a seating area with 4 chairs and a couch with a table and a TV for cozy hours. The couch can be converted into a sofa bed and used as a third sleeping place. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. In the vacation home there is a cozily furnished kitchen-living room where guests can prepare and also eat their meals. In the current times of the risk of infection, only one residential unit is rented. So that there are no strangers in the vacation home. The tin box is a detached house equipped with two enclosed residential units and is only for guests. Each apartment has 1 bedroom with a double bed 2x 2 meters, a living room with sofa bed and a bathroom with shower. The well-equipped kitchen-living room is large and spacious must be used together by both residential units. Everything in this cottage was prepared with a lot of love for detail.
