Our Granddaughter came with my wife's friend for a few days and stayed in the second bedroom. They enjoyed the room and bathroom. We spent time on the deck outside several days that the weather cooperated. We used the Gym that was included with the room about three days a week. That helps with staying active even on the bad weather days. We tried to book this condo for next year but someone else has already booked it for the time we want to be there. This is a very popular, upscale, golf and beach lovers condo, located on the 2nd floor of a 4 unit building located in Pawley's Plantation Golf Resort and Country Club. The first bedroom en suite is located at the front of the condo and the master en suite is located at the back of the condo with access to the vinyl enclosed porch. This feature gives you the privacy you look for when traveling with others! The best part is we are tucked away in a private gated community.
We have added beautiful wood floors in the living room, Master bedroom & 2nd bedroom en suite. We’ve put wood flooring in both bathrooms and in our 4 season room. we have added new bedding, furniture and art work making it even more comfortable and special.

Additionally, we made our screened porch into a 4 season retreat with vinyl sliders and overhead fan, a spot where you can spend hours relaxing or watch the golfers play!

You can unwind with a beverage on the front porch rockers. A short walk to the owners pool where guests can take a dip and take in the sun or have a bite to eat at the Palmetto Pub in the clubhouse.

The oldest seaside resort in the U.S. Pawley's Island beach is within a few miles from the villa. Litchfield beach and Huntington State Park are also close by for sun, swimming, fishing and crabbing.

Conveniently located 24 miles from Myrtle Beach Airport with more excellent golf courses than you can ever manage to play. We are situated on one that was designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus! Beautiful Caldonia a top public course is minutes away.

This Villa is beautifully decorated and boasts dramatic vaulted ceilings. Both bedrooms have full baths making it great for friends or family gatherings. A washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen, towels, sheets, beach chairs and beach towels are all available to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We recently replaced the armoire in the The living room and replaced it with a 50” smart television with stand. Both bedrooms have HD flat screen
Televisions, and wireless internet is available for your convenience.

The 2nd bedroom has 2 queen size beds with pillow top mattresses and the master bedroom has one queen size bed with memory foam mattress and access to the vinyl enclosed screened in porch. The living room has been completely redecorated with new floors, sofa, chairs lighting fixtures and ceiling fan.

We have purchased his and her cruise bikes for all of you cruisers. Enjoy endless rides throughout Pawley's. We also provide bike helmets for your protection and bicycle pumps.

For beach lovers we have it all! Rolling cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, - just bring sunscreen! After the beach we have a hose on the ground floor to hose off the sand on the chairs, cooler umbrella and yourself so sand isn't making it into the condo. If you bring your dog to the beach please rinse the sand off of them.

We have replaced the linoleum kitchen counters and wet bar with beautiful granite in March, 2021. The kitchen and dining area are beautifully tiled. We offer a few area rugs, otherwise carpet free!

- "We had a wonderful stay at Barefeet Retreat. We’ve been traveling to this resort for 10 years and this was the nicest renovated unit by far! Every detail was thought of, from the organizational of the kitchen, to the location of lighting throughout the unit, a cozy eating area, and updated bathrooms. The unit had an amazing view of the marsh which was beautiful and relaxing. This was the first time we stayed “off” the beachfront, but we didn’t miss it one bit because the accommodations were so nice, clean, and updated. St. James Park 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa in beautiful Kingston Plantation, a 145 acre gated ocean front resort community. This ground floor villa is located in a quiet cul de sac in the St. James Park community. Our villa features keyless entry, a new AC system, hardwood floors in living room, dining room and both bedrooms. The kitchen and bathrooms have tiled floors. Updated cabinets and granite counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms, new stainless steel appliances, 50" wall mounted smart tv in the living room and 32" wall mounted tvs in both bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom suite features a king size bed with coastal inspired bedding. The adjacent bathroom features double sink and a new walk-in tiled shower. The second bedroom features a queen size bed and a double bed. The second bathroom features a single sink and shower/tub with updated fixtures. Our villa has a private covered carport steps from the front door. The pool at St. James is located right out our back door. The ocean is a short, easy 3-5 minute walk where you can enjoy a 1/2 mile of beautiful wide, white sandy beaches. Feel free to use the beach chairs and beach supplies in the storage closet outside the front door. All linens and bath towels are included, as well as free Wifi. Relax on our private deck surrounded by shady trees and well maintained grounds. Or stroll down to the lake just outside our back door and enjoy the serenity and beauty of the property.

The SPLASH park and Embassy Suites/Hilton pool is reserved for renters using the on-site Kingston Plantation Rental Program. The two pools our guests can use are the St. James Pool and the beach front pool between S. Hampton and N. Hampton towers.

Cottage style relaxing villa to relax, unwind, read a good book. Screen porch overlooking the golf course perfect for a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon with a good book. Short trip to the beach at Pawleys Island for some sun and sand. Historic Georgetown is only a short drive with lots of quaint shops and wonderful restaurants. The villa has a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and luxurious linens. Beautiful natural setting perfect for bird watching, bike riding, and leisurely walks. Four televisions with high speed cable. Relaxing screen porch and 2 decks!

- "A special property with warm and inviting design throughout. It was lovely to come home to and some days we didn’t even feel like leaving! Surprisingly roomy for a townhome. It worked nicely for our family of five with three small boys. Tracie had very easy to work alarms on the doors for extra security which was a HUGE plus w/kids. So many extras that other properties don’t have. A blender would have been nice for smoothies. The dining area converted to a 2 twin bedroom offers unique additional living space for children/ teens, w a bit of privacy. We’ve rented larger properties in the past that the kids got bored with because of the limited options in living space (we did move some breakables to the huge walk-in closets) It was also close enough to keep an eye on them. I liked that there were televisions in every room, although one of the cable boxes wasn’t working so we were down a tv in the guest bedroom. We made it work but Tracie offered to have someone come and look. We didn’t want to go through the hassle. The porch looked onto a part of the course not yet being utilized so it was very private, and again another area our sons enjoyed playing in. When we were there we lucked out and no one was above us so it was extra peaceful. We appreciated that the owner utilized the cleaning fee and there wasn’t a laundry list of jobs at checkout. Very friendly pool area at Clubhouse."

- "This property is awesome with all the amenities. Plenty of tp, paper towels, trash bags, dish washer tabs, etc provided. All the details are thought of , with an awesome facility. The rooms were spacious and so clean. Very impressed. The only negative is that when I booked although it said ocean view you were actually like a street back behind the front Marriott buildings. It worked out and it is still a great view but not the expectation based on the listed pictures. At first I was very upset, but again it worked out and the property is so nice and the staff there is incredibly friendly and kind."

- "Enjoyed our stay. Nice area" - "We really enjoyed staying at Shorecrest I and thanks to the price we were able to stay longer too. The staff was great and always very courteous and nice. The parking is not the greatest because of how it was designed with no turnaround on the second floor, making it difficult when there isn't a parking space available. My biggest issue was the communication from the property manager. I called Shorecrest to confirm that our reservations were set and ready for our arrival a week prior to our stay and they said that they did not have our names anywhere. When I explained we went thru VRBO, they said because it is a third party, it will probably populate the information about our stay in a few days. I said okay, that I would call back. 4 days later, I called again to verify our reservation. Same result. I then called the day before we were due to check in and got the same response from Shorecrest. All very nice and willing to help, but not able to reassure me that I had not been scammed out of $500 without a place to stay. I managed to find a phone number of the company that was listed as property manager, despite it NOT being provided on the listing. I had to google the company name. I called and got no answer, so I called again, about 3 times total. I was about to start contacting VRBO about my concerns when I got a call from a Michigan #. The man on the phone said asked if I was *my name* and I said yes and he said, "You've called about a dozen times. What is the big emergency? We have you checking in tomorrow." I said, "I have called the property and they have yet to have my information about us checking in." He said, "Well you are checking in tomorrow, they will have it then. Just bring a photo id and have a great vacation." I said, "Thats all I have to do? Why do they not have record of my reservation? My confirmation number doesn't come up or anything. Thats why I'm concerned. I don't want to get to the beach and have nowhere to stay." He said, "All you have to do is show them a photo ID and have a great vacation." I said okay, even tho it didn't really make me feel any better about the situation. But then I received a text and an email a few minutes later with a DIFFERENT confirmation number and I called back to Shorecrest and they were able to confirm my reservations using that. Please improve the communication or at least let the traveler know they will receive additional communication before the actual stay!"

- "We enjoyed our stay at Lakeside. The reservations were a little weird. Had to call and pay outside of VRBO. That made us a little uncomfortable. You lose the protections of doing business through VRBO that way. I hope they get that sorted out. We booked another property the same way with the same company but had to cancel it. The only way to get a refund is by check 30 days later. That is certainly not the way VRBO would have done it. Unhappy with that process."

- "We loved this vacation. There was so much to do and the property was beautiful. The villa was very comfortable and met our needs." - "If you choose to hit the beach, hit the multiple pools and hot tubs, enjoy some of the planned daily activities for all different ages that they have there on the property, food and drinks by the pools, basketball court, pool table, shuffle board, bocci ball, bean bag toss just to name a few, then you really don't need to leave the property if you don't want to! We went to the grocery store the day we got there and had things for breakfast and lunches and then treated ourselves to dinner out at night. There are numerous grills (which are kept really clean!) and tables for your use as well throughout the property. Location is great for anything you'd want to get in to. Plenty of parking. The condo itself was neat and clean when we arrived and it has enough kitchen supplies for everything you need. Owner was very responsive to emails during the booking process as well as nice enough to check to see that we made it and asked if everything was ok to our satisfaction. He offered his assistance if we needed to contact him for anything during our stay as well. We had a great trip. Looking forward to possibly going again. Just wish it was closer to my home, I'd go more often....long drive up and down I95."
