Enjoy this picturesque and cozy cabin set on a 150-acre farm, truly idyllic in all four seasons. Sit on the porch and take in the beautiful views of rolling hills and catch a glimpse of the horses and cattle roaming the farm. The cabin includes one bedroom with a king bed and a spacious loft with four twin beds.
The cabin feels secluded while still being in close proximity to local attractions. The cabin is less than five minutes to Chautauqua Institute and Chautauqua Lake, 25 minutes to Peek’n Peak Ski Resort and one hour to Holiday Valley Ski Resort. We are in easy driving distance to Erie, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and Cleveland.

This is a destination for all seasons. In the winter, enjoy the local ski resorts, ice-fishing on Chautauqua Lake, or stay cozy in the cabin which has a great sledding hill! Summer offers endless activities on Chautauqua Lake including boating, sailing, fishing, and several local beaches. Golf, tennis, shopping, restaurants, breweries, and wineries surround the area. An expansive deck overlooks the wooded rear of the property and the beautiful pond. The covered deck with skylights has ample seating for entertaining and can be enjoyed during any season. Two sets of French doors welcome you into the great room with pine floors and a bright kitchen. There are 4 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. The basement level offers a an additional bedroom, full bath, and family room with queen sleeper sofa which walks out to the pond, fire pit, and backyard. A delightful pathway through the woods leads to the pond with a little shore.
The cabin is a 2 minute drive to Lighthouse Grocery and 5 minutes to Tops grocery store (downtown Mayville), boat rental at Chautauqua Marina, Webb's Restaurant, Andriaccio's Restaurant, Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Club, Chautauqua Golf Club, wineries, restaurants and more. A short 15 minute drive into Bemus Point to ride the Chautauqua Belle, visit shops, eat ice cream, take a carriage ride, enjoy refreshments at Ellicotville Brewing Company, and so much more. We are located 20 minutes from Peek 'N Peak Resort and Spa, are a short drive around the lake to Midway State Park, Long Point State Park, Southern Tier Brewing Company, Panama Rocks Scenic Park, Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum (Jamestown), Chautauqua Point Golf Club, Audubon Community Nature Center (Jamestown), and Holiday Valley Resort. If you don't feel like venturing out, enjoy our 3 acre relaxing retreat. Perfect for families and couples.

There is NO AIR CONDITIONING/AC in the cabin but plenty of windows to let the breeze in. Additionally, please bring your own bottled water as system runs on well and be conservative with taking long showers as to not over tax the well. Thank you.

Come stay in the newly renovated room at the Magnolia Lodge!! This room features a fully functioning small kitchen, a queen size bed, a 40'' cable tv and wifi. We are 2 miles from Chautauqua Institution and a block up from the lake. For the cheese lovers, we are across the street from the artisan cheese shop Reverie Creamery. Just a short 5 min drive to Bemus Point where you can enjoy the new EBC brewery and a 35 min drive to the Peek'n Peak Ski Resort. We can't wait to host you on your stay!

The space
The cabin has a cozy, updated feel. Original knotty pine woodwork throughout, with all the amenities you can ask for. Enjoy the smart Roku TV to stream your favorite apps, and a DVD player. Or pull out one of the multiple board games provided for you. The garage has space for all your fishing, boating, snowmobiling equipment. Enjoy our coffee bar, with multiple ways to brew coffee. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes, slow cooker, anything that you would need to feel at home.

Bedroom 1 boasts a comfy, memory foam queen mattress, with a dresser and bedside lighting. Large closet that has room for anything you need to hang. You will also find extra linens, pillows, a space heater, high chair, and pack n play if needed.

Bedroom 2 has a convenient, full size day bed that has a twin size trundle pull out. Keep it packed away, or pull out and place anywhere in the room for extra sleeping. Weight limit for both the full and twin are 250lbs. Bedroom 2 includes a smart Roku TV, dresser, and charging station night stand.

Other things to note
We have well water in the home. It's tested and perfectly safe to drink. Our water does not smell of sulfur. Although the water is safe, we have provided a Brita water filter in the fridge for your preference.

We are a pet friendly cabin. We love that you want to travel with your furry friends! We do charge a small pet fee to ensure our cabin is cleaned more thoroughly in between guests. We just ask that all pets stay off the beds and furniture.

For those with trailers- Our driveway is about 45ft long and is double wide. We do not allow vehicle parking in the garage. If you need more space, let us know and we can make arrangements. The nearest marina is Snug Harbor Marina at the end of the road, or Prendergast public boat launch less than a mile away.

Experience a true country getaway in this tranquil rustic cabin. Set on a pond at the opening of 1,500 acres of wild stateland forest, it is the perfect setup for fishing, hunting, hiking, and comfortable camping. Enjoy the quiet beauty of the farmland and forests that surround you.

The space
Your stay here is guaranteed to be quiet and peaceful. You may also enjoy spotting wildlife, visiting our livestock nearby, walking our trails, enjoying our pond and checking out our organic mushroom grove in the adjacent woods. From this location you are just one mile away from the Mt. Pleasant State Forest, which offers wonders of hiking, skiing, and snowmobiling trails. They are also open lands for hunting.

This is truly a rustic cabin experience- there is no electricity or running water here (yet!). Instead, we use battery-powered lights, which keep the space bright. You can also use the gas-powered generator for running an electric lamp, fan, and chargers. You are welcome to use the wood stove for heat. You are also welcome to use the grill and smoker for cooking. There is a working flush toilet using rainwater. We can help with any of these things if you are inexperienced.

This is a great setup for hunters! Please let us know if you are interested in hunting on our property of 30 wooded acres. You are also free to access the vast stateland just a walk or short drive away.

Other nearby attractions include Chautauqua Institution, Peak N Peek Ski Resort, Chautauqua Lake, Lake Erie, and numerous local wineries and breweries.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cabin, which includes and open room with a queen bed, a table and chairs, a separated bathroom, and an open loft with a twin bed. Guests are free to enjoy the property, including the pond area, gardens, trails through the woods, and our organic mushroom grove.

Other things to note
We are happy to make accommodations whenever possible. While we assume that 4 people would sleep comfortably in the cabin, you are welcome to bring tents and make other arrangements if you want to bring more people.
