- "It is a super peaceful location right on the river, lots of aquatic wildlife to keep us entertained! The very large secure fenced area for pets was a bonus. The house is very new with all the comforts of home, big shower and a great washer/dryer. Although this is a camper style accommodation it is quite luxurious. There are also many outdoor seating options and plenty of parking (we had two trucks and trailers). No nearby neighbors at all! - "The cabin was wonderful. It was the perfect size for my husband and I and our 2 pups. Plenty of room both inside and out. I spent every morning on the deck with my coffee. The kitchen is bare minimum, with a stove top and full size fridge. Bathroom was sufficient with hot water. The cabin offered both heat and ac. We brought our DVD player from home after seeing other reviews about tv reception. Located close to shopping, there is a food lion and dollar general within a 7 minute drive. You have to have an access code to get onto property, so make sure to get the number off the sign at the main road. I did meet the property manager for checkin. Everything was fast and an easy process. The only issue was the blinds on the front door. They were damaged previous to our arrival and we were not able to put them down for privacy. We enjoyed our stay and plan on traveling back."

As you pull into the private property you will come through a gate and turn into the wooded area on a rock driveway, you will take a turn in the woods to a cabin on your right tucked away into a secure private area. There you will see a firepit, a hammock area and a grille with a picnic table.There is a nice porch with a swing and a few stools to hangout on. You enter into a cozy cabin with a kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink, microwave and Keurig with an assortment of flavors to enjoy. - "Very quaint historical property on beautiful grounds. Loved reading about the rice plantation history and the ghost story. This little cabin is very cute and has everything you need. We didn’t have time to do the driving range- but the free bucket of balls was a great added touch. We stayed on the beach for the first few nights of our trip, so I booked this cabin so we could experience Southern geography that’s more inland near the marshes. The grounds and golf course around the cabin were gorgeous. The night we stayed was very quiet. The next day we visited Brookgreen Gardens, which wasn’t a very far drive away. It was also lovely. - "Terri is the best! Loved it here" - "We enjoyed our stay and Terri was easy to work with and quick to respond. The unit was clean and decorated very nicely. The mattresses were very comfortable in both bedrooms. 19 year olds in second bedroom and they had no issues. We even used the pull out sofa one night when my other daughter came down. Kitchen is smaller than what we are used to, but that shouldn’t keep you from renting this property. I will say, there are a lot more cooking items in this rental than most. Anything you need is there. And it was nice to have more than one roll of toilet paper in the bathrooms, hand soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent. I tend to bring the kitchen sink when we vacay but alot was there. So in case you don’t , you will have a fair amount until you get to store. Short walk to beach, but we did rent a golf cart from the Marketplace. Keep in mind, you cannot take these golf carts off the property. All in all, great place to stay "
