Please note that if you wish to access the main entertainment facilities after 6pm that you will need to purchase entertainment passes directly from the Park. These are primarily for the entertainment in the showbar but also include unlimited swimming. If you are not interested in the evening entertainment then you can pay as you go for swimming and there are many other activities on the park that are either free or available for a small fee. The park facilities are available from 15th March 2024 to mid November. Outside of these times the park still has a full security and maintenance detail but there are no entertainment, shopping or eating facilities available on the park directly but there are many options in the local area.

- "I stayed at River Lodge for 3 nights with 3 friends as we were attending a karate camp held at Camber. The caravan was perfect. Clean with all Wi-Fi, to and Netflix. It’s situated on a quiet part of the site with a lovely view and small creek running behind it. You don’t feel like you’re surrounded by other caravans as you have a nice view over the fields behind. Ross(caretaker) was very helpful and prompt with communication. The staff onsite were very friendly. Highly recommend."

Stay in our 2 berth shepherds hut situated on the established and highly recommended Cedar Gables Campsite, with over 45 years in the hospitality sector. Perfectly located to explore the Kent/East Sussex border with a footpath taking you directly to Bewl Water.

Facilities include indoor kitchenette, full outdoor kitchen, fire pit/BBQ, internet, private shower and flushing toilet. All located on a massive 170 square metre private and fenced pitch.

Cedar Gables Campsite is located between the idyllic villages of Lamberhurst and Flimwell, and situated alongside a footpath to Bewl Water reservoir. Scotney Castle and Bedgebury Forest are both within 2 miles.

The shepherds hut is located on a private and fenced 170m2 pitch. It is set facing the setting sun, with plenty of outdoor space for cooking and relaxing. High hedges to the back and side of the hut keep you secluded from the elements. To the front of the hut is our vegetable garden, and to the right is our chicken field (currently home to 3 very spoiled hens).

Access to the shepherds hut is granted via private gate, where you will then walk up your garden path, through French doors. As you enter the hut, you will see the kitchenette in front of you, the king bed to your right, and toilet and shower to your left. The hut is fully heated and insulated, perfect for cosy winter evenings.

The kitchenette is provided for you to make hot drinks and snacks, and there is a fridge and freezer to keep your supplies cold. Large meals can be made in the fully equipped outside kitchen. The outside kitchen features an electric hob, electric grill, kettle, toaster, microwave and sink. There is also a dining table in the outside kitchen to sit and eat should you wish.

Between the outside kitchen and the hut, you will find the firepit and BBQ area, where you can sit back in the provided deckchairs and watch the sunset. The perfect place to enjoy some smores and a drink.

Opposite the hut, you will find a grass area where you could enjoy a game of badminton, sit down for a picnic, or just doze off in the sunshine.

Provided in the hut for your convenience will be tea and coffee, sugar, and milk. You will also find bedding, towels, a hair dryer, soaps, washing up liquid, cups, glasses, plates and cutlery. In the outside kitchen, you will find pots and pans, and cooking utensils.
Guest access
Parking is available next to the shepherds hut, but if you have a large vehicle, or the conditions are wet, we may need to park you just outside the fenced area.
Other things to note
The shepherds hut is located in a private pitch. Part of the private pitch is also the location of our vegetable garden, so there my be occasions when we need to tend to our garden. We will always attempt to do this at times that do not disturb you.

Neddys rest is in its own designated paddock, to prevent unwelcome neighbours... our horses and ponies from hassling you. They will come and say hi, but you are totally secure. Nestled into the corner of a large field, surrounded by nature.

Please note this accommodation is off grid, has a stand alone gas boiler, running water, shower and toilet. Where possible we encourage recycling, use of eco washing liquids and shampoos. Just to protect our beautiful area.

Enjoy the sounds of the wild birds when you stay in this unique space looking across a lake and rolling fields. The shepherds hut has its own private, fenced garden and a wood fired hot tub, exterior seating and a bbq. 16 very local pubs - within 5 miles. And 3 pubs within 2 miles. 1 of these pubs has a direct footpath from us and is just over a mile. The hut is tucked on an industrial complex with an on-site cafe, pottery place, furniture shop and a hot tub shop. Secure parking with CCTV. THE HUT IS LOCATED ON THE EDGE OF AN INDUSTRIAL ESTATE 422 FEET FROM A MAIN A ROAD. PLEASE SEE THE MAP ON OUR LISTING PHOTOS. A stunning shepherd hut finished to a high standard. Very comfortable double bed in it's own little nook at one end; fully plumbed luxury shower room at the other. Kitchenette with dining area and seating with combi oven, kettle, toaster, fridge with small freezer compartment and 2 ring induction hob and log burning stove to keep you toasty. It's fully equipped with everything you might need such as pots and pans, towels and linens. The hut is tucked away at the back of an industrial complex set in a gorgeous country estate of 48 acres just off the A22, providing easy access by road and excellent secure private parking. There's a lovely cafe which guests are welcome to use (unfortunately not dog friendly), a pottery barn where you can paint your own items, a furniture shop and a hot tub shop. Please bear in my these businesses are in no way related to ours. Once you've parked the hut is a short walk away and totally secluded. The estate has a vast variety of wild birds as well as ducks, geese and chickens. It's just over a mile from the local pub which you can reach by a footpath, avoiding the main road. From June there will be a second shepherds hut on the property, this is set far enough away from this shepherds hut to keep the secluded and private feel. Guests are encouraged to browse the shops: the cafe's food is lovely and the pottery barn is so much fun. Guests are requested to stay within the industrial complex and within the 12 acre field with the lake that the hut is situated upon. Please don't go rambling through woods and fields that aren't public footpaths! There is a satellite image on the ad displaying the main road in red across to our parking as well as the boundary that guests can walk. Guests are not permitted to cross the boundary outlined in orange - failure to adhere to this will result in the termination of your stay. The host is 95% of the time on site however if the host is not around please contact via a text message or phone call, details will be given on arrival of stay. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions at all. The heating is sourced by a log burner for the hut and for the hot tub. We will pre-make the fires for ease but please bear in mind you will need to be able to attend to the fires independently. The hot tub takes around four hours to heat to temperature with a blazing fire and the lid closed. The tub will take longer to heat up if the fire is not blazing or the lid is not on. Watching and tending the fire with a nice glass of wine is all part of the pleasure of the country experience. If you have any trouble getting the fire going let us know as soon as possible and we'll do our best to assist. The main road is 422 feet from the hut. The hut is nestled into trees and you can't see or hear the road from inside the hut. Bring a pair of wellies in the winter months if you’d like to enjoy a stroll round the field. Please note we do not provide charcoal for the BBQ and we provide ample kindling/fire lighters and logs for your stay, in the case you run out there is either a shop within a minutes drive where you can purchase these items or you can purchase them directly from us.

The cabins are open all year – a great place to explore with children, dog friendly, a romantic night away, special occasions, mountain bikers, paragliders, canoeists, star gazers, painters or why not rent both of our cabins with friends! We have lovely woodburners in the cabins for those cozy nights in, or hire a firepit and sit under the stars. Many of our visitors walk or cycle to our cabins and then continue on and complete part or all of the South Downs Way. We also have an electric car charging point and are working towards becoming carbon-neutral. If you would like to travel via train, we now have our own private hire licence and are happy to arrange to pick you up from local train stations for a fixed fee.

Welcome to an outdoor adventure which elevates glamping to new heights of comfort and style.

Nestled within 10 acres of wild meadow, our tent village is more like a star base with 5 tents all connected by walkways that snake through the long grasses. Surrounded by banks and hedges this area is both private and peaceful.

The living tent is massive with an extra-long dining table with church pews either side. A bespoke kitchen has been made from wood sawn from the surrounding woodlands and includes a unique kitchen island with gas hob. The living area has a sofa, coffee table and plenty of seating, all surrounding the log burner. This space is one of a kind and will make your jaw drop.

Encompassing the living tent, are 4 bedroom tents with the master boasting a king-size bed and its own log burner. The 3 other bedrooms have single beds all with posh mattresses and bedding. At the end of the walkways is the private toilet block with 2 complete bathrooms with walk in showers and composting toilets. All finished to a very high quality with handmade copper taps. Outside is a hot tub for 8-10, fire pit, outdoor seating and a BBQ. Everything required for a relaxing time, or great get together.

This incredible space sleeps up to 10 with pets and children welcome. Linen is included to make your stay more comfortable. Please bring your own towels.

Welcome to The Forest Den which has just been beautifully renovated offering a chic rural retreat. Forest Den is probably the closest accommodation to Pooh sticks bridge and set in the Heart of the Ashdown Forest with direct access into the famous 100 Acre Wood from AA Milne's Winnie the Pooh!

The Forest Den offers a cosy studio cottage with a separate bathroom about 1.5 meters away.
It has a luxury lounge and sleeping space with a high end double bed with an orthopaedic double mattress, feather plume bedding, and cotton sheets, with a fully equipped, studio kitchen with twin hob, microwave, fridge, sink (cold water) and spacious separate bathroom (cold water sink, hot shower, toilet), flat screen HD TV (DVD player) on the wall and a dining space.
Outside guests can enjoy access of our apple orchard & garden for relaxing.
In addition guests will have free parking and free tours of the forest on request.
So if you like walking, this is the place to be! We are set in the heart of the Ashdown forest! 🌳

We have 2 dogs and 3 cats that have free roam of the garden.
We also have 3 alpacas with free reign of our orchard and field. They are so docile and calm. You must meet them when you come!
They don’t have access to the den as there is a fence surrounding the den.
When you come out of the gate of the den you will probably meet them. They are very friendly though and love people!
We will have a shepherds hut in the field from April which is available to book on air bnb.
Parking charges are being introduced to the ashdown forest from November 2022, but with your booking we offer FREE FOREST PARKING ON OUR DRIVE WITH DIRECT ACCESS TO THE ASHDOWN with the most amazing walks!

River Lodge is situated in the most sought after part of the park overlooking the river and fields and plenty of parking directly behind the property. Only 2 minutes walk to the Entertainment Complex, Restaurants and Shops. For full details see below.

There is plenty to do within the resort and right outside the entrance is the beach so a car is not necessary. If you do want to venture further afield and don't have a car there are regular buses that run just by the entrance to the resort.

Other things to note
Please note that if you wish to access the main entertainment facilities after 6pm that you will need to purchase entertainment passes directly from the Park. The park facilities are available from Feb 25 to mid November but then also reopen for the following winter wonderland dates.

The space
As you arrive, you'll be greeted by the convenience of parking right outside the caravan. Pass through the side gate and follow the decking to reach the front door, which opens into the heart of the caravan.

Step into the well-appointed kitchen, where the fridge freezer awaits on your right, and the dining table is on your left. The open-plan design seamlessly flows into the cosy lounge, featuring a comfortable sofa and a smart TV equipped with Netflix for guests' entertainment. Throw open the double patio doors, and you'll be greeted by the breathtaking views across the picturesque wooded landscape of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Turning right from the front door, you'll encounter the twin bedroom, offering two small single beds. Venture further along the corridor, and you'll find the main bathroom, complete with a refreshing shower. Finally, at the end of the corridor, you'll discover the master double bedroom, featuring an en-suite toilet for added convenience.
